Wife went to wash dishes after thinking he fixed it and boom water everywhere. Flooded my kitchen and got under my flooring. Also when he went on the roof he knocked the drain out in the laundry room and never went check it. Laundry room also flooded. Didn't stop there. My sink drain did not leak before and magically after it did. Tech tells my wife it has to be changed and he proceeded to put a stainless steel drain on my expensive gunmetal sink. My wife tells him after and they try to tell her oh well brushed nickel would have cost more. Again its gunmetal and we didn't care about the price. They sent a deceptive mitigation team and made agreements to pay through them and did not honor any of it. They didn't even refund the charge for service call. Imagine ruining someone's home and charging them. But here is the kicker, the company never even called or apologized. Not the tech, the manager, or a single person from the company. I would never recommend them to anyone. Had to call several times months later to finally get someone to speak to me and Robin was rude from the start of the conversation and said this was probably a blessing to have happened to us. Do not use them and when they do mess up your home do not allow them to send the shady RestoPros to lie to you. But hey I guess when you are a shady business you deal with other shady businesses also.

Adams Air Condition & Heating, LLC installed an air conditioning and heating system in my house…read morethat was not properly installed in July of 2021. I had to dispute my credit card payment to Adams A/C before they came back to reposition the inside unit, because the ductwork was sticking out of one of the bedrooms by several inches, because it had not been installed correctly. Adams A/C also agreed to put in an extra vent (which they never did), and put in a new digital thermostat (also which they never did). They gave me a 2 year warranty on parts and labor in the original agreement, which was never honored. No one inspected the initial installation, even though there were a number of things wrong with it. In addition to the positioning of the inside unit, cutting a the new vent and installing a new thermostat, there was excessive sweating in the lines going from the inside of the house to the outside compressor. This excessive sweating of the lines damaged the ceiling tiles and its aluminum framework all along the ceiling under these lines--about 40 feet of ceiling tiles in April, 2022, when the system was still under warranty. When I complained about this to Adams A/C, they did not come out fix it, despite their warranty. They kept putting me off after months of calling and texting them. When I finally complained to Adams A/C's insurance company, the owner of the company came out to my house to talk and dispute any kind of wrongdoing. However, he did not do any kind of hands-on inspection of the system. He told me that the excessive sweating and freezing of the lines was because the system had been run at too low of a temperature, but it was only being run slightly lower than 70 degrees Fahrenheit. According to the manufacturer's specifications, the system was capable of running continuously at 65 degrees Fahrenheit. So I started to run the system at just 70 degrees Fahrenheit continuously from that point on. On Friday November 4, 2022, the system froze up again inside and outside after being run at just 70 degrees Fahrenheit for weeks. When I told Adams A/C the system had been run at just 70 degrees but still froze, he told me my thermostat was too old and inaccurate, but they had never installed the new digital thermostat that was part of the original contract. There were ice crystals on the inside copper line coming out of the unit and a 2-inch thick block of ice on the outside line coming out the compressor. I called Adams A/C to deal with the problem, which I indicated was an emergency, but they never came out. I was forced to call another company to correct the problem, who told me that the system had to be shut down for a couple of hours to unfreeze. The new company came out that day and checked the freon levels and discovered that the freon was low and had to be filled to prevent freezing of the system again The freon should have been properly filled initially by Adams A/C when they installed the unit, and they should have checked it again over the intervening months according to their 2-year warranty. I had to pay several hundred dollars out-of-pocket for outside professional advice and work on a system that was installed improperly and that was still under warranty. The work Adams A/C initially promised to do by contract was never completed. My overall impression of Adams Air Condition & Heating, LLC is that they promise a lot initially to get the job, they charge much more than what they quote as their original estimate, they do quick but shoddy work, they are unresponsive to complaints or requests for warranty work, they try to blame the homeowner for the problems with the A/C system, and they do not honor their warranties.

Update: They finally got back to us & sent a technician in the late afternoon. He diagnosed the problem, made repairs, and stayed 30+ minutes to see if it would indeed cool down. I got a schedued work date and requested an estimate via text with Mary Beth. I never received the estimate or an invoice. The communication was via text. A group of workers came and did the work (not including John). John mis remembered the detials of the initial walk through and had to go get more materials. I communicated clearly that I needed hardiboard. Some materials were left at our home after the job. Months later when my HOA was ready to paint my home I was informed that the material put on my home was in fact not hardiboard. I communicated this immediatlely to Mary Beth. She scheduled John to come back out to view the work with our HOA president. John said that the materials left were not from the work he did and disputed with me that the material was in fact hardiboard. I had to get Mary Beth on the phone and use my texts in order for John to admit that it was the incorrect material and they needed to remove it and redo the job. After agreeing to remove the incorrect material in exchange for hardiboard Mary Beth began making excuses about personal issues and scheduling for 2-3 months. She NEVER called me I had to keep reaching back out to them for weeks. It was not until I asked for thier liscense information to file a report with the BBB that Mary Beth informed me that they do NOT have a liscense. That communication finally opened up thier schedule and they came out to redo the work in the following days. John did not apologize or even show his face during this redo. He came and took photos and talked with the workers but never spoke to my husband or I again. Im glad we did not have to file civally to rectify the issue. I would not call this company for a large job for someone inquiring. Not at all again personally.
