We attended the NL vs Sweden FIFA World Cup game here and had a great experience. All the people employed thru the stadium were welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Since it was a hot and muggy day, free cold water and run thru water mist (provided by the fire dept) were offered. Outside of the stadium, there were multiple food trucks, activity areas, and clean mobile restrooms, not the gross porta potties. Went through security- women make sure to have a clear bag/purse and size as specified. Seating sections were clearly marked. We loved our seats and had no issues with views. Section 330. Restrooms were nearby and if there was a line, it moved fast. Great game! I also appreciated that it's a closed stadium. There were storms during the game and we were not affected. Although after the game, all were notified to shelter in place for a bit due to lightning. Easy peasy experience!

Very nice stadium! I visited for the World Cup Germany v Curaçao match. Houston had the mounted police, swat, and foot patrol out. Crowd was orderly. Over dropped us at Petco next to the stadium and it was only a 10 min walk. Entrance process needs work. Too forever to get thru the screening line then it was quick to tap the ticket. Searing signage isn't the best either. We followed an arrow that said we were headed to our seat and ended up walking around the whole thing. Best part of the stadium. . .Verizon WiFi Access and AC. I'm not sure how I felt cold inside the huge stadium when it was 1,000 degrees outside. Prices were as expected; 40 for a beer and seltzer. I'd watch a football game here too. We left using a rickshaw. Austin was great and took us back to the Blossom. I'd use that again instead of waiting for an Uber.

I've only been to this stadium once for Taylor Swifts Era's Tour in 2023 and now recently in 2025 for a football game but I liked it. It was weird having the roof closed for the concert. I didn't find the beers too expensive in the East Club where my seats were for Tay Tay, but in the main seating areas they have crappy beers for more. I dunno. I got large Voodoo Ranger IPA cups for around $10 which is great for a stadium but that was in the private East Club . Parking at the stadium is a bit much, but I parked in a private lot across the street for $15 which isn't bad. It was more for football and other events. The sound was great and despite being up a level on the side, I had excellent views of the stage and had so much fun. Only bad part of the experience was taking over 1 hour to get out of the parking lot (despite the exit being less than 50 feet from where I parked).

I honestly love the vibe of NRG whenever I've been for concerts or sports game, and this time was no different. Knowing the venue supports about 70k people and the entire venue was almost full is electrifying!! I will say, not a fan of the parking situation and the fact they were charging $125 or so for parking for the World Cup. Had to go to the metro station, park there for less, and take the metro to NRG. Also, wasn't a fan of the actual set up in that all the gates to enter are at different corners of the stadium so while gate B was front and center, the one we had to enter through - gate C - was all the way around the corner, so we (as did many other people) got caught in the rainstorm heading in. But, the people scanning you in are so amazing and efficient!

My wife and I loved our experience at NRG Stadium. We went for World Cup over the weekend to watch Germany vs Curacao. Everything was amazing! The energy in the building was contagious. The game was top notch. The stadium is fantastic. The food was fantastic. Just an unbelievable experience from beginning to end!

49ers VS Texans! Bang Bang Niner gang!!!! I'm faithful to the Bay! NRG is a pretty nice stadium that is very big and spacious. I should have been reviewed NRG but here we go! My 49ers lost this game but it's all good, we had a lot of injuries and Texans were desperate for a win, but they do have a good defense! Overall, the stadium had some decent food to choose from and the seats I had were nice as well. You can get a good glimpse of the field no matter where you sit.

NRG Stadium provides a great experience when it comes to football games. The place is well kept and clean when you first enter. There is plenty of food options and the number of areas to purchase food or drinks is enough that you may only wait in line maybe 5 minutes till it is your turn. The only gripe I had was exiting the stadium as it took much longer especially for those using the escalator because hte ramps were packed solid and moving very slowly.

I mean it's well run event center. The rodeo is amazing. Everything runs like a well oiled machine. Super fun

We really enjoy this stadium, plenty of concessions, seats are great. Loud as fuck in here. Parking was half a mile away, but not a bad walk. Plenty of things to see and definitely eat and drink. Restrooms super clean. Fun atmosphere, grandson loved it.

My friend group attended the Rodeo on a Friday. The security check was operated at the best capacity this year, which made entering the carnival easily accessible! When we got in, everyone went their way to get food! That's really what we went for, THE FOOD! We danced, we laughed and we danced again! The rides were lit and the people had on their outfits!! If you have never attended Houston Rodeo, you should experience it at least once! Cowboys and cowgirls doing country activities, the concerts, the rides. Don't miss out!

Came for the rodeo recently, but I've attended plenty of concerts and events at the NRG stadium! Very kind staff, ease of stadium navigation and the food options are great!

Second visit at NRG, and a second memorable experience! My first visit was for Taylor Swift, and this one was for the rodeo. We were dropped off by an uber at the drop off spot and then transported via tram to the entrance of the rodeo. I'm from St. Louis, the closest rodeo we have in Missouri is in the bootheel (Sikeston). Sikeston was minuscule compared to this. It was so awesome and an incredible experience. We grabbed food and drinks first (pizza on a stick- 11/10) and hung out in the designated wine garden area. We then went to our all inclusive seating area for Parker McCullom and holy smokes it was amazing! The food was well stocked, staff was so kind and friendly, and the rotating stage was awesome. We were lucky enough to snag VIP parking and got out of the lot quickly. It was well organized. I had a great experience!

I experienced a concert at NRG Stadium for the first time (Beyoncé) and have some mixed feelings. If you go with a group, I actually do recommend parking in one of their lots. I parked in the green lot and for 3 people, it was $18 each. It made walking to the stadium and leaving very quick. Of course, there was a lot of traffic leaving the stadium, but at least you're in the comfort of your own vehicle. I made the mistake of taking the light rail one night after the first concert and it took over an hour just to get on a train because of the crowds. It was so hot and crowded on the train platforms, so I highly suggest parking your own car at the stadium. The food at the stadium is alright and a bit expensive as you can expect. The chicken tenders are dry and not very flavorful but there are a lot of sauce stations to help out with that. My biggest gripe though was the merch lines. They were super unorganized especially as you get closer to the cashiers. It's like a giant cluster of people in front of the table. I think they need someone to help manage the lines so that the workers can help everyone out without feeling overwhelmed. A big tip I have is to take the stairs after the concert instead of the ramp, it saves a lot of time as the ramp will take you at least 20+ minutes to get down because of the crowds. Other than that, it was pretty easy to find my seat and my view wasn't bad even from the 500s section.

I tend to forget about this venue as it is sandwiched between NRG Stadium and the Astrodome. NRG Arena is definitely old school (it was built in 1974). It actually reminds me of Burger Center in Austin which was also built in the 70s (IYKYK). The capacity is 8K, but it seemed smaller to me. Because it's an older venue, it doesn't have features such as illuminated stairs (like Toyota Center). People were using their cell phone flash lights to go up and down the stairs in the dark. The concourse area is a bit on the small side. The bathrooms weren't great but they weren't a complete disaster. On my last visit, I attended the World AIDS Day concert with Janet Jackson (she was amazing!). The staff was helpful with finding our seats as well as the merch table. We had a row of just 3 chairs which meant we had the entire row to ourselves (my best friend is brilliant lol). The sound quality was better than I was expecting, though at one point the volume of Janet's vocals seemed off. I didn't buy any food or drinks, but I imagine it's overpriced like any other venue. Tip: Check their socials for info on parking, bag policy, etc. Parking for the show was $20 (though it varies by event) and they do take cash and credit. The parking lot is right next to the arena so you don't have to walk terribly far. NRG Arena is okay. It's definitely not my favorite venue in the city, but it's good enough.

I have been to rodeos prior in Fort Worth, but definitely on a much smaller scale. Overall, we had a great experience and I would recommend the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, albeit with some pre-planning as it was a bit difficult to navigate. When we initially arrived via Uber, we were dropped off at the rideshare drop off/pick up area, and it was a little walk to the stadium, where we were able to pretty quickly and seamlessly go through security and make our way into the grounds. Once inside, we did have some trouble navigating where/what we were going to since we are new to the event, but we were able to find our way to the livestock show after some trial and error. Once in the stadium, we immediately decided to grab some drinks before we found our seats. Unfortunately our experience was not the best, and when we ordered drinks we felt disregarded and the staff member helping us was rude and short with us. After we received our drinks, we were making our way to our seats and the $14 Mr Pibbs were completely flat, but we were anxious to go back after our experience with the staff. However, the staff who directed us to our seats were amazing! Not only were they super helpful, but after the concert they took photos for me and my best friend which was so kind and I will cherish forever, since we live states away from each other and rarely get photos together. The livestock show and rodeo was so fun and interactive, and we had the best time watching all of the events and hearing the commentary. The concert was also awesome, and the setup was perfect for all angles to enjoy seeing the act. We saw the Red Clay Strays and it was such an amazing experience. Afterwards, we made our way to the carnival just for some after concert snacks and to see the ambiance, and it was great! We grabbed some esquites and there was plentiful seating to people watch and enjoy the carnival energy. Afterwards however, we weren't able to order our Uber to the same drop off zone for some reason, so we were hesitant but had to order to a sushi restaurant a short walk nearby. It was definitely scary walking as two girls over there, and we did our best to stick around other rodeo-goers, but the shady taxi drivers and men carrying phones flashing their driver options were very insistent and invasive of us, heckling us with constant questions after we politely declined. One driver even circled us blasting music, and it was nerve-wracking since we aren't from Houston and are young women. I would hope that in the future these "drivers" can be deterred from the area or the rideshare zone can be better advertised or organized to prevent instances like these. Otherwise, we did make it out safely and in the future will be better prepared to get in and out of the rodeo!
