My wife and I used this medspa for five months, but we had to sever ties immediately due to highly erratic, non-transparent, and unauthorized billing practices. The owner operates entirely on ambiguity, using flyers posted on the walls as a substitute for clear communication or actual signed consumer consent. She seems to genuinely not understand how ambiguous or unprofessional she is. We asked her repeatedly, "What is included in this membership/package?" Every time, she would get cagey and dodge the question by replying with, "What are you interested in?" She regularly included extra services that were not part of the membership, but never consistently, making it impossible to know what we were actually paying for. We actually witnessed this exact scenario play out with another customer a couple of months ago. We arrived for an appointment to find a frantic woman standing at the front desk hitting the bell over and over again. The owner literally called my phone from outside, hiding in her car behind the building because she refused to face the customer. She told me on the phone she couldn't understand why the woman was upset about an unexpected bill, insisting her prices were clear. They are not. The exact same thing just happened to us. My wife discussed a potential future treatment. Without providing a written estimate, discussing a price out loud, or obtaining explicit billing authorization, the owner immediately charged our credit card $1,280. When we reached out to dispute this massive charge, she claimed "all sales are final" for a service that hadn't even been rendered yet, claiming that the price was posted on flyers in her office yet refused to let my wife view the flyer in the room to confirm the pricing, and flatly refused to provide a copy of the foundational contract we supposedly signed months ago. Her justification was that because the price was on a flyer on the wall, she had the right to charge our card without asking. Furthermore, we discovered we were being billed a $299 monthly membership fee each, despite never signing a membership agreement or contract. We have initiated a formal dispute with our credit card company for unauthorized billing and services not rendered, and we are filing formal complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the Washington State Attorney General. Hanging a flyer on a wall does not give a business the right to run a customer's credit card without permission. The operations here are completely unethical. I have seen Dr Luba for about 3 years. I have purchased a package and go once or twice a year to take off my freckles and dark spots on my face. The packages are 250.00 a month for 6 months. First package went smooth. Went in 3 times in a year and half. Two Picos and one l microblade. Second set of packages, not so well. I went in once, about a year ago for Pico and when I called on 11-2025, she said I have no credit. Wasn't about to give her 1500.00 again when I only went in once. She had lost 1000.00 of mine. Two weeks later she found it somehow, and I went in for Pico. Unlike the other sessions. Felt no heat, no redness no stinging at all. I told her twice when I was in the office. Sent her pictures at 7 days and said call me please, nothing happened. I showed up at her office, and totally surprise her and she said "I dont know what happened", but clearly nothing happened. I highly recommend Dr Luba. I had a wonderful experience with the Aviclear Laser treatment. When I looked up other locations that offer this treatment, her pricing was significantly more affordable. She walked me through the process and what my expectations should be. This involved 3 treatment sessions. You will feel a slight discomfort during the procedure but she gives you a cooling fan that makes it tolerable. There is no downtime so I was able to resume my normal activities thereafter. For about a week after the first treatment, I noticed my skin purging and some breakout that resolved quickly. After the second treatment, it was significantly less. Now, I very rarely get any acne lesions. My whiteheads/blackheads have are almost non existent. My skin is no longer very oily. I I also noticed that this treatment has also helped decrease formation of sebaceous hyperplasia. Overall, I'm very pleased with the results and I can't thank Dr Luba enough! read more

I went to Renew MD Medspa to have a Picosure Laser Facial done. I explicitly told Dr. Lupa that I had microbladed brows. She acknowledged she understood and said she would cover them when she was in proximity. Hours after the fact when I was looking in the mirror I noticed part of the top of my brows had been hit by the laser and were already fading. I emailed her immediately with a picture asking for a partial refund for the damage caused. She said no, that there was a contract stating no refunds. I followed up asking for my tip to be refunded and she only said she would apply it to a future session. As if I'd trust someone who burnt off part of my microbladed brows to go near my face again? I even waited a couple of weeks to see if maybe they would heal & improve. They haven't. They still look red and the tattoo ink has faded completely. I will not be going back here ever again and would not recommend anyone with micro-bladed brows to go here either. Edit to respond to Doctors comment.
