    Elevator vibes!

Corey made the trip memorable by giving me such amazing customer service upon my arrival. She was so patient with me when I was mixed up thinking I had reserved a king room but it was really a double. She then proceeded to upgrade me out of the kindness of her heart! The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. The amenities here are unparalleled. The bar, the pool bar, the restaurant, the pools/hot tubs, the gym, literally everything. I LOVE it here. The server, Gerardo, goes above and beyond! What an asset to have on the team here!

I absolutely love this place. This is a perfect getaway with your bby! This place is so fancy and so high end I felt very safe parking my car in the parking lot. It felt real secure here and very tucked away from everything. When I first walked in, I was greeted by the front desk people I was able to check in with no problem and the gentleman that helped me and told me all the amenities that I had access to including the spa club. That's downstairs. It has a sauna, gym, and a spa area for all your needs. He handed me a paper with all the information of the time of breakfast what time everything closes and to top it off, they have a mini Starbucks with limited drinks inside the building! When we first walked into our room, it was very clean and very spacious which I absolutely love. I loved our room because when you look out of your window, you could see the parking lot we parked on the very top so we could see our car whenever which was a plus! The bed is very comfortable. The room is very clean, but the only downfall about this place is that they have a limited channels on their TV. That's the only thing I wished they had a more variety of, but everything else was very high-end and top-notch that I would definitely will be coming back again!

I had such hopes for this hotel. So many missed opportunities. This hotel can easily achieve a consistent 5 stars with proper staff training across the board and maintenance/upkeep. Pros: Lots of parking, spacious rooms, spacious bathrooms, restaurants on property, Access to Bay Club Gym, which is off the hotel lobby and has a lap pool as well as a kiddie pool and jacuzzi, lots of luggage bell carts. There's even a bar area at the pool. Keep in mind, these are also local gym members and not just hotel guests so you get to mix with the locals which is nice. Con: Mediocre check in experience, I don't think smiling and warm welcomes are part of the hotel experience nor any additional information for how you can use the facilities, such as the Bay Club, the pool. There were events happening that my family and I missed out on, while we were trying to kill time before our event. The restaurant Citrus, as well as Starbucks closes early on Sundays, guests are flying in from all over the world and can't get a bite to eat upon check-in. I asked for information for a restaurant that is open close by and I was sent to a wild goose chase because when I got to the restaurant, that too was closed. These are basic information that front desk staff should know and this was a lost opportunity. I booked a 4 day stay and every night I was there I suffered terrible migraines, so I checked out a day early and didn't mind paying though I wasn't going to spend the night. I did not want to risk another migraine. I did not have any alcohol for those days either. Haven't had a migraine since I checked out. The first day my cousin and I went to the Citrus restaurant off the lobby for breakfast, it took 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge us and once seated, no one ever came over to offer even water or coffee, it was not busy, lots of empty tables. After 20 minutes we got up and left. This was a family trip and this hotel did not add to that experience. Stay at an Airbnb if you can and have a better experience. My Airbnb host canceled at the last minute and so we ended up at this underwhelming hotel. Shopping is not close by just be aware. You have to drive. This hotel has lots of potentials if they can provide training in customer service. The Bay Club had the best staff, friendly and helpful.

Loved my stay at Renaissance Walnut Creek. In town for work and I love that I could still get a great workout in with the excellent gym facilities on site. The hotel restaurant didn't disappoint either. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice sized rooms. Check in and out was a breeze.

Came down at 8:30am. Every other Renaissance hotel I have stayed at has had something for breakfast for guests, even if just some fruit, pastries, and coffee. This one has a restaurant that I could pay $25 for breakfast and coffee. I asked if there was coffee for guests and they directed me to the health club way down the hall. I went there and the coffee was empty, I let the health club receptionist know, but that went nowhere. I went back and asked the restaurant and they directed me to a coffee shop inside the hotel where I could pay for coffee. OK, fine. Except no one was at the counter. After waiting 10 minutes, I walked back to the restaurant & they called someone to come to the coffee shop. After 40 minutes and $4.08, I finally have a cup of coffee, after paying over $330 for a room for one night. I also tried using the app to get help, but never got a response.

The delicious lamb taste delicious. Worth a try.

Valets are always on duty. Check in: Efficient check in, acknowledged status. No room upgrade though. Rooms (514 and 549): small but renovated with king bed and all the normal equipment including mini refrigerator. Bed: mediocre king bed Bathroom: cramped bathroom, shower only, horrible lighting Sleep quality: Horrible, we could clearly hear our neighbors' conversations. Neighbors (room 514) had sex so loud and repeatedly and then got drunk and loud that we had to move rooms. Neighbors (room 549) woke us up at 4:45 a.m. having loud sex. After loud sex, they joined a conference calls on speakerphone for an hour. We could hear everything. Simply the worst Marriott ever for between-room sound insulation. We could also hear road noise from the highway. Housekeeping: above average housekeeping Perks for status: Dismal. The lounge on the 6th floor was consistently trashed and not stocked. Breakfast was a joke and one of the worst I've seen in many years. Parking: valet parking only; the valets were good Misc: This hotel allows dogs. One of the elevators reeked of dog urine. Overall hotel cleanliness was below average.

After what happened, I can confidently say I will NEVER stay here again. My husband, our three kids, and I stayed for one night. We paid $35 for valet parking and trusted that our vehicle and belongings would be secure. The valet staff greeted us nicely when we arrived, so we had no reason to think anything was wrong. The next morning, after enjoying breakfast and checking out, we were waiting for our car. The moment I opened the door, I realized our entire vehicle had been ransacked. Multiple belongings were stolen, including something incredibly important my children's birth certificates and Social Security cards, which we had with us because we were traveling. We immediately notified the valet attendant and hotel staff. Unfortunately, they were absolutely no help. We were offered a refund of the $35 valet fee and given the number for the valet company's manager, Eric. Eric told us this had "never happened before" and said he would review the surveillance footage and get back to us. He never did. We filed a police report, and this is where things became even more concerning. The officer told us that the hotel manager had informed him that another vehicle had also been ransacked that same day. Yet when we reported what happened, nobody at the hotel mentioned that another vehicle had been broken into. What hurts the most is that we trusted this hotel and its valet service. We paid for the convenience and security of valet parking, only to leave with our vehicle ransacked. I understand that a hotel cannot prevent every crime, but I absolutely expect honesty, communication, and genuine assistance when something like this happens to a guest. Instead, we felt completely dismissed. We feel violated, disappointed, and completely let down. Stay and use the valet at your own risk. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND this location or its valet service!

They are the bright spot of this property. Unfortunately, the hotel itself is another story. I travel weekly for work and stay in hotels constantly, and I would rate the condition and cleanliness of this property 2 stars at best. What bothers me most is that the owners/management have allowed the rooms to get into this condition while leaving the front-of-house employees to deal with the complaints day after day. That is incredibly unfair to a staff that is clearly working hard and doing its best. Shame on the owners for putting them in that position. If you work all day, grab dinner, and only come back to crash for the night, you can make it work. But if you're looking for a genuinely clean, well-maintained hotel where you can relax and feel comfortable spending time in your room, this would not be my choice. The staff deserves 5 stars. The condition of the hotel does not.

I reserved and prepaid $977.28 through the AAA Travel website for a Premium Two King Beds room. My confirmation clearly states that I purchased a Premium Two King Beds room. Before traveling, I also called the hotel directly to verify my reservation, and I was assured everything was confirmed. Upon arrival, I was informed that my room type was no longer available. Instead of the two king beds I had reserved and paid for, I was given a room with only one king bed and a rollaway bed. I was traveling with my elderly mother and my adult daughter. Because the rollaway bed was not suitable for my daughter, my mother had to sleep on the rollaway bed for our three-night stay. This was not the room I purchased, and it significantly affected our comfort during our trip. I immediately asked whether another room was available or whether the hotel could provide a discount or other accommodation. I was told the hotel was sold out and that nothing could be done. The staff was not empathetic and repeatedly stated that because I had booked through a third party, there was nothing they could do. After returning home, I contacted the hotel again. During that conversation, I was told that I had been "bumped" because I booked through a third party and that had I booked directly through the hotel, they would have honored my reservation. I find this unacceptable. My reservation was confirmed, paid in full, and verified directly with the hotel before my arrival. Guests should not receive inferior accommodations simply because they booked through an authorized travel partner such as AAA. I respectfully request: * A partial refund for failing to provide the room category I paid for. * A written explanation as to why my confirmed reservation was not honored. * An explanation of the hotel's policy regarding confirmed reservations made through AAA and other authorized travel agencies. I have already opened a case with AAA Travel and hope this matter can be resolved promptly and fairly.

The room was huge! It had a cute little kitchen setup with a dining table, a comfy corner couch in the living area, and two separate bedrooms, which made it feel more like an apartment than a hotel. The second bedroom had a king bed, its own walk-in shower, and the same setup with the sink outside the bathroom and open to the room, which made it super easy to multitask (aka watch TV while doing my makeup). The space overall was clean, functional, and comfortable. But my biggest complaint? That awful showerhead. It was grimy, leaking, and had the weakest water pressure. The staff were always very friendly and accommodating. There were a couple of times we had a lot of clarifying questions and they never made us feel like we were annoying them. I called them up to inquire about it, and they were able to resolve the issue and refunded me the difference. Overall, the hotel was pretty clean for accommodating pets. I think this hotel seems to have a lot of smells from food that people bring it or of cleaning products. Even in our room, it seemed the room held on to smells for a long time, and despite having the air circulating or the window open, it was hard to get rid of the scents. It also seems other reviewers have mentioned some bedbug or other creepy crawly concerns, but we did not see any for the whole month we were there. We had a studio sort of room, so it was a large space that included the bed, a small living room with the couch, dining table, and kitchenette. The kitchenette includes a microwave that also can be an oven, an electric stove, and a nice sized refrigerator. They include the basic utensils for eating and cooking, bowls, plates, cups, mugs, pans, pots, colander. There is a coffee maker, as well. They provide you with dishwashing soap but it is not of great quality as it doesn't bubble. There is no sponge they provide to wash your dishes. They do have some dishwasher detergent for the dishwasher they also have in the unit. It seems they do not do room service unless you specifically request/schedule for it. It's probably because they have pets and they need you to have your pet out of the room when they service it. Parking is free, and they provide you with a parking pass to leave on your dashboard. They have a 24/7 gym with a few key equipment, including 2 ellipticals, 1 stationary bike, 1 non-functioning Peloton bike, 3 treadmills, bench for weights, back extension. They have wipes to clean the equipment, a water jug, and towels for your convenience. There is complimentary breakfast. It starts at 6:30 am on the weekdays, 7 am on the weekends. They have someone making custom ready-to-order omelets. They have the standard coffee and tea (coffee runs out pretty quickly in the morning since this is a busy hotel for working guets), scrambled eggs (one plain, one with veggies), sausage or bacon, potatoes, fruit, cereal, oatmeal, breads. There is a bar with a happy hour as well, but they do not have a sit-down restaurant here. Fortunately, there are many restaurants close by in Downtown Pleasant Hill. Other amenities include meeting rooms, a pool, basketball court. Overall, it was a pretty solid experience at Hyatt House!
