We don't have many Christmas traditions, but getting our tree from Trinity Tree Farm has become one over the years. We look forward to going the weekend after Thanksgiving. Even though our kids have grown up, they still make time to go with us. The farm is dog-friendly. You can bring them along, too. The tree selection is excellent. They are healthy and come in a wide variety of types and sizes. The staff is very helpful. We always visit the cafe to sip on cider. Their fries are fantastic. I just attended a wedding here and absolutely loved it! The drive up is stressful and back down at night is even more so, but the time spend there was great. It's beautiful both indoor and out. Lots of cute photo opts. The venue looks classy and well taken care of. Nice fire pit area for when the sun goes down. Bathrooms are spacious and clean. We visited this farm hoping for a traditional family experience. While the setting is beautiful, the lack of customer service at the end of the trip left us frustrated and concerned about safety. The Positives: * Tree Quality: The selection here is undeniably high quality. We found a healthy, full Noble that looks wonderful in our home. * The Property: The grounds are very well-maintained. The warming hut is comfortable, and the facilities are cleaner than what you typically find at a tree farm. It is a very picturesque location. The Negatives: * No Assistance with Loading: This was the biggest issue. At every other farm we have visited, the staff assists with baling and securing the tree to the roof. Here, they pointed us to a roll of twine and refused to help. * The Commute: This farm is a significant distance from the city, requiring a long drive on the highway to return home. The Safety Concern: Because the staff refuses to help tie down the trees, you are completely responsible for securing a heavy load for highway travel. Driving 65+ mph down the interstate while worrying if your knots will hold is incredibly stressful. Recommendation: The trees are beautiful, but I can only recommend this place if you own a pickup truck or are highly experienced with securing heavy cargo. If you are not confident in your ability to tie a tree to a roof rack for a long highway drive, I suggest finding a farm that offers full service. read more

Wonderful! Wonderful!! Our daughter got married at The Lodge at Trinity Tree farm. The venue was spectacular! Danielle Hull did an amazing job coordinating the day! She was so helpful and made it so we could enjoy the day without running around. Many great places for photos. I would highly recommend Trinity tree farm as a wedding venue. I worked at a wedding last Friday as a vendor at this venue. It's beautiful! Such an intimate & cozy location surrounded by Christmas trees. Plenty of bathrooms for the guests and provides lawn area, outside area with fireplace, a lodge with beautiful chandeliers & an amazing open lawn area for outdoor ceremony. Love how clean & groomed the outdoor area looked. I only took a star off because I just hated the gravel road climbing to the venue. It was really rough for my car and wish they spent some priority at least for side railings. It is so crazy dark out there at night. Other than that, highly recommend! read more

I have to be honest. I can't believe we left without a tree. We went early morning the Sunday after Christmas and they didn't have any trees. Nothing over 4'. These were all apartments sized trees I also hated that they allow people to reserve the bigger trees. How lame... Unfortunately I wasn't impressed. I also didn't love the windee road up to the tree farm. Just seems like it's an accident waiting to happen especially with all the traffic. For me it's a pass on the Christmas trees. A few years ago this would have been rated higher but we went yesterday for the six year in a row and were shocked by the price increases. They don't have enough of their own trees for u-cut so they bring them in from a farm in OR. We never had a real tree until we moved here six years ago. A few years back we learned not to cut their trees bc they die too quickly and don't last until the end of the year. The trees from OR are absolutely beautiful and last well over a month, but it does lose some of the fun when you don't get to cut down your own tree and are searching through precut trees. Also isn't very eco friendly to get them from out of state. Precovid they used to serve hot chocolate inside along with pay food. Last year and this year they have nothing included in your visit. Last year we got 8-9' Noble Fir tree from OR there and it cost us $120 + tax and netting/shaking. This year the same sized tree cost $155 + tax and netting/shaking. There is a small discount of $5 for cash payment but that is spent on netting and shaking if you want that. It used to be a percent discount of the total bc we always thought- "ok so the discount pays for the tax"... We had other plans for the day and knew we couldn't just shop around at other tree farms to find what we wanted so we begrudgingly paid the $165.15 and promised ourselves we would search elsewhere next year for a Christmas tree. There are other places that are way cheaper and you can cut down a tree and have the real PNW experience. It stinks that Trinity has become more and more greedy with prices. Also it was chaotic yesterday. One lady approached us saying to be sure we followed our tree bc she had sent hers to be netted while she paid for it, then the tree got taken by someone else and they didn't have their tree. There was another guy searching for his paid for and lost tree also. There was an employee commenting how the workers weren't doing it right and there were two tags on one tree when the one should have been given to the customer to pay and track down their tree. Plus, there is some kind of presale where the only good looking trees are sold already. Disorganized, VERY expensive, no perks anymore and lots of people there. Trinity lost our business. read more

It's the most wonderful time of the year!!! Yes friends, it's time to get your Christmas Trees. This Christmas Tree heaven is located in Issaquah, so if you live on the East side of Seattle area it's worth the ride. The trees are gorgeous (a little bit on the pricey side) and fresh. Just for $5 they will shake and net them. So, you can cut it yourself, or you can also pick from a variety of sizes already cut. Prices start more or less at $75 and up. There's a train ride for children $3 per person, a cafeteria where you can also meet Santa!!! And of course they have this little cozy store with ornaments and cookies. (Parents: be prepared to wait on a long line for both, the train and to meet Santa) While you wait your tree to be ready, there's a cute fireplace. Oh! Remember to bring your rain boots because it's too muddy and slippery. read more

We absolutely loved working with Trinity Tree Farm for our wedding. We booked The Lodge for our September event. Throughout the planning process, Danielle and her team were very responsive to answer all of my questions and provided suggestions when necessary. We really enjoyed having everything in one location including the getting ready areas on separate floors. They were very clear on their expectations while being flexible enough to work with us. My only critique was that we could not get access to the space until 11AM so we had to start getting ready at the hotel and then move to the venue. Was not a huge deal but something to work through with other vendors. We also booked our Day of Coordinator through Trinity Tree Farm which was one of our best decisions. Although I could not meet with our coordinator until the week of, she was spot on and jumped right in already knowing most of what I had communicated with others. Our guests loved the grounds of the space and we truly felt like we were tucked away and had it all to ourselves. Extra nice that they have tables and chairs! read more

We picked The Barn @ Trinity Tree Farm as our wedding venue + day of coordination service, and hands down recommend their team for your event. Why? (1) Their booking platform and open houses make it very easy to see the space as many times as you need when planning your event, (2) Everyone we communicated with at various stages was prompt and clear, (3) The venue itself is gorgeous and needs very little decoration/rental which helps with logistics and budget (chairs, tables & arch included), (4) Their catering partner The Tall Chef had delicious food and were very organized, (5) Our day of coordinator Michelle was fantastic. Michelle made everything easy and effortless for us. I'm a total control freak, but was so at ease with Michelle taking our wedding schedule/decoration plan and running with it on the day-of. We went spontaneously. One of the only tree farms you can go to without reservations. We found our tree after 10 minutes or so of looking around. A nice man helped us cut our tree, and staff helped us tie it down. It was a really fun experience. I loved all the dogs and the bonfire. Great vibes and super nice staff. read more

Cute place! It has so much potential too for more growth. It seems like they have a lot of good ideas, with not a ton of follow through as far as ambience goes. The gift shop was a lot of the same stuff (not my style...think shiny and gawdy), but the tree farm itself was pretty great. I only wish that they weren't so expensive. Even for smaller trees they were pretty pricey. And if you didn't get there early enough in the season to cut one down yourself, then you could still pick from their pre-cut trees which were equally as expensive. Everyone working there was plenty friendly though, and we did take home a lovely Christmas tree. read more

Everything ran smoothly, from the before-wedding coordinations to the set-up to the reception. We picked the venue because we could bring our own caterers (we chose 3 different food trucks) as well as bringing our own alcohol. Plus, it's beautiful, inside and out, so our photos turned out lovely. This venue is adorable. I witnessed a friends wedding and the location couldn't be more intimate. You'll travel through a quiet neighborhood before getting to the Tree Farm so mind your speed while driving. The Wedding Venue itself is beautiful! Could not have asked for a better setting. We had the wedding in the Barn at this venue. The setting is romantic and fun all at once. The sad thing about this venue is they do not put any money into the upkeep or to replace broken things. We were told we could use the refrigerator across from the kitchen to store food and ice. The refrigerator doesn't work and the freezer is iffy. The wedding coordinator (works for the venue) knew this and never shared. The food spoiled (wedding party ate leftovers after the ceremony and got sick) and the ice was melted. The wedding Arch needs painted, the entire parking lot fencing needs painted looks terrible! I would say COVID might have been an issue but, it is a very expensive venue so i feel they should have taken the time and bought some paint! This was very disappointing! Paint isn't very expensive! The wedding coordinator (works for venue and you are encouraged to use her in case it rains so someone will move the venue insides) really is rude! The fire pit needed to be lit after dinner for the s'mores. Coordinator came up to me and said "I can't lite it, find a fire specialist that can" walked away. What is that supposed to mean? I had to ask a guest that was in a suit no less! This is her job, not one of the guests! Even though the clean up is very clear in the contract, the coordinator decided it necessary to trick the Flower Girl into clean up during the reception saying it was a competition! So unprofessional! She was extremely rude to the Wedding Party at the end of the evening, stating "make sure you pick up every last thing, I will not help" and many other snarky rude comments. Speaking to adults this way or small children is absolutely unacceptable! I have to say the lack of upkeep and the Coordinator took away from our beautiful day. If you use this venue, use your own Coordinator and make sure to address the broken frig and upkeep before you sign a contract! read more

Not good! We have been coming to this farm for years and this season they opened a week early! Ok so we decided we'll go, (normally we go black Friday morning instead of shopping.) They have pre cut literally everything that isn't very small! Or there were several pre sold trees? So there's a pre sale to the pre sale? Needless to say we walked around and there is nothing to cut. Lots to buy if you want a pre cut but really who goes to a tree farm to get a pre cut tree??? We will be looking for a new farm I guess. Sad because this is a local farm all of our family and friends have went to for a long time. I will be letting everyone know this isn't the fun family adventure spot anymore. :( read more

I went there at Friday evening for a friend's wedding. It's my first time driving to this farm I have to say it's kind of hard to find. The entrance of the farm is hidden inside a residential community, so I had to drive slow and be careful not to miss the entrance. And I'm sure the community is not happy about all the traffic to the farm. The last part of the road was pretty steep and narrow, so watch out when driving at night. The farm itself is pretty nice, seats around 100 guests pretty easy. The building itself and most decorations are classic country, while the modern style torch in front of the main building added a contemporary touch. The building layout was pretty convenient for the weddings, got down stair main hall for the guests, while the side building and upstairs for the privacy of wedding family. Bonfire is a nice feature for summer too. One complain I have is the light for hall, kind of dark for any photography events. I brought in two DSLR with external flash light, and the picture still come out dark. I talked with the designated professional wedding photographer and he felt the same way. read more

This place was literally just a Pumpkin patch. When you go to a pumpkin patch, there are certain additional add ons you expect (maybe a corn maze, convenience store, etc.). None of them can be found here. If the weather is nice outside and you're looking to buy pumpkins ONLY, this place might be the right spot for you. After my visit, part of me wishes I had just gone to QFC and not wasted a 30 minute car drive out. Trinity offered four main activities, two of them reserved for young ones: 1) pumpkin picking, 2) eating, 3) sliding down inflatable slides, and 4) going on a tractor ride. As a kid, even the last two activities would seem underwhelming to me. The inflatable slides are nothing new and the tractor ride was so short and redundant that you wonder why they have it in the first place. Maybe to say they have a tractor ride? At least they aren't charging you for it. The food they were selling was way below mediocre. This was the saddest part of the trip. The most exciting thing about a pumpkin patch (aside from the pumpkins) is the fall food offerings. The food is key to the pumpkin patch experience! It is what makes the experience festive! This place did not deliver. Given the limited menu items, I ordered a hot dog and had a taste of apple cider. The hot dog I received was cold, like someone had just taken out of the refrigerator and microwaved it for 30 seconds. The hotdog had that heated on the outside, still cool on the inside consistency. Sounds delicious right? The apple cider tasted like overly watered down apple juice. Somehow, they managed to make prepackaged apple cider taste worse than usual. Lets end with the positives. The whole experience was free, the surroundings were nice, and I got to tow around a wheelbarrow. Overall, there's nothing really redeeming about Trinity Tree Farm pumpkin patch. Maybe if I had kids, it would have been more fun, but I doubt it. I would have had a better time picking out my pumpkins at QFC. The hotdog and apple cider might have been cheaper too. read more

We visited here today to get a Christmas tree. The selection of u-cut trees was a little disappointing - prices were over $100 for most average sized Nobles we saw. We started looking at the Grand Firs as they were less expensive, but found the vast majority of them to be oddly sparse and/or with a lot of dead needles on the branches halfway in. We did end up with a Grand Fir, but it was as we were walking back to our car to go elsewhere. It looked to be about 7' tall and cost $85. Our toddlers rode the train, which costs $3/rider. The line was pretty long so it took about 5 times of the train going out and coming back before they got to ride. A maximum of 3 adults can ride the train at a time, with only one adult per train car (there are 3 train cars), so adults riding slows the line down some. The train ride itself seemed ok. There is another charge to shake and net the tree ($5). Now that we are on our way home with our tree, it just feels like we have been nickel and dimed a bit. If the trees were truly amazing, I might feel like it is worth it. In any case, we left around 12:15 and there was a line of cars to get in to the parking lot. If you do go, you'll want to go in the morning to avoid even longer lines. All in all, I think we will go elsewhere in the future. The place itself looks nice, so I'm sure it's great for weddings and events, but the whole Christmas tree experience wasn't what I was hoping for. Next year we will go somewhere less polished, but with better trees and smaller prices. read more

A wedding for a weekend in October 2021, was planned and ready to have a good time. The TTF coordinator was NOT offering assistance or willing to help in any way possible. They had a very bad attitude from the get-go. The internet was down and they had no desire to assist or make it better. Their attitude the entire day was not inviting. Never have I been to a wedding venue where the coordinator was unwilling to lend a hand. When we arrived nothing in the main hall was setup for the caterers. We had access at 11 but no one from TTF was there to assist till 2p and the coordinator was non responsive until they arrived. Our coordinators attitude extended to our entire event staff and continued with each interaction. It was an awesome place for a wedding. But having to work with this particular individual makes me want to steer everyone away. read more

Throughout the whole process, Brittny was so helpful in answering my questions and didn't make me feel like a crazy person when I showed up at multiple open houses to plan things out ;) They were actually the only venue we looked at because right when we got there we knew it was the one. Each guest told me they loved the location and the lights made it so dreamy and magical. We had an indoor ceremony and I think it might have even been prettier than outside!! Cute, pretty clean, but lacking selection. Went today (Dec 2, 2018) and left without a tree. We walked all over found nothing. A lot brown making most of the viable tree options a no go for us. There were a lot of trees that looked good but they were either 1) sold 2) not for sale. We made our way to the pre-cut selection and it meh OR $100+. No thanks. I'm happy we passed. I have had the honored to photograph many weddings at both the BARN and the LODGE at Trinty Tree Farm and I just had to say how much I enjoy photographing at both of these locations. They both bring a little bit of the PNW feel but also add the elegance, rustic and romance depending on your mood and your style. You seriously cannot go wrong with either of these locations. Trinity Tree Farm was PERFECT for our wedding. The backdrop is stunning with beautiful hillsides, fields of Christmas trees, and greenery everywhere. The lodge is unmatched with its all white interior, sparkling chandeliers, twinkling lights, firepits, and we loved using the steps to walk down the aisle. It is rustic, but elegant and timeless at the same time. The photos turned out amazing, the natural lighting on the deck where we got ready was gorgeous and it was the most beautiful arbor for the ceremony. Everyone raved about the beauty of the building. I was an out of state bride and the biggest thing for finding vendors for me was communication. I wasn't going to pick any place I wasn't in love with, and I knew from the moment I walked into the lodge it was the one. Brittny worked with me to schedule more than one tour while I was visiting for the holiday and she was so nice, she great leading up to the day of and helped with all the planning and answering any questions I had. Courtny was also amazing day of, helping everything run smoothly and helping with all the last-minute details I hadn't even thought of. I would highly recommend having your wedding here, we went to so many other venues before choosing the lodge at trinity tree farm and no other venue in the area can compare. When we move back we move back to WA we plan on getting out Christmas tree from here. I really can't say enough how much I loved this venue. read more

Our usual tree farm was closed this year so we tried Trinity. COVID precautions were great but the tree selection was poor. My family was on the hunt for a large Noble Fir and trekked all over the property but every tree we liked was either on hold for sale or not tagged for sale. We were there the day after thanksgiving so I was shocked the tree selection was already picked through. We were going to leave without a tree but decided to look in there pre-cut area. We ended up with a beautiful tree from there already pre-cut section but at a pretty hefty price. It seemed to me that they cut down all the really nice ones which takes the joy out of our family tradition of our son and his dad cutting it down themselves. Please don't cut so many trees down so early and give customers a chance to do it. read more

If you enjoy 3 hours of waiting in line, this is the place for you! 1 hour in car line + 30 minutes to park car + 1.5 hours in a line to pay for the tree. really fun stuff. I asked the employees if I could give them a $100 bill to pay for a $50 tree to avoid 1.5 hours in the "pay" line. They said "nope." This place will certainly put you in the Christmas spirit. Did we go the day after Thanksgiving, yes. But the owner who greeted everyone in the driveway car lineup could have warned folks that a 3 hour slog lay ahead. My husband and I just got married at the Barn at Trinity Tree Farm on 9/2/17 and it was simply AMAZING!!! From start to finish Brittny was so great, very responsive, kind and flexible! Her suggestions were extremely helpful and her calm and professional manner kept me sane through this whole process that took over a year. My then fiance was actually the one to suggest this place while we were Christmas Tree Hunting with his family (we weren't even engaged yet!). It was the first time I had ever spent time with his entire family so the venue was sentimentally significant and it would not leave my mind after visiting other venues. The first time my mother, mother in law and I visited the grounds, we got to meet the builder/owner! He was a funny guy! Great family and people who run this place. And the venue itself is just SO BEAUTIFUL! You really don't have to do much to enhance it's natural beauty!. The twinkle lights, chandeliers, and fire-pits really set the tone and the wood, crisp air and beautiful trees is so perfect to take in. We're born and raised Washingtonians and this place just screams Pacific Northwest! What a wonderful venue to represent our state and at a really really competitive price! It was the best priced out of all the venues we visited. The venue is very well kept and clean! Is it odd for me to say, it smells wonderful too? I have to say I was a bit nervous as our guestlist was HUGE! From the start I had a feeling that our guest-list would be one of the longer ones that TTF would accommodate and with a very decent fee they made it happen with our count of 192! We got to use the entire grounds from the spacey lawn, great for cocktail tables here and there, 2 bars and the smore bar! We also had a selfie station set up around the firetruck. We had our kid's table set up outside with the help of my mother in law and her friends and our family. Since our guest-count was a bit higher we used Royal Restrooms and they work with TTF often so that was a relief and went smooth! To plan a wedding can be overwhelming and intimidating but I never once felt any pressure or intimidation from TTF at all. They were so generous the entire time and the owner's cell phone number was also given to us as I've read in another review. We visited this venue during the open houses any chance we could get to plan and Brittny would always warmly great us! TTF was also very gracious with our caterer that had never been to this venue, Hunter Family Catering. Their thing is that they bbq some of the food on the grounds and WOW, to have the guests be able to smell it all cooking really made it feel like the biggest family BBQ celebration (as should be!). We LOVE our BBQ!!! I really am grateful for all TTF let us do to make this one day truly be about us, our family, and what we love. It's one day we get for the rest of our lives united with all of our family and friends and TTF couldn't have been a more perfect place for it! read more

The cafe is also over priced as well as the gift shop. $114 for a Christmas card holder that was made of cheap metal. I thought it was a typo.... But no. Not impressed. Reviews and photos looked great. I was extremely excited to come here. We arrived and it was extremely packed. Way too many people. Online their website stated $12/foot on most trees but in reality all the trees are pre-priced and MUCH more expensive than stated online. All of the U-Cut trees are extremely over priced and short! I couldn't find a 7+ foot tree :( I had to pick a pre-cut one and it was $95! They also give you a discount if you pay cash. Great! I got enough cash out but they charge you tax & $3 to net your tree so by the time that was all added I didn't have enough cash and had to put some of it on my card. The only good thing about our experience was that one of the workers tied the trees to our car which they typically weren't even doing. I was happy about that because after getting 2 trees one 7' and one 4' and spending $180 it was the least they could do. Paying way to much and getting way too little. This place looks great online but really isn't worth the drive. My friends couldn't even find trees the right height or that they liked because everything was so over priced and the trees were too small. We were supposed to end up with five trees at the end but only ended up getting two. Only reason I purchased one was because I didn't want to have to make another stop on the way home and I was tired. read more
