As I recall, the sales rep was cautiously watching my reaction, when he scanned and stole my information. Sportsman policy is to never asked for the customer's info, just steal it. I thought scanning my info was another violation of my constitutional rights by the state. But the state does not require copied or reported data, just a visually confirmation of the buyer's age. I will never set a foot in that store again!

Still, all in all a pretty simple process. Spot is a bit hard to find, but the service was friendly enough. Parking is a small private lot at the end of a dead end. I'm decently versed in firearms, I wouldn't say a gun nut but above average experience, but understanding your laws and when, and only when, it is fully acceptable to draw a firearm on another person is something you can never be too well trained on. She made the most out of a small space, taught hands on with everyone, very informed and qualified, with a good personality to boot. She was lighthearted and funny when the moment was right but pivoted well to talking serious matters when it comes to safety and understanding the laws. At no point in the room or by the instructor was I shoveled purchases down my throat or political beliefs, like I have seen happen at other firearm and/or training places. That was a relief, as the "hardened military muscle man with diehard beliefs and unmatched knowledge we heathens could never dream to fully understand" is something I've ran into on more than one occasion and is stale and frankly annoying. Nope, no BS, met everyone at their skill level and brought them up a measure. Instructor was a genuine person and knowledgeable. I will likely take more classes from here!
