The pedicure began nicely but the person doing it for me had issues with communicating... I asked for a colour and it seemed they were out of it in regular polish. No one explained this to me and instead just replaced it with something else with no notifcation.... I specifically asked before continuing with my manicure if the shop had silver heart gems to achieve a look I showed in a photo. I was given an okay. When it came time I was told no by another person (I believe it was amber who I requested originally in my appt but did not get) and then tried to get me to accept a drawn heart even tho that is not what I wanted... after trying to make me accept painted heart and the woman continually scolded the man who was orignally working on me (clearly someone new? Or inexperienced?) Which made me pretty uncomfortable in its own right... they finally retrieved their various gems and such to show me... I settled because I was at the point i had no choice but to take it or leave with nothing... I dont even feel.happy taking photos of my nails... theyre a mess... paint on my skin... uneven cut... and I was knicked and caused bleeding on 3 different fingers in the process... you can see it on 2 of the 3. The 3rd is covered by the polish that was painted onto my skin and it is hurting me trying to peel it off... This cost $120. Though Kieu is still getting established, the quality of her work remains A1! And as a matter of fact, she's gotten some cool gadgets in her new space that make removing old polish much easier, which shortens and improves the overall process. Not to mention Kieu remains a very sweet and sensitive person that I don't mind being in a small space with for sometimes up to 1.5 hours. Happy to see her growing and thriving!

Actually just left here a few minutes ago, and i have to say that was the roughest, most rushed,…read moreand slightly painful pedicure i've ever gotten. the nail tech didn't even ask me what length or shape i wanted my toe nails, just immediately started cutting. and she cut my cuticles way too low to the point where my big toes were in pain. there was barely any interaction between us, as she chatted with her friend the whole time. her friend (another worker who was doing my partners pedicure), didn't say a single word or ask a single thing about her experience/preferences the entire time. the only thing she asked was what color she wanted. on top of that, she put the wrong color on my toes and when i told her it was the wrong color she told me no it was the right one. and then hastily painted the CORRECT color on top. Even after all of this, i still paid the full amount. no complaints about having to pay but geez not even a consolation or apology! NEVER AGAIN :)

A deposit is required and they're not very flexible, even if seemingly empty/not overbooked. If you're worried about cutting it close to your appointment time (weather, traffic, etc.) I wouldn't recommend, since they weren't accommodating. I had to haggle over my appointment time and still was charged over and above my booking (basically lost my deposit) for being slightly late due to rainy weather.
