When I started seeing Barry as I stated before I didn't know what to expect. I have still seen him almost weekly since my first review. He has helped me through loss, family issues, personal anxieties, as well as the stress of a wedding!! He was there prior to the proposal through the planning and even was a guest at the wedding. The days where I felt like I couldn't even bear it, I'd find myself calling him and asking him to fit me in which he always did. He got me to this point. Happily married now almost two weeks with the tips and methods to keep me calm through everything. He is without a doubt someone who I couldn't thank enough. The best part is that now when I am panicked I can imagine our sessions. For example, I am not a fan of the ocean. The other day my husband and I agreed to snorkel even though I was terrified. I could feel my heart racing my breathing as well. I was struggling in the water not enjoying any moment of it. I took a minute and used the techniques he taught me to calm myself down. The national group gave me a zoom consult with someone on the other side of the country. She told me I'd meet the person doing the procedure once I got there for my appointment. All of this after paying a deposit. I didn't really like the prospect of this. In my opinion, if you're going to be doing any work on my body, you should probably meet me first. Genesis scheduled me for an in-person consultation. I met with the woman who did my procedure. She took a close look at the areas I wanted done, gave me recommendations, and gave me a quote. They have a partnership with a payment plan group so you can pay in installments. I was even able to get no interest for a year! The procedure itself was explained perfectly to me. Kristie made me very comfortable during, or as comfortable as one can be during coolsculpting haha. When I called a few weeks later to check in on my progress, she scheduled me to come in so she could assess me in person. I appreciate the attention they give their clients. The only thing I don't like about here is their hours and days they are open. They're open like 3 days a week and much of it is during work hours. It leaves a fairly small window to get things done. This ended up being an issue when I was trying to come back for my 3 month after photos. (And if you're wondering if coolsculpting works, yes it does. It's not a weight loss technique tho! However, after that I was scheduled for the following Saturday, and at the last minute I was called and told the provider I originally met was no longer with the company and the service couldn't be completed by anyone else. The new manager, Suzanne, said she would try to arrange an appointment during the week since I work Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. She promised she would try to have someone cover until 6:30 PM on Tuesday and that she would call me back. I never received a call back. I followed up and requested to cancel and receive a refund. Suzanne said she could refund some of it, but refused to refund the portion tied to the gift card my husband purchased using his credit card. She claimed corporate said they couldn't refund it, but she never provided the corporate contact information or followed through on calling my husband back. After weeks of calling, the issue still wasn't resolved. I don't recommend this location/service. The communication and follow-through were extremely disappointing, and I wasn't able to get a refund for services that were not provided. Suzanne is not helpful at all.
