When you go to Merrifield, you will be bathed in the amazing living variety that can be brought to your home, for indoors and outdoors. The selection is beyond anything I've ever seen, and the staff clearly loves the business. You can browse hundreds of plant and flower options indoors And they also have an amazing selection of patio adornments. The best was my experience today. I needed a garden hose adapter. Sounds simple enough, but this is so uncommon that all of the local chains didn't have anything, and one young man in an orange apron Ron suggested I just get it on Amazon. I stopped here at Merrifield, and they also did not have it in stock. But the gentleman at the counter Suggested that he'd be happy to make one for me if I wouldn't mind waiting for a few minutes. And he jumped into action, grabbing the hose and fittings that he needed and manufactured what I needed for me on the spot. That his old-fashioned service deserves a lot more than just five stars. Please bring them your business!

I've heard great things about Merrifield and though I've visited before, I hadn't bought anything. I took some pics of my lawn, some of the current grass/weeds/plants growing and went to their help desk. It was mid-week, so not too busy. Craig was working the desk and so I don't bury the lead... he was AMAZING. I explained what I was trying to do, that I really knew nothing, and though I had done a little research, I didn't want to trust everything I had read/watched. He walked me through my options. I don't care much about what is growing, just that we have good coverage. Clover was something I was interested in. He explained the clover options as well as some low-maintenance grass options. He even spent a lot of time helping me understand about aerating since it was something I wanted to know more about. I decided to go with grass and clover, hoping a mix might balance between lawn and something for the pollinators. As the spots were relatively small, he said I could just hand spread, especially with the clover seeds being so tiny. While prices are a little higher than the big box stores, looking into this, the products seem to be of a higher quality. Luckily my issue was sort of small to start with so I felt it was a good investment.

They said they would call me back with an answer. Nobody called back. That afternoon I called a third time to explain I had taken off work to coordinate. They couldn't tell me what was going on. I asked to speak to someone in charge. They transferred me to an unnamed voicemail. Nobody ever called. No mulch was ever delivered. I asked to cancel the order, but they didn't refund the payment. I had to call my bank to reverse the charge.

Will never do business with JK landscape supply again…read more I order 25 cubic yards of Cedar mulch. After they delivered the mulch, my contractors arrived the next day. My contractors who lay mulch for living told me there is no way that's 25 cubic yards of mulch. It's about 10 yards short, that's $400 short. I ordered enough mulch to have 3 inches mulch to cover the garden beds, I ended up with covering the garden beds for like less than 2 inches of mulch. I called JK landscape about the problem, they insisted that they weighed and measured the mulch before shipping. But there is no way for me to argue with them as I can't prove it's 10 yards short. They give a $75 refund for shipping. But I will not order anything from this place in the future.

The pieces were smaller and easier to handle than I'm used to as well. It lights easily and burns very clean. This is an EXCELLENT product. My only problem with it is that it comes at a very premium price, at least 3 times what I normally pay for firewood. Also, the pieces were a couple of inches too short for my racks, which are designed for 18" logs. If you're a firewood connoisseur, this is the place to get your wood.
