My family & I were very pleased by the work we had done by Remodel Max. Shout out to Wayne, Dennis, Madison, Mitch, Brennen (sp?), & Nick. I was seeing signs in our 75 year old house that indicated to me that the house might have been sinking, so we called out several contractors to inspect our foundation. My husband & I were out of our element. We suspected there was something very wrong with the house, but we didn't know to what extent there was (or wasn't) damage, we didn't know what it would take to get each issue fixed, & we had no idea how much it would cost. I asked each contractor to bring a structural engineer along for the inspection, & Wayne was the only one who was willing to accommodate my request. The other contractors either felt that I needed to get my own structural engineer (to create a design that they could bid on), or that our situation didn't warrant a blueprint design of any kind - which gave us the impression they were just going to "wing it." We really felt our situation required a contractor to work in tandem with a structural engineer from the start. We did not feel comfortable hiring our own structural engineer to create a design that the contractor could potentially disregard halfway through repairs. It felt too risky for us to do a Design-Bid-Build contract. We wanted someone invested from start to finish. Afterall, this was not just a bathroom remodel, a hardscape, nor just an addition. It was an exceedingly complicated repair to the structural integrity of my existing home. Wayne was the only contractor who could see the extent to which our first floor joists & main triple beam were deteriorating, was able to list the myriad of serious issues we had, & in each way it needed to be repaired correctly. He was very thorough in his inspection before even talking about an estimate with hard numbers. It required 2 visits to the house, & paying a "Good Faith" fee for the structural engineer's time before we were able to get an estimate - But that's how it works with structural engineers, & we were grateful to have someone taking our situation as seriously as it truly was. The repairs to the house required us to move out of our house while Wayne's crew rebuilt our entire first floor, including jacking up & re-leveling the house. It was arguably one of the most difficult tasks they may have taken on. It required jacking up our second story, while demolishing the first floor floor, the joists, the triple beam & replacing it all. Think about it: How do you replace the first floor of a house without the second floor crashing down on top of you? How do you do it while leaving the second floor intact? Mitch & his crew handled it well, to put it lightly. Each one of them went the extra mile & took their time to make sure everything was done correctly. It took a lot of coordination between many people for us to move out & have the house ready for Mitch & his crew to get started. They were all extremely communicative, professional, & down-to-earth. We felt confident in their abilities throughout the repairs, & we are confident our new first floor will last us another 100 years. Ps. Sorry this review took so long, Dennis. This is a great company to deal with and I highly recommend them!!! We were having issues with our guest bathroom tiles coming loose and Wayne from Remodel Max came out, gave a fair estimate, walked me through the work they would doing, and offered suggestions for the best job possible. He was quick to get me a quote and walked me through the contract as well. He was always responsive via text and email when I had questions and followed through on everything he said he would. The work itself was great and the contractors performing the services were on time, cleaned up after each day's work, and made sure they put down tarps and drop clothes so our Condo unit (inside and outside) were kept clean. The other residents in the building were amazed how clean they were!!! if you want it done right - call these guys. I plan to bring them back in the future for other projects. Dean S. I held off on this review for a year, i usually just dont like giving negative reviews. The salesman was a great guy, tried his best to get stuff right, but work just didnt go right. I hired them to fence my backyard and make a drainage system for my sump pump discharge. All this time later, i am still fixing their stuff. First thing i didnt like was the crew would just appear, do work, and leave without getting with me. The company just sends me an email saying to legally accept work is complete in a docusign. I am used to a contractor showing me the end result for satisfaction and questions. This was just very odd. Next, fence was done poorly. Due to hoa, had to do vinyl, but tops of posts kept getting blown off so i had to glue them on, posts were wobbly causing cross beams to pop out with wind and fence sections falling apart. I had to go back and drill in L brackets to add to support. Next, the underground drainage........ i have a sump pump discharge that dumps water too close to house, causing recyling of water back into the french drain. Like i said, salesman was great and understood and we drew up plans for a 12 inch drainbox to a 4 inch corregated underground pipe to a popup value just outside of fence. All written on contract. First day of it, i notice they have left a bunch of 1.5 inch pvc in my yard so i asked salesman. Apparently, crew decided (with no discussion with me) to change plans and just run 1.5 inch pvc connected to my discharge to end of yard with rocks piled on end. No drainbox, no popup valve. I was a little mad. So had to explain their plan was not what i paid for and if a critter crawled up pipe and clogged it, my basement would flood which was why my plan had discharge drop into a drain box. Salesman kept getting with them to fix, after several incorrect installs, i gave up and let them leave. Ended with a 9 inch drain box instead of 12 (that splashed water everywhere and caused same recycling) and instead of only perferating pipe at backend of yard for passive drainage, whole pipe is perferated causing more recycling. Recently, i finally dug up the small drainbox myself and replaced with proper 12 inch to stop all the splashing, but still have to dig up whole pipe eventually to replace to stop all the recycling that is overworking my sump pump. Hopefully after all this time they got rid of the bad people, but i would never hire them again. read more

This review is long over due! Wayne and his crew were great! He designed a beautiful master bathroom. His crew was very clean and tried to be as un-intrusive as they could be. Our bathroom was a challenge because the ceiling was so uneven. Wayne and his guys solved the problem by blending the crown molding, needless to say, it was disguised brilliantly! We did not have the run of the mill bathroom idea, Wayne totally duplicated what we saw on Houzz! Nailed it down to the details! I would totally recommend Wayne and Remodel Max! read more

But then I spoke to Valerie and she is just so warm and friendly that I immediately got the best vibes. Wes and his partner then came out to do a free consultation to evaluate a few projects I needed done and were nice enough to give me different quotes for each. As someone who has to do proposals for their job, I can appreciate how tedious this step is and so I really appreciate that small gesture! The quotes were fair and reasonable and as soon as I signed off, the work was scheduled instantly. One thing that really stuck out to me, aside from the frequent updates from my girl, Valerie was when Wes called me to ask about HOA regulations for the railing I had replaced, as he noticed that all of the houses in my neighborhood (because he drove around to look on his own accord!) hafnd a different railing that I ordered. He wanted to bring it to my attention so I did not end up paying a ton of money for work that my HOA could potentially make me redo. I just think that is a the kind of service that builds trust. The work they did was fantastic. Any concern I had was quickly addressed and taken care of. I honestly could not have asked for anything more and they will definitely be my very first call for any and all future home projects!
