Market: The Death By Chocolate fudge was yummy! Lots of fun things to look at. All the staff members we came across were really nice! Amusement Center: Totally worth the money we spent and we were only able to be there for a couple hours. Some rides were closed, but everything that was open was enough to keep our kids entertained for those two hours. Most of the operators were younger, but 99% of our interactions were very positive... they were kind, courteous and were super sweet to our kids. It's a beautiful place to explore as well. The entrance fee covers all the rides! Note: Our teenager was a good sport, but except for the barn, it is mostly geared toward smaller children. I highly suggest checking it out. We appreciated the encouragement of pandemic precautions; I think everyone who worked there wore a mask (and wore it properly). Please be kind and considerate when visiting. We noticed a lot of people acting very entitled and unthoughtful. We felt bad for everyone working and we were impressed at how cheerful they still were towards us. This place is a toddler's dream! Plan a day for activities. We went on a weekday to avoid lines and to make sure we made it for berry picking! It's raspberry season so we got there very early to pick raspberries and beat the heat. After an hour of wandering the grounds and gathering a couple pounds of raspberries we put our fruits in a cold ice chest in the car and headed to the fair! This place is like a farm fair where there are no scrips and instead a flat fee of $18/person. The pony ride is definitely for little ones over 2 years old and is additional $5 which is totally worth the price. It was such a beautiful day and there were no lines and no wait. Our toddler rode every ride from the super slide, mini canoe, Ferris wheel, roller coaster, merry go round and much more! This place is a little ones dream and only hunger drove him away to the restaurant outside the fair ground. The food in the restaurant and decently priced. We also purchased baked goods and caramel corn in the store to have a treat on the way home. Remlinger Farm is definitely worth the visit and time. We will return again for pumpkin season! read more

VERY fun for the family. I recommend going during weekdays. Much quieter and they were so nice and let us go on rides multiple times. Jakob was the absolute BEST! So good to our family. He arranged for us to get a family photo by the pumpkins and it was just the cutest. He's a awesome employee, Remlinger! We liked the train ride and the cute Laura Ingalls Wilder lady who talked about the 1800s. The rides were perfect for our little age group. Remlinger Farms is so fun! There are a boatload of theme park rides to choose from, including a bouncy house and a mini roller coaster! During Halloween time, you can even pick pumpkins in the pumpkin patch! The park is decorated with scarecrows as well, and it's just a really fun time! The food is great as well! read more

We recently discovered this place and were so impressed by it! We went to the family fun center for a few hours and we had a blast. I was surprised by the amount of attractions, I had fully expected 3-4 rides, but I think there was close to 10! My son had a blast riding ponies, eating taffy, and riding rides. "Great place for family fun and outdoor adventures." Remlinger Farms is tucked away in the quiet city of Carnation. The 45 minute drive from Seattle was well-worth the journey as you are treated to a scenic view of the Northwest backroads. A large sign greeted us as we approached the strawberry patches. The parking lot is primarily on a grass area and the driveway is all gravel. There is a small stand located before the patches advertising drinks for sale and the price of picked strawberries ($1.50/lb). Wooden baskets were readily available before we entered the patches. We walked through many rows finding small and sweet strawberries. I recommend wearing good outdoor shoes as the ground conditions are dry and dusty. This past weekend was particularly hot and I strongly advise visiting the patches in the morning instead of afternoon. They only accept cash and there are no ATM machines. There was also no water to wash our hands after picking. Overall it was a great experience and fantastic chance to visit the other parts of Washington. read more

This used to be such a special place when I took my niece and nephew here 10 years ago. It seemed less crowded and you could easily get food at the restaurant. They seem to have bitten off more than they can chew with brewery and concerts. People drinking beer and wine at 2 pm with their kids. Felt more like a county fair than a family park. We waited in line for 20 minutes to order then waited 30 -40 more minutes for our buzzer to go off. Went up to inquire on our order and were told that it had not been put in. We were offered refund or wait in queue of seven for 10-15 minutes. We had a child who was hungry so had them do the order. 15 minutes later checked again and the number associated with our order was not our order. They again said we could wait and they would make our food or have a refund. No offer of compensation for now spending 90+ minutes in their restaurant waiting for food instead of being able to enjoy the farm. The staff in the restaurant seemed very young and not very savvy at managing customer service. Other families also had orders missing or messed up. We had to leave as we needed to drive home and left with a child who was crying. I likely will not be back here even though I have had so many fond memories previous to this. read more

We took our Grandson to Remlingers Farms last August. We all had a great time. A nice variety of activities. One employee that really impressed us was a young girl operating one of the rides. Her name was London, I believe. She was so sweet and kind. Very helpful and patient with the children and polite and respectful to adults. We drove by the place and saw they have u-pick pumpkin fields starting on 26th Sept! So we came back that day and picked our own pumpkin for the season! Surprised by how many things they have and how clean (oh yes, that's as clean as it can get!) the place is. They have a supermarket, a park, a food court, a snack place, little train/wagon ride, and ofcourse, a lot of farms for different plants and fruits! OMG I was amazed they have so many choices and so many things for customers to enjoy a full day there! But we didn't plan to stay for long and we just want to get a pumpkin... so we just went to the u-pick pumpkin place and get our middle size pumpkin. They sell pumpkin with sizes. small($4), medium($7) and large($12). We picked our own that we thought is a medium size pumpkin ($7), but ended up they let us have it as a small ($4) pumpkin! :D Wow, that's a great deal! And staffs are friendly and kind! I had a great experience there. Even tho we didn't stay for too long, I liked the environment and their decorations! Such a cool place to visit with kids and the whole family! Remlinger Farms is outstanding for a family outing, a corporate event or just to go pick some berries. Really great service was provided to me while I was looking to throw a party for my staff and I was even offered a free pie of my choosing to tour the facilities. Remlinger has a family park with rides for tots that runs May-October. It includes live entertainment as well and there are two dozen rides geared towards the littles. They have a pumpkin festival September-October, mainly on the weekends. The event staff will create and customize any kind of party, private or corporate, that your heart desires, including catering. There's also a small cafe and bakery, a farmers market and you can pick berries when in season. read more

I brought my kids here last month for the first time and it was great! We went there for the Fun Park. There were tons of things for my 4 year old to do. She went on her first roller coaster ride, which was frightening for her but it was a good starter ride. She also did a pony ride, which was included with admission. There was not much for my 1 year old to do but he was free. He was able to go on some rides like the Ferris wheel and train ride. The staff cleaned the seats after each ride and there were hand washing stations everywhere, so it felt very clean and safe. A lot of areas were closed due to COVID or things not being in season yet. I imagine it being more crowded in the fall during normal years. We hope to go again in the future when things are all setup and my 1 year old is older to appreciate it. read more

We went raspberry picking today in ideal conditions: overcast and 65! Today was only the 3rd day raspberries have been open this season so I wasn't expecting great picking. We managed to get just over 16 pounds in an hour with two people picking to give you an idea of the picking: easy! While the raspberries aren't huge this season, they are very plentiful. Something I noticed while picking berries is that every family we ran into spoke a different language! I just love how food brings people together!! The price was $2.75 a pound, cash only. We owed $45 in the end, more than I had expected, but I can't be mad! Less than half what they charge during the on season for raspberries! Our 16 pounds of berries made 35 cups of jam. Great getaway from the city with little ones 3 - 10 years old would be pretty ideal, although there are other things to enjoy for the ages outside of that. There's plenty to do and see as you wander around the farm, from U-Pick berry fields in summer to pumpkin patches in the fall. There is a large market right at the entrance that sells all sorts of fruits and veggies and preserved jams, milks, etc - typical things from what you'd find at a farm. Nice large restaurant with childrens play area as well right inside the market area. Off the the left would be the gift shop with various childrens toys and home decor and the entrance to the farm itself. There are maybe a dozen rides and activities for little ones to enjoy, spinning dizzy barrels, a high flying pumpkin ride, mini roller coast, a mini carousel and ferris wheel (mini at in 10 feet tall), a train ride around the farm, tricycle course, lazy river (about 50 feet of water) ride - there's a petting zoo, gravel pit with an old small fire truck and school bus and a few tractors as well. Hay maze and jumping pit, horse back rides and even a small section of mini tots to play and ride two or three rides. It can be pricey for a large family to go to as it runs about $18/pp - but there are plenty of deals online/groupon to get discount tickets. I've been here a few times and my daughter loves the rides that we as a family can go on together, the smaller rides, children have to go alone. Pretty decently fun place but it gets old after a while, the rides look pretty run down and they can all use a refresher - but even on busy days it only takes about 20 - 30 minutes to get thru the line so not too bad and the fact that the admission costs covers unlimited rides makes it all worth while to spend a day here. read more

When my daughter was young, 25 years ago, it was so wonderful and peaceful to go to R.F. We would choose our pumpkins in the field and enjoy hot apple cider while roaming the grounds, Yes, there was a fee to enjoy the few rides that were there. Now it's a circus, plain and simple. Loud music, expensive food, outrageous entrance fees, beer garden (really? At a family farm?!). If this is progress, count us out. Went today with a friend and enjoyed a hot cup of coffee. The only other positive was seeing the scarecrows along the fence as you drive in. Nothing is kept simple anymore. It's all about making the big money. So, enjoy if you're into it. I had coworkers tell me this place is amazing, so I took my 4 year old and my 1 year old and brought our out of town visitors including two elementary aged girls. I feel bad for bringing them here on their vacation. It was a weekend and the place was severely under-prepared. We bought pony rides in advance online with our admission. When we arrived, we were told there are no more pony rides available. I dont understand how they don't have a system to prevent walk ins from buying up the reserved pony rides. They don't have a way of refunding on the spot, so I had to email them and hope they refund me. We shall see. They have only one iPad to scan QR codes that they passed from register to register. They should've just had a QR code line for people who pre-purchased. The rides are kiddie rides, nothing amazing. Good for Littles. The lines are deceptively long. They have structures built so you can't see that the line is super long. At the end of the day, I waited in line for 40 minutes for their coaster ride only to be told at 430 that too many people jumped the chain (which I assume was placed sometime after I passed it) and that the park was closed and to leave. Literally a worker was asking people to raise their hands if they hopped the chain and then he yelled at all of us don't lie you all hopped the chain. The workers were literally yelling at people to leave. I didn't want to waste any more of my time arguing so I left. As I was walking out, there was a long line to leave. A kid was playing in the sand. Same worker from before he said we were all lying told the kid and his guardian they have to leave the park is closed. And while I understand the park is closed, there was a line to leave and that area doesn't require a worker to watch over the children. He could've just let the kid play until the line died down. Oh and the food system is all messed up. Cashier did warn that it was a long wait. And it actually came a little sooner than we were warned about except only half our food came. The person then found our receipt and then said that they will get the rest of the food out. So we finished the first half of the food and waited. Over half an hour of us waiting for the rest of our order, we went back and they didn't even have a ticket for it. No one touched it. So instead of waiting who knows how long more we got a refund. Side note: the kids meal chicken tender was actually decent tasting and the fries are good. Complete waste of my time and money. Never going here again. Would not recommend for anyone unless you come here on a cold midweek day maybe (or maybe they'll be even more understaffed, idk). read more

I've finally been able to visit the strawberry and raspberry U-Picks this season. Unfortunately I came tot he strawberry at the end of the season and the fields was pretty much picked out. Had to forage for awhile just to even get 2 lbs or so. Had I gone earlier in the season I'm sure I would've been able to get some good ones. I will say though that I think their strawberry field is smaller than Harvold's. Just came today for the raspberries and they are literally falling off the vine. Raspberries are $2.75/lb and there is just so much out there! Go now and go soon! Raspberries will last throughout the month of July. They're so easy to pick and take fun for the kids. They can easily pick at their own height comfortably. Bring a hat and come with sunscreen. It can get pretty hot just picking in the sun for awhile. Cash only on the fields. Parking is plentiful and free. They provide you with containers to bring the berries home so just bring yourself and your eager fingers! read more

This place is big and it seems there is lots to do. However, I am really disappointed that there is a gated area (with the rides, animals, etc.) that requires full price paid entry for everyone over age 1. I would have loved to watch my nieces enjoy the activities, but absolutely did not want to pay $25 to WATCH kids have fun. Why don't they have an option for people who just want to come in and watch?? A few of us refused to pay entry and instead wandered around the spacious shopping area, got giant caramel apples (which were delish) and sat by the wine bar. We had my daughter's birthday party here. Overall they did a pretty good job, but there were a few things that bothered me. 1. They have you turn in your guest list, food choices, etc., a week early. We ordered gluten free pizza for a couple of our guests. Day of the party, after lunch had already started, they tell me they don't have any gluten free crust. Why am I putting my order in a week early if you're not going to ensure you have the ingredients for the options you provided me with?? 2. We ordered coffee and it wasn't ready until our party room rental was over and all the guests had left. 3. We were told there would be animal themed favor bags for the children. There weren't any. The rest of the day was just fine. The rides are wonderful, the food is good, and the gift shop has lots of good finds. I was very interested in visiting this place for pumpkin picking. I wasn't expecting it to be a whole thematic place! What caught me in the beginning was a big sign of free pumpkins. We already had our own but love to visit patches with kiddo. So of we went. It was a bit crowded but parking wasn't a problem. We followed other people because we didn't know where was the entrance. You enter through a "lobby".we asked and they told us to get into the store and then go to the cashier so we can pay our entrance. No prices shown. Cashier told us it was more than $50 for 2 adults that would be just company for the baby who wasn't going to use any part of the mechanical games. We just looked at each other and thought: "This must be yhe best thematic Farm for that proce!". We entered and noticed some food stores were closed and not offering what we wanted: the apple ice cream vug glass. It was offered at the restaurant. You don't have to pay entrance! Anyway, we were in and wanted to have some extra fin now. We walked around and took a tractor ride, went to see farm animals and wonder if for that price they could offer one Ballon for the kid. Nope. Not even the pumpkins inside. When taking one of those, you'll pay around $5-7 dollars. Free ones are at the pumpkin patch. We didn't go but ask if you get it if paying entrance. It was a very quick visit with baby. I would recommend it if you have bigger children. Otherwise, it will be a great price to pay. read more

Old-school fun for the family. My husband and I have a three year old, and sometimes we lament that we aren't able to raise her (even for one day) in the time that we grew up in (the 80s), and then we discovered Remlinger Farms... it transported us back to the family-owned amusement parks that he and I grew up going to in Michigan. This place is so sweet and so much fun- great toddler rides, farm animals, and a farmer's market (with a microbrewery coming too?!). (Toddlers would love it) So if you don't like a place with excited little kids running around don't rate this place low, this is a place especially made for them. I came to Remlinger Farms with my son and his family and my two granddaughters. The girls are 8 and 4. We enjoyed our time there very much, the girls had a blast and even though it was very busy with lots of families with kids, the lines were super fast. They have shady areas to sit and have a rest and some food, the country store is nice if a bit pricey. I think I would have bought more items, if the price would not have been almost 10 dollars for a jar of jam. At the end of our day we decided to eat in the attached restaurant before heading home. Our day so far had been amazing until we had to order our food. The girl behind the counter was the rudest person I have ever had to deal with. She was insulting and aggressive and down right the worst Food Service worker I ever had to deal with. She shouldn't be in customer service period. Her behavior is a black eye on this lovely place. My daughter in law spoke with the manager and it appeared that we were not the only ones complaining about her. Why they decided to keep her at the counter as the first person you encounter is a mystery. I would have given Remlinger Farms a 5 stars but this left a bad last impression with us. read more

We've been going to Remlinger Farms every year for the past eight years, both at Halloween and to pick berries in the summer. We've typically had a great time and I've included them on a former blog I published as a must visit spot for Seattle area families. Sadly, our experience today was so horrible that I'm not sure if we'll be back. We spent over $80 to get in and could only ride one ride. The wait for the train was about two hours. We gave up. The crowds were overwhelming and the farm did nothing to mitigate it. I heard numerous people making these same comments. As the population of the area has boomed, they have put nothing in place to adjust for it. The farm can clearly only hold a certain number of people at a time, yet they let everyone in. I'm writing this review because I am hoping they take this feedback and do something about it. Possibly timed entry or buy-ahead tickets with a limit on entry? I do really love this little local farm and I hope they find a way to manage crowds in the future. read more

I won't go back. Fall 2022 I went with my family and the first thing we did was the pony ride for our 4 year old. The pony leader took a corner and the saddle slid off the horse and my daughter fell to the ground injuring herself. They admitted they don't secure the saddles to the ponies which is very dangerous. We left right away since my daughter was in pain and they said they were going to refund our tickets and they never did. Didn't take responsibility for what happened. Not a good company read more

You should come here to pick raspberries. Their raspberries are a little more pricier per pound than other places, especially since you pick everything yourself. It was about $2.50 per pound. I was surprised that their raspberries were already dried out and was over ripened. Too bad we didn't come earlier. Make sure you wear comfy shoes too because their farm is filled with a lot of dusty dirt. My shoes were covered in dirt because it comes up as you walk. Also, wear a hat since during the summer months it gets really hot. We stopped by their farm store, which is a total rip off. Their strawberries for a big box was like $21. That is way expensive for strawberries, especially if you're a farm and people have to drive all the way out to get to your store. They had a lot of cute products like jams, sauces, and other home made goods. It is fun to walk around. Their cafe is also really overpriced. A sandwich costs about $11. Hmm.. no thanks, we passed. However, I thought their store/restaurant was very nicely decorated. When you're in there, you feel like its a very quaint space. read more

If you have young kids, you absolutely must take them here! For a reasonable admission price, they can go on unlimited rides in the "country fair" section, and even on beautiful, sunny summer weekends, there are never any long lines. Highlights include pony rides, a mini ferris wheel, a small roller coaster, old-fashioned cars that you can "drive" around a path, and an actual steam engine train that travels around the entire perimeter. Also check out the animal barn with plenty of cute goats, bunnies, etc. that you can feed and pet. The country fair is only open from May through the first week of September, but it opens again briefly in October. Their marketplace has a very good store with lots of fresh produce, a really fun (although fairly pricey) gift store, an excellent play area for kids (near the restrooms), a coffee stand, an ice cream counter, and a country-style restaurant that is always packed. They also have a place where you can pick your own produce, depending on the season. In the summer you can pick strawberries and raspberries. In the fall, they offer a great pumpkin patch. read more
