I was greeted by Ashley the office manager and she has the best customer service skills I've ever encountered. Someone who knows what she's talking about and actually loves her job. My youngest son who is autistic came on the tour and he was actually the one who picked our place. There was two units available an upstairs which was chosen by my son and a downstairs unit which I actually wanted. Ashley made the whole tour enjoyable and made it feel like we were home. It's very peaceful, clean, well kept up. We just moved in, in August and already feel like we've been at home for a while now. The neighbors are so kind. If you're looking for a place to call home please check out Crossroads. You won't be disappointed! Ashley and Lynn are both a joy to chat with. FYI I feel Ashley should get a raise

Also, the side gates do not work, the main gate entrance is always open while the exit is closed. When my lease was over they raised my rent an extra $170 a month to stay another year, what a joke. Most fix break in your apartment within 3-6 months , some of these apartments are over 15 years old and they need repairing or replacing items . The dryer takes forever to dry clothes even with light loads . Most people with dogs do not pick up their poop. People drive very fast in this community, there is beautiful turkey birds on this community but the residents seems like they don't respect the animals here , they drive fast almost killing a turkey bird . The assistant manger , I overheard her telling someone this resident has missed payments to rent many times and then laughed after that . The leasing office people , they create drama in their heads like they are high school girls . Rent for 2bed 1.5 bath is total $2,200 without the side bills , side bills can be $300-$500 . This is my second lease with Kirker creek, I'll be moving out when this lease is up . This place is almost 10 mins away from the closest shopping center . WiFi sucks here also so you have to pay for an hotspot or pay for internet . Lots of people smoke cigarettes on this community too , so you will get second hand smoke

This has been ongoing for over a month, when told refund would be given back in two weeks. Attempted to apply for an apartment that was shown to us, was told the process takes 3 weeks for third party to even review the application. Paid the holding fee, when trying to complete the application I could no longer fully submit it because the "apartment was already taken" ?? (a whole other issue) Now a month later still waiting for refund or at least an update. Called again, only to be given a corporate number.

They have these apartments plastered all over Craigslist for rent$1375. They don't specify a credit…read morecriteria which means if they don't want to rent to you they just won't. My daughter got denied but met the qualifications on their application but based on her Age they denied her. It is my belief that they are looking to rent to certain people to fit the image of what they want to live there even though the area is not so desirable/ bad. The apartment manager told my daughter you need good credit to stay here because the rent is so low. You're too young. You have to have 3/4 credit cards and have to been paying them for 3 years or more. I see that another review on here had a similar interaction. With that being said I suggest anyone that has had this problem with this company, file a complaint with HUD for housing discrimination.
