I've had my tattoo almost a year now and it is by far my favorite piece. I booked with Steven a few months prior to my appointment. I did not realize how popular he was, and let me tell you I can see why. He is such an incredible artist. I showed him a picture of the tattoo I wanted done for my two daughters. He did that picture and went beyond. When I got to the studio he legitimately took 10-15 minutes to hand draw my piece. My girlfriend came with me for tattoo support and it was awesome. My forearm took about an hour and a half start to finish. I cannot wait to have more pieces drawn up by the relic art crew. The only time y'all should come here is if you wanna be lied to and played with like you're stupid. Jeff was my artist for a while. We got along great & his work was amazing. Until about 3-4 days ago. I had an appointment scheduled May 17th at 12pm (deposit was put down and all). On May 16th at 8:44pm (screen shot 1) stating he needed to cancel because he has strep throat. Regardless of the situation, I did feel bad for him but, also I was upset because it took a lot for me to get that day off of work & babysitting arrangements are difficult. I had a gut feeling he was lying to me because EDC festivities were beginning since he was posting how excited he was. The reason for me writing this is because of how I found out he had lied to me :) Like 24 hours later he posted an EDC event going on on THURSDAY. In which i swiped up and said "Glad you're feeling better" obviously sarcastic because strep does not go away that fast. His response had me dying of laughter (screen shot 2). I'll be sure to let doctors know to stop prescribing antibiotics and to just "pound helluh tea" to get rid of strep throat. Like come on dude im not stupid. After all this i reached out to Jeff and asked him for my deposit back. His schedule and mine did not work out so why should he keep my deposit when idk if or when i'm going to reschedule. AFTER he sent me my deposit, he unfollowed me. This is when I reached out (screen shot 3). I understand people get sick and shit happens but that fact that he lied about it to me because he knows how understanding I am & how he thought i wouldn't catch on just shows. If you knew you'd have a bunch of things to do for EDC don't schedule people and waste their time and money. That's what a normal person would do but because he doesn't care (clearly) he just took my deposit and was hoping i'd be understanding that he had to cancel on me to go turn up. Lastly, remember, when you leave that shop they ALL talk shit. Do with that what you will but it's disgusting the stuff i've heard. It all just incredibly unprofessional. read more

Steven tattooed my arm sleeve over 3 sessions. Anyone knows that getting tattooed takes hoursss, especially for big projects, so you get to chat with your artist and anyone else in the shop while you're there. I've had nothing but good experiences with each of my tattoos and I plan to continue getting tattooed here. Steven and the rest of his team are always friendly, professional, and clean. They're also all really funny. His wife Tara even micro bladed my mom's eyebrows, so the shop and their team can help anyone out. I've had my entire arm completed for a year now and I still look at it with the same awe that I had the first time it was tattooed. I came here for my first tattoo so nervous back in 2020. I met Jeff, and that's how my tattoo addiction started. I receive compliments SO often on all my tattoos. Going to him since he was an apprentice and seeing him grow into the artist he is today makes me so proud and happy. Personally I would get tattooed by anyone here. Which led me to get tattooed by Gillian too. She is fantastic, I have beautiful floral done by her. She is great.
