    Chai latte

What a lovely place to kick back for a great chai latte. Bohemian decor with college vibes.

Came in for an iced dirty chai based on my friend's recommendation. I really enjoyed the iced dirty chai and it was quite strong too which I liked. They were pretty quick with ordering and getting my drink too. Remedy seems like a popular spot too for getting fast casual Indian food. If you're in the area and looking for something quick, I would recommend going!

Remedy on Whyte is one of my favourite cafes in the city! It has a vibrant and cozy vibe. There are always people doing work/studying at the cafe. Staff are always friendly. I ordered the Kashmir milkshake. It was delicious! Super flavourful with a nice kick of spice! Very creamy and smooth. It has no caffeine too which is a bonus if you're wanting a late night drink!! I don't have pictures but the butter chicken here is absolutely amazing!! Must try for sure!

I have been here many times, and will continue. The staff is helpful and polite. This is a great place for a Chai and some gluten free snacks; or even a vegan friendly meal; whichever I have chosen, the food has been good every time I have eaten here in the past. The chia and snacks today didn't disappoint.

Oh this is the best chaï spot! So sad we don't have one in Calgary as well. Anytime I'm in Edmonton I make sure to drop by and get an iced Kashmiri chaï with almond milk. Their cakes and vegan food are also delicious! I had once their vegan butter setan which was awesome.

Loved this cafe during my quick stay in Edmonton! From my understanding, Remedy is a chain of cafes around Edmonton and this particular location is their newest. Lucky for me, it was located right across from my hotel. Since I love checking out local cafes in whichever city I'm visiting, I popped in here. Remedy boasts some Indian and South Asian inspiration in the decor and in their menu, which I found to be really interesting. My work pal and I posted up here for a few hours to get some work done. Since we were here for a long time, it means that their wifi was fantastic and strong and held up for as long as we needed it. This is always one of my number one things I check for cafes since my job is 80% depending on a strong wifi connection. Moving on, we tried a few things from their menu during our long stay here: + Samosas + Butter Chicken Wrap + Another wrap I can't remember + Ginger Chai Latte + Vanilla almond Milk latte + Vanilla Chai Latte Everything we had was delicious. The wrap was very filling and didn't weigh us down. My personal favourite was the ginger chai. Even though my work pal was the one who got it, the sips I did have we're delicious and left me wanting more. If you're looking for a unique drink that Remedy specializes in... get the ginger chai! The cafe was very spacious with plenty of tables, chairs, nooks and crannies for people to post up with a friend or to get some work done. Plenty of fun and beautiful decor as well. If I lived in Edmonton, I'd be a regular at any one of the Remedy cafes. I'm sure of it.

So many bathrooms. Let's stay classy edmonton and NOT vandalize the life out of these ones.

New, huge, beautiful, and so comfortable:) Menu cheat sheet: Chana = chickpea Tandoori = spice (rub on the chicken) Chutney = call it an Indian jam?.. Tamarind = sweet sauce Aloo = potato Keema = minced meat Gobi = cauliflower Sabji = vegetable Masala = Indian spice mix Palak = puréed spinach curry Paneer = cheese Dahl = split pea soup Ramja = red kidney bean curry This looks like the biggest Remedy yet. Ready for lots of studying, catching up with friends, and awkward first dates. I haven't had anything from the menu that I don't like. If I'm only snacky I get the chai & 2 samosas. Otherwise any of their wraps or dishes are great bets. Don't worry the Curry's are not spicy. They have gluten free & vegan options for most things too. Remedy is part of the culture of Edmonton. Everyone must visit at least once. Or if you're like me hundreds of time over decades..

Our office ended up getting remedy brought to us by a pharmaceutical rep. She brought butter chicken wraps and another wrap with chicken, peppers, potatoes, and a yellow sauce. Oh my god! I always hear amazing things about this place but the wraps were unbelievable. This will be a new favourite for sure! The sauces that came with the wraps were to die for. I can't wait to go on my own and try more of their menu!

I loved my Red Curry Laksa. It was fresh and rich. Loved the red coconut curry sauce. The seafood was a decent portion. My friend liked her falafal but it definately wasn't the best she has had and was eyeing up my curry. Service was OK. This will be a very popular place for the Whyte Avenue crowd as there are so many options available depending on which floor you enter. We were on the second floor today for brunch but the first floor, which has a similar look and feel, has a Mexican menu. It opens for lunch at 11:30am. It's a unique concept for Edmonton. The server said that they've opened similar restaurants in larger cities like Toronto but Edmonton is their first venture into a "smaller market". The brunch menu was interesting with some unique features and some typical offerings. I had the Pork Bennie, for $18.00 in 2024. The prices are quite reasonable for the type and quantity of the food. My bennie was good. My only criticism is that a special house ketchup would have been a nice touch. The service was excellent and we had a nice view of Gateway Blvd out the window. The coffee includes endless refills which is good because the cups were not very large. I'm sure the vibe is much different for dinner than brunch, but based on our experience, I'll definitely return.

My wife and I both ordered the Chandru Special for $17.50. It's a crepe with bacon and eggs inside plus some cheese slices melted on top. There was a side of fresh fruit. The presentation was somewhat lacking as the cheese slices made it look like something you find at your children's birthday party. The dish definitely needed some sauce to help it down. At least the fruit was good. Our server was very skilled at tunnel vision as she didn't see us even when walking right by our table. Eventually we caught her and got a refill for our coffee. She was pleasent enough when she arrived but definitely didn't want to do refills. On a more positive note, my friend ordered an omelet which came with potatoes that looked like thick potato chips. They looked good and he liked them. If I return it will be because I am in the area and can't find a better place. In other words, three stars out of five.

The walls and ceiling are covered in memorabilia, concert banners and what not. The place was absolutely hopping at 12:45 PM, but we were sat in a booth right away. Waters dropped moments later, asked if we needed coffee, tea or whatever else you wanted to drink. Our server was fantastic, explaining and educating us as we were first timers. The food came out piping hot very quickly and our tea ordered after the food was dropped came in a large teapot and hot just like at home.
