Came here for a lunch with work and it was amazing. The service was really good and they were really accommodating. The menu was awesome too, I liked the different choices you could choose from, depending on your mood. Appetizers were really good, desserts looked to die for. If I lived over here I'd come back, but I'd definitely recommend.
Tried coming last visit to Vegas and the ovens were out. Came on Friday night and Tricia was are server, she was amazing, great customer service, friendly inviting great recommendations. Wings were delicious flavorful and crispy. Pizza was really good we liked their sauce. They make a homemade Bleu chs dressing people liked (I'm a ranch fan). We did a family deal. Another guy with short white/blonde hair was good as well always checking in on us, didn't catch his name though. Their employees worked well together to make people happy. Place was packed had lots of TVs to watch sporting events and cool enough inside to beat the heat. Saw a lot of big parties coming in and out. Definitely come back again and especially if she is our server. Great wings and pizza and great service.
Great vibe as soon as you walk in. Big seating area, nice bar seats available, lots of TVs. The service was super friendly. Everyone answered our questions and gave us their favorite wings as a suggestion. The food was amazing. Wings were crispy, flavorful. Homemade blue cheese is the best I've had. The cowboy bites with the chipotle ranch were a nice start.
Yoooooooooooooooooo. The search for THE GOAT wings in vegas are OVER. This is HANDS DOWN the best wings in town, but, we went with a veteran who knew exactly how to order it to make sure it was gooood. We got the family combo which came with 5 lbs of wings and a 1 topping pizza. The bbq double fried - 4/5 (next time would try it with single bake) Medium base, double baked, Lemon pepper finish- 4/5 Suicide base, double baked, tossed in garlic Parmesan - 10/5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Butter toffee cake- 4/5 Im usually a lemon pepper or buffalo medium/hot fan, so the "suicide with garlic Parmesan" was the custom order our friend did and was MIND BLOWINGLY ADDICTIVE GOOOOOD. What they do is they have a base seasoning, then they can also toss it in a second sauce after the second fry. The "suicide" sounded so deadly, but wasn't spicy at all. The heat was just about average. The garlic Parmesan sauce is SO GOOD I Swear they put something in there that gets you SO HOOKED, we went back several days later just to get 3 lbs of this particular flavor and finished it between 2 of us. Fried mushrooms - 3/5 (it's a bit over fried IMHO, but I loved the sauce) Oh, and they make their blue cheese sauce in house.
In the area, came for lunch. Levi was my server and he was a very friendly and helpful young man. Who by the way has no idea what gyro meat is. Stop it!! I know they don't offer gyro meat but I always ask if they offer it with their Greek salad....it's just a thing. Anyway, I settled on the mushroom burger, fries, and a salad. All were delicious. What else can I say but I left full and satisfied.
I came in first time, wanted to visit here for a bit, I learned its a locals favorite recently. Had a few ice cold beers off tap, watched some sports and left. Staff was vocal, communicative and a lot of locals frequent. Has a "Shenanigans" vibe like the "Waiting" movie but more chill. Lots of sports fabs come here, Baseball heavy it seems but I bet the football crowd is heavy as well. They adamantly tried to help me find my game, genuinely, but were very chill with attentiveness and leaving me alone. I feel like the bartenders are well versed and skilled bc thats not trainable. Now I want ti try some mixed drinks to see their knowledge

The Food: -Pepperoni Pizza: 5/5. Perfectly doughy, not too thick, and loaded with cheese. -Hot Wings: 4/5. Great heat and plenty of sauce, though the meat itself was a tad dry. -Butter Toffee Cake: 5/5. The absolute star. It has a warm, cornbread-like texture that pairs perfectly with the ice cream. One of the best desserts in Vegas! The Vibe: The service is casual and the atmosphere is electric during a close game. Just a heads-up: pricing on drinks and desserts isn't always clear on the menu, so the bill might have a few surprises. Overall, a top-tier local spot to watch sports with friends!
Two times a charm for this spot. Came with my sons and a longtime friend, we ordered like we were going to war. Family meal with 5lbs of wings each of the pound sauced differently, a 1 topping 16" pizza and a very large Caesar salad. Additionally, we ordered a chicken parm sandwich, a burger with fries, a pastrami sandwich with onion rings, some more wings and a couple of pepperoni pizza slices. My sons were raving about the wings. Everyone was very happy with their food as well. Honestly there was nothing we didn't like. Solid food choices. Great service in a solid sports bar.

I had heard about Johnny Mac's from just about the moment I moved to Las Vegas. I had heard they had the best wings in town, as well as really amazing pizza. I don't know why it took me a year to get there, but I am so glad that I did! Located in a shopping center, it's really easy to find since there is a giant eliminated sign! With plenty of parking, you would be hard-pressed to not find a place to park. Exterior is warm and inviting, and they even have outside seating. Upon walking in the first thing you are greeted with is a large display case with the most amazing looking cheesecakes I have ever seen. Now. I did not try any, as I was on a mission to try the wings. But next time I go, you can be sure I am going to have a slice! The place definitely has a sports bar vibe, as well as a hint of Irish pub. Plenty of big screen TVs, and an assortment of gaming consoles around the bar. Plenty of alcohol options, including some very nice top shelf liquor. I was seated at a bar side high top I have to say, my dining experience was enhanced by a great, friendly, and helpful wait staff. My first time, I knew I was going to have the wings but was not sure what topping to get. The server told me that the most popular was to get the wings done in the medium sauce, then baked in the pizza oven, then tossed in the garlic parm. OMG! She was absolutely correct! But I'll get to that in a minute. Since it was half off Pizza day, I ordered a small pepperoni pizza, and a pound of wings, along with a black and tan. Tan. Did not have to wait very long for my food at all, which was a bit surprising because they do make it fresh. The pizza was really really good. Now mind you, I am a fan of thin crust pizza, and this was about an average crust. I would have liked it a little thinner but hey I would like me a little thinner too. The pepperoni was amazing and their sauce is on point! Lots of cheese pole, and it was super tasty. Now let's talk about wings. I had heard about these wings for a long time, so I knew I had to have them. I have to tell you I think these were the absolute best wings I have ever had. My only complaint was I would have liked them a little more crispy, so next time I'm going to order them well done or fried hard as some folks say. The combination of the medium sauce and the garlic parm is absolutely out of this world! The cost for the wings is $18 for a pound, which translate to seven wings.. we're talking flats and drums. Is it pricey? Yes, it is.. probably the most I have ever spent on an order of wings. The real question is, is it worth it? Absolutely 100% worth every penny! They never go on sale, nor do they need to. Off the charts! Bottom line? I will definitely be coming back as a regular. If you're looking for an amazing experience. Getting great pizza and wings that will change your life, you can do no better than Johnny Mac's.
The hype is real, Johnny Mac's has the best wings in Nevada. Perfectly crispy and juicy cooked through and the perfect size topped with just the right amount of sauce; these wings are unlike any other place in Nevada. The service is quick and everyone's friendly and there's plenty of seating inside so waiting isn't usually an issue, highly recommend.
In my opinion this is burnt. This is a picture of the left overs because my husband thinks this is fine but I dont. He gets all the left overs this way.
This has been on my list for a hot minute. Finally made it out there today to meet up with friends. Happy hour draft beer prices are actually really good. I ordered their smash burger and it didn't disappoint. Burger was prepared well and the burger patties just superb! It all just blended well and the french fries kinda basic but well cooked. It was part of their Friday special for only $14.95. What a deal. I live in Summerlin so to get there is a drive but it was well worth it. The service was good and the vibe is cool. I'll definitely return again.

Johnny Macs. Always a staple in Henderson! This location is always very busy but we only waited about 15 minutes and got right in. We decided on the small Henderson special, 1 pizza with wings and we added on fried pickles. Pickles were great. Pizza in my honest opinion was a little doughy, I ended up eating the topping off instead. Couldn't really tell the difference between the double baked and Normal wings, and I love my wings crispy so kind of disappointing. Our server was on top of it and very attentive. Honestly I prefer the water street location as they have the sweet chili flavor for wings that are the best! read more

All right, so I guess I'm gonna go against the grain a little bit here. I know this place has been a Henderson staple for years and years and years and they always win the wing contest annually I believe but I have to say I don't know the price and the value didn't line up for me. we had a large party we were celebrating somebody's birthday so half a pound of wings is $19. That is really steep for me but of course if the the product matches the price doesn't matter so the waiter recommended that I ordered a little bit more spicy because his recommendation but unfortunately that wasn't a good idea for me and we did the double baked which they toss it in the sauce and then they re-bake it or fry it and then they add another layer of seasoning. I did the buffalo. with the lemon pepper so when they came they were too spicy so I had to send them back and when I did, they brought them back oh my God it was so salty. I couldn't eat it so when I got home, I rinse them off, but the wings were good. They're fairly large, not dry juicy I just don't see the value in the price just my personal opinion. unfortunately, I was completely full. I don't eat large meals. I wasn't able to order the dessert. The desserts looked amazing somebody at our table also got a pizza looked decent. The service was prompt, and the food came out fairly quickly, which was nice. Yeah I wouldn't need to return to this place unless I was invited to a special occasion again. Its was busy on a Monday night so apparently they are doing something right..... 19$ for 9 wings over 2 dollars per wing sorry that's to expensive for me bon appétit read more
Great food with superb service!! This is my second review for Johnny Mac's. I feel I just need to let people know how great this place is and share what is so awesome!! My grandson came for a visit and remembered coming here before. Mind you, he is five years old and thinks he has become a food connoisseur. We ordered a half meat lovers and half pepperoni pizza. His comments are: the pepperoni is baked perfect with a little crunch on the ends, love the cheese and the bread (dough) is crunchy, not soggy. I asked how he would rate his pizza. He gave me Thumbs Up!! Be sure to come early on Wednesday to avoid the dinner crowd, as it's half price pizza, eat in only. Be to save room for a delicious Cannoli or any other finely crafted dessert, you will not be disappointed. read more

As an Upstate NY native living in Las Vegas, Johnny Mac's hits on all levels. Amazing wings, appetizers and cold beer are expected and Johnny Mac's delivers. The wings are the best I've had in Vegas so far. They are super crispy, flavorful and you can toss them however you want. We always do the 'double baked' with half garlic parm half medium. The location is in an unassuming strip mall with Johnny Mac's right in the middle. It is your typical American pub atmosphere on the inside with big comfy tables, chairs and booths. I can't say enough good things about the service at this place. Every time we have come it has been exceptional. read more

Decided to go here instead of their Tavern (our usual) to try their Wednesday Special-1/2 off pizzas. They were packed & it was only 4:30! Got seated right away & all the servers were very attentive, checking to see if our drinks were ok, how was the food, even packed our pizzas for us...great service! The place is your typical sports bar atmosphere...loud & fun! The pizzas were fantastic! We'll be back! read more

You don't have to look at all the NY sports memorabilia on the wall to know the owners are from NY/Buffalo. These are true Buffalo wings, and I've made my pilgrimage to the Mecca of wings in Buffalo NY to partake of the spicy provisions. We got the deal with 5 orders of wings and a pizza. Wouldn't exactly recommend coming for just the pizza but it's a good bonus with the wing deal. The wings were crunchy, yet wet. The best way for a wing to be. Easily best wings in Vegas. Food also came out super quick. Great service. read more

Visited Johnny Mac's for St. Patrick's Day and it was honestly the perfect decision! They had a great Irish menu, I had the Shepard's Pie and it was delicious, great portion for lunch too! We also ordered some specialty green cocktails that were so yummy! Despite it being a holiday, we had to order some of the classics such as the pizza and wings which never disappoint! The staff is also super friendly and the ambiance is very lively. This is the perfect spot to stop for some comfort food in Henderson. read more

Since I'm new to Vegas, I've been wondering where the good pizza was so someone had told me about Johny Mac so I gave it a chance. At first I called the location on Water Street and they told me they didn't have the type of pizza I was looking for so I called the one on Boulder Highway. They did have what I was looking for. I ended up getting the Johny Mac special. That's the pizza with pepperoni, sausage, bell peppers, red onions, and olives, and even offer it on thin crust which I like. Once I ordered it, I had it over to pick it up. It was easy to get there plenty of parking in the parking lot and it was a bustling crowd when I walked in. It is a sports bar so there was lots of memorabilia on the walls, TV screens, and the place was really jumping, and as a matter fact, my pizza was ready . They gave me a few paper plates and some napkins and I was off. Once I got to my car, I took a slice out, put it on a plate secured the rest of the pie and Doug in . I must say it was good. I ate more than half the pie by myself and I froze the last few pieces which I plan to enjoy when I get back. I would highly recommend Johny Mac on Boulder Highway for the pizza and the ambience . read more

Just moved to the area a month ago and live about a 2 minute walk away from the water street location. Absolute hands down the best wings I ever had. Double baked hot wings. I was told the boulder location was better than that so I tried them today. Double baked, hot, garlic parm. Absolutely disgusting. Dry, not hot, the fries were cold. No sauce. I'll share a picture of them and I'll show a picture from water street. Guess which is which. If anyone reads this, whoever cooked them today should be spoken to about putting quality out and if you mess up, it's ok, fix it. For $20 to get 7 small wings and cold fries, I'll stick to water street if I ever get the urge again. read more

Stopped in on our visit to Henderson, my GODson raved about this place. Nice loud music going on. Place was pretty hopping for a Wednesday. We ordered 2 pizzas, 1 large, half cheese/ pepperoni and a small olives and sausage. Oh, pickles fries and a pound of chicken wings with fries. I must say the pizza was pretty good in the desert! The fried pickled were delicious! The chicken wings had a spicy kick which were darn good. It's not cheap but it is pretty good. Guess we ordered alot!! Service was good, friendly staff, but very busy, atmosphere was loud but do-able, kinda chili, and food was good. Will definitely come back next time I visit.. read more

Love this place Family from Buffalo so this is our go to spot usually Wings, salad, + pizza always good That's what we always order & it never disappoints Their blue cheese is GREATTT There's Usually a wait, so be prepared esp on the weekends & game days. Hockey, basketball, college football, & football be prepared + get their early Large bar, with a large takeout area Staff is usually efficient and quick Giving it 4 stars only because of how pricey it is Tip: military gets 20% off They usually have a 2 slice pizza for $7.99 which is so damn good & a great value Oh ALSO just a cool little fact I learned: everytime we eat their wings it always taste so clean, never tastes like dirty oil so I asked the owners son what oil do they use?!!!!! The staff and service was outstanding. From the greeter to the host to the servers, they were ALL amazing and very friendly! All helped each other as a team. Please don't change and thank you! We ordered the meat lovers pizza. The flavor was great but if I'm being honest the dough could use a little more cooking or thinner for a little more crispness. Maybe it what we ordered but it was still good. We ordered wings - watermelon bbq and spicy Parmesan. Could not taste watermelon and it tasted like a Smokey bbq. The spicy Parmesan was one of my top 5 flavors of all time - loved it! Next time I will ordered them cooked a couple minutes longer cuz once tossed the skin softens up a little bit. Overall still great wings! Atmosphere was amazing. They had tons of huge TVs everywhere, spots memorabilia, huge place, slot machines and lots of desserts. Where do I even start on this treasure? A year and a half ago I moved to Henderson and I drove down Boulder highway and I see a restaurant with a shamrock and a big sign that say Johnny Mac's. I immediately busted a U-turn and ended up inside. This was on a Wednesday at lunch time and I walked out with the leftovers of a half price pizza. That Friday I ended up back in after a rough work week and just enjoyed the atmosphere of a lively bar that never seemed to be empty. That day I heard mention of breakfast and golf on Sunday. I showed up on Sunday and I sat at the bar. I wasn't there but ten minutes before Brian, a bar regular, turned to me and asked if I was hungry. I was offered biscuits and gravy, and other options for breakfast. I was completely unaware that this was off menu and not a normal offering. I obliged and had some breakfast and made a new friend. The next part was the astounding piece. I became family. I joined pick em leagues, I get called out by name, the owner shakes my hand every time I walk in. This place is a gem and I couldn't be happier to have come across such an amazing place. The wings are the best not only in Las Vegas area but prolly on the whole west coast. I recommend the double baked. Go medium retossed in garlic parm. The ravioli in vodka sauce is a chef's kiss. The bartenders and serving staff have become great friends. Luke, and Matt are the legacy of Johnny McGinty and they are rockstars. Kaya, Gemma, the Farrington brothers (Aaron and Austin) are phenomenal. We came here last Saturday after our soccer team won a game. We didn't have reservations, and didn't call ahead, and the restaurant was very accommodating and provided fast seating, quick ordering and efficient food delivery. There weren't any complaints about separate checks and it was emphasized several times that gratuity was included. Oh, and if it matters, the food was great! Also, there were 30 of us. This is a nice sports bar in the Henderson area with plenty of tvs, bars, and tables. There is a dessert showcase as soon as you walk inside which is very enticing. The food is good, but extremely pricey...14 wings and a pizza set us back $52. We had water to drink, so minus one star because of the price. Service was top notch, however! read more

The only issue with Johnny Mac's is that when I carry out, I don't always have beer at home to accompany their great food. You call ahead for your order, and typically no matter how large it is, it's ready within 25 minutes. I have ordered twice in the past week, and each time was great! I have already told my husband he owes me a date night where I can enjoy their pizza and wings with their beer selections. The first time we ordered just two orders of their 5-pound wings, all mild. They were ready as promised, 25 minutes. The pickup staff included ranch, napkins and poked holes in our boxes so our wings could breathe and not get too soggy I assume. We didn't think much of it, but the wings were great. The only issue was that since they were sitting in the box for a bit, the mild sauce sort of drained to the bottom with the butter they mixed it with. It wasn't a big deal, and we still enjoyed the wings. Their ranch is the best, and it pairs perfectly with the wings. The next time we did another pickup for two Henderson specials, one pepperoni and mild wings, and one cheese pizza with bbq wings. We picked up the food, and again, fresh. The bbq wings were more of my favorite than the mild, but the mild still hit the spot! The pizza was great, it was fresh, nice crust, and great portions. We also tried the meatball sub since the food was for a get together we were going to have at home for about 30 minutes later. That wasn't too bad, I think the fries could have been better, but they were crispy and warm even after sitting in the to go container for a while. The sauce on the meatballs is great! Not sure if the meatballs are homemade or not, but I wasn't left upset after eating it. Overall, the price for the food you get is an amazing deal. The food is fresh, tasty, and even if they're busy, they constantly check on you to make sure you're doing okay, or let you know your order is coming up soon. The restaurant is always busy though, so bring patience! I will be back for the wings for sure, and maybe some other menu items! read more

Do you take reservations?
I just called and tried to make a reservation. The girl that answered said that they do not do reservations. I'm assuming the previous answer is not longer up to date.
Is their a smoke free section for dining?
No smoking inside at all. It's a open area so smoking is only permitted outside.
Do you have Monday night football specials?
We have different Specials everyday of the week. Check out the website at johnnymacswings.com. We have drinks specials Monday - Friday 3pm to 6pm and special drink pricing during games. Hope to see you!
Does anybody ever win on the poker/keno machines? I've been here a few times, and its been one losing hand after another. Not even enough to make a $20 last more than 10 minutes. Is this why I never see pictures of jackpot wins?
