I was very comfortable and pleased with my treatments. I have been a patient of Lori's for over 6 years. I began to see her after I had been to a local dermatologist for a skin check that turned into appointments for injections and laser hair removal. I felt like I had been oversold skin products and procedures I didn't need nor fit into my budget. Results, Lori and the Skin PHD products keep me as a loyal patient. It is very difficult to muddle through all the procedures and products out there for anti- aging. Without a doubt, I feel I am in good hands! Lori Terwilliger is an incredibly knowledgeable, experienced and gifted skin specialist and on top of that she is a wonderful person. I really look forward to my regular appointment about every five weeks. She has been taking care of my skin for several years; the results are fantastic as attested to by the frequent compliments I receive about my skin - and I'm 73+ years old! When I first visited Lori I had been struggling with rosacea for several years and it was getting worse. I also have alopecia areata-universalis, an auto-immune condition, that contributes to sensitive skin. I have to be vigilant about avoiding products that are too strong - don't ask me how I know this or about the time I was red for at least six months after investing in a regimen a friend raved about! Now my rosacea is gone; it rarely rears its ugly head and when it does, I have the best products to calm it right back down. Lori devised a care and product regimen for me that have been perfect. She has chosen products from different companies according to which ones are best for my issues. I use only what she tells me to use and it works. It's also very freeing - I don't even stop to look at all those ads and samples. Recently I turned down the gift of a free facial at a very upscale DC salon because I won't risk anyone else touching my skin! I have also had Lori do some laser work - mostly to eliminate tiny red veins that are a fact of life w/ rosacea - and that too has been very successful. Remedies Skin and Laser is a great place to go to have any kind of skin treatment. I had the Infini Laser Treatment and the ClearLift Laser this past year. I am 71 years old and I look 60! No one I tell my age to can believe I am 71 because my skin looks so good. And, let me add that this was not always so. My skin looks better now than it did 10 years ago. Great experience with Infini RF micro-needling at Remedies with Anne and Lori. I love the collaboration between the two. During my consultation, Anne recommended the micro-needling, and Lori also saw me and felt I would be disappointed with more IPL treatments. (Once a year for the last 8 to 10 years, I have done IPL at my dermatologist's office. After not seeing an improvement with the last 3 treatments, I wanted to try a different laser machine at a different practice. I was relieved when Anne recommended a procedure entirely new to me!) Lori applied the numbing cream, but whenever Anne walked by, she would check to see that the cream was evenly applied and rub it in when necessary. During the 2-hour wait for the cream to take effect, I chatted with other clients. Lori's business has a friendly community of clients and it was nice to chat with others and use the WiFi. I was referred to Lori by my wife. She and all of her friends have known for years, what I just found out...Lori is the smartest, most caring and efficient person I have ever seen with my skin. I received a gift from my Daughter for my 60th Birthday to have the laser hair treatment to remove all of the hair from my entire body. As I have a lot of hair due to my ethnic background and I was thrilled with Michelle Fisher. She explained everything to me and made feel so special.
