Dahleen (owner) is so personable, genuine and easy to be around. My treatment this time was the newest laser therapy that is now being offered, not Morpheus the most newest one. My face is tighter, pores smaller and fine lines improved. The spa is clean and relaxing. I highly recommend this med spa for high-quality care and natural-looking results. I drove from DC to VA for an appointment, prepared, had filled out all the necessary paperwork online, and was fifteen minutes early. More than happy to wait until my 1:30 appointment time. As I'm sitting in the waiting area, the "nurse" runs out screaming (like an idiot, completely unprofessional manner). "I'm accepted! I'm accepted" and flings herself onto the back of the receptionist. Not apologizing for her ridiculous outburst or bothering to acknowledge me, as I raised my hand and waved hello with a smile. So, I sat... and sat, until the reception comes to tell me, "yeah, it will be like another 30 minute wait, as we thought we'd have to numb you, and we don't have to numb you" --- I said OK,,, and waited. That was until I realized, I'm still the ONLY customer in the "spa" and the "nurse" and receptionist were chit-chatting and acting FOOLISH. I'm gonna wait 30 minutes, for what? You to catch-up on gossip? Nah. It's a pass. The place is lowbrow... cheap chairs and just not up to speed, makes me wonder if they bought their lasers, etc. second-hand. Don't waste your time, there are much better reputable, professional options. I would not trust these two with my skin. Stay away.

However, the scheduling process has consistently been a nightmare. My appointment times are almost never what they were originally set as, and there's always some sort of issue or change. Unfortunately, this hasn't just happened at this location -- it's been my experience at almost every LaserAway location I've visited. As a busy professional, time is extremely important to me. Constant scheduling inconsistencies are a major inconvenience. I even attempted to cancel my LaserAway plan because of this ongoing issue, but I wasn't allowed to. A year later, I came here and realized THIS is how things should be done. Front desk explained EVERY SINGLE STEP and provided a long description of what we should feel, expect, and precautions we should take to ensure our face healed properly. Any question we had, our technician answered professionally and also showed compassion in regards of the pain level and discomfort. This is why I waited so long to leave my other review at the other establishment because again, the service was NIGHT & DAY in comparison. Night and day meaning this place is a 5 star and the other is at most a 2 star. I've been coming to this clinic for about two months now, and I only have positive things to say!…read more I had a horrible break out a few months ago, and the products my old dermatologist not only didn't help me, but left me with dry, even more acne prone skin!! I was mortified! But lo and behold, I found this clinic that must have been sent from the heavens, because after being tossed around from doctor to doctor, they're the only ones who have been able to clear my skin! One of the things to keep in mind is that because this clinic is mostly for cosmetic procedures, they do not accept insurance. I must admit, I was a little bit skeptical when they said they don't accept insurance, but I'm so glad I gave them a try or else I would've missed this gem. Every penny I paid had been worth it. I was assessed by Dr. Hayre (the dermatologist), and she prescribed me some topicals as well as an oral medication. She also recommended I do isolaz once a week, which I have been doing regularly. Ratana does my isolaz treatments each week, and she is fantastic! I always look forward to the appointments with her, she's so fun to talk to and is super gentle with the treatment and the extractions (which usually hurt so bad!!). I also have to thank them for being so accommodating toward me. My job is very hectic and sometimes I end up having to stay longer than expected, which makes it hard for me to make it to appointments on time sometimes. Every time this has happened the front desk has been nothing but patient and work hard to make sure that I can make it. They're amazing! Bottom line: if you want amazing skin, COME HERE!

Was offered appointment on Wed. morning - pay $125 for consult, of which only $50 can go for a skin product or procedure; told maybe a procedure could even be done same day. Okay! ready for that with some questions. Showed up early to fill out paperwork and pay, credit card in hand, & had emailed them ahead (now they are claiming they notified me ahead of time that doc. was not in on Weds., but then then their internet was down yeah) only to be told doc. is never in on Wednesdays. Well, then why was i offered that appt. on Wed. morning? Total BS. Receptionist is having is conversation in back room in Spanish. Receptionist looks a lot like the on-line photo of the doc. Just say'n. Total BS. Something fishy going on. Hay, I'm in a business where clients are "no shows", so I totally get it, but do you really think I am confident in these people sticking needles into my face?
