Beautiful lounge area with a great atmosphere. Perfect for a sunny afternoon or warm summer night. The bar tender Dawson was super helpful and attentive. They have a smaller but inclusive food and drink menu. Good for every palate.

I stopped up at Crows Nest one evening while staying at The Stella Hotel. While amazing in theory, there's probably a bit of fine tuning needed for the next rooftop season. The bar is surprisingly large. In addition to several table options, the bar offers tons of seating. The tall tables at the front edge offer a great view of downtown Kenosha. There were no servers for the tables but that was not a big deal to me. There isn't any food service yet either. Maybe next year. The bartender was efficient and very friendly. The beer was ice cold and the classic cocktails were expertly crafted. The thing that really put me off was the bar area was filled with hotel employees. Still in uniform they were partying it up with their friends that looked like college kids in dorm clothes. Think wrinkled pajama pants and t-shirts with holes. I expected a different vibe at a high end boutique hotel. Not that I am an expert - but I envision swanky music, table service, an appetizer menu and a more sophisticated clientele that doesn't include sweatpants wearing kids on a Saturday evening. I know it is a work in progress and will definitely check it out next rooftop season.

Great view. This is not an actual restaurant this is a rooftop bar on top of a nice hotel. Don't expect more and you won't be disappointed

Very disappointed. I was expecting something more than a canned cocktail. I was looking for something a little more upscale. Wont be back.

We found a cute little sitting area in the back that we could push some tables together. The wait staff worked as team checking on us as they came by. The menu consists of more that just typical bar food, so we were able to find items to satisfy our individual taste buds, including the pickiest of the little ones. The Tavern burger was reportedly good from one of our group members, I enjoyed the Cheesesteak sandwich along with the Cheese Squares. The littles did not complain about the chicken tenders. The beer was good too. OK pricing considering the current economic situation.

The wait was a little bit long but I couldn't see how busy they were inside . My wife order the shrimp sandwich and I ordered the Peruvian steak sandwich. Both with sides of fries. My wife said the shrimp sandwich was an eight out of 10. Pretty good. Best part was definitely the buns felt fresh. The steak sandwich for me was a bit bland. The sauce was the star. I feel like the sauce was not there would be a pretty bland sandwich steak did not have any flavor unfortunately but still a decent sandwich. We are planning on coming back down to Kenosha and trying this place again. It may be checking out the other things they have.

This is in the downtown area of Kenosha, within walking distance to Lake Michigan. The restaurant is in an old building and is decorated in a very neat style with really cool overhead lights and the back bar is very cool. We got a table quickly and I noticed they had a private event they were hosting. Our server greeted us and took our drink order. We ordered Crab cake sliders as an appetizer. My wife ordered the Cajun Pasta with Shrimp and I ordered the Pork Belly Bahn Mi with fries. our appetizer came out quickly. This was three sliders served on Hawaiian rolls. the crab cakes had good flavor. I liked the chipotle aioli was very good and paired well with the crab cake, house made pickles and pickled red onion. It took quite a while before our entrees arrived. I know it was Friday evening and they were packed, plus they were dealing with a large party, but I think the only reason we got our food when we did was because our server, who was also a bartender, noticed we hadn't gotten our food. He brought our entrees out and they looked good. I immediately noticed my food was cold and had been sitting for a while. My wife commented her pasta was cold as well. The fries were house made, but cold and the Pork Belly Bahn Mi sandwich was cold and the roll was getting hard, like it had been toasted and sat for a while. I'm guessing our order got made then over looked by the food runner. Regardless, the sandwich was good. The pork belly was tender and the vegetables were fresh. I wish the Jalapenos had been more pronounced, and I wish the roll wasn't so hard, but still not bad. The fries would have been awesome if they were hot. I would like to give them another try when we return to Wisconsin.
