You will have difficulty finding the right office in this cheapo maze, a sign not to. The phone…read morestaff is creepy, the DAC is careless and smug and this PRIVATE EQUITY is out only for $ at your expense. I had a biopsy and after finding out I have a large cancer on my lower back I cancelled the necessary surgery there to go to Virginia Mason on Monday, knowing time is important, still w no schedule and expecting a delay. That's how much I HATE THIS COMPANY. There's much I won't mention. Too much. If you have a real medical condition go to a REAL Doctor. This ain't the joint.

The Handshake Says It All: Unbiased Review of Racial Microaggressions in Healthcare…read more Let me be crystal clear about my experience with Preston Lehr, PA and this dermatology practice: it was unacceptable. As a Black woman, I was subjected to treatment that exemplifies the medical disparities POC face daily in healthcare settings. On my first visit to discuss the removal of skin tags and to have PA Lehr examine my ruptured cyst, his behavior immediately made me uncomfortable. He greeted me with an exaggerated, stereotypical handshake that felt forced and inappropriate--something I guarantee he doesn't do with his white patients in Edmonds. During this visit, he prescribed a powerful antibiotic for my ruptured cyst without mentioning it needed to be taken with food. This potentially dangerous oversight was only caught by my pharmacist, not the doctor who prescribed it. When I returned for my second visit to have the skin tags removed, PA Lehr greeted me with the same uncomfortable handshake. When I asked if the procedure would hurt, his dismissive response that "it's not going to hurt him" was both condescending and unprofessional. I had to specifically ask about aftercare instructions myself--information that should be provided automatically. For my third visit to address the now-calmed cyst, PA Lehr once again greeted me with the same inappropriate handshake. I couldn't help but think: would a 50-year-old white woman, man or non-binary person be treated this way? Absolutely not. During the procedure, he provided minimal explanation and zero aftercare guidance. Only the support staff stepped in to give me the proper information I needed. The support staff was competent, but they can't compensate for a doctor who treats patients differently based on how they look. This is medical racism, plain and simple--not jokes, not lightheartedness, but the exact kind of differential treatment that research consistently shows undermines care for communities of color. I'm giving two stars solely because: 1) The procedures were technically completed and 2) The support staff provided information the PA should have given. I will never return to this practice and strongly advise against it for anyone--ESPECIALLY people of color who deserve healthcare providers who see and respect them as human beings deserving equal care and dignity.

DANGEROUS and FILTHY. I had an appt with Dr. Jane Yoo in the Frontier Group (Steven's Health…read moreCenter) in Edmonds. As I waited in the exam room, I noticed that a foot-wide area on the door to the room was either really stained around the doorknob or very dirty (like you'd expect at a mechanic's garage). Curious, I grabbed a wetwipe and swiped the surface. The door was filthy. There was no trash can in the room so I left the wetwipe on the counter. When the doctor and her assistant saw it, they were properly appalled ---"Is that yours or ours?!"--- but the doctor blamed the property manager for the filth. She offered no apology, took no responsibility for her own practice. Unacceptable. There's no way that I would ever have any kind of medical procedure done in that office! Basic safety and cleanliness protocols are not followed. Very dangerous, gross, and disgusting. AVOID this place!

I exclusively use their PCA, Skinmedica and Yonka products.(and whatever else Elsa recommends) After having spent so much time over the years with Elsa, I can tell you she is very knowledgeable/educated and stays up to date with all the latest aesthetics available or coming out. She is kind and charismatic. She will put you at ease and always wants the best results for her clients. When the company transitioned from NW dermatology to SSL, I considered leaving due to loss of customer service that they had when it was a smaller company. Their phone system/people answering phones is still not good. But I've stayed solely because of Elsa. Recently, I referred a friend to SSL and she experienced the same customer service issues, someone at a Mercer Island location I believe told her they didn't have an Edmonds location and she couldn't get an appt for 6 months. Coincidentally, I was at the Edmonds location for an appt. and let the skincare clinic know her experience. Hannah immediately called her and got my friend an appt. right away. The skincare clinic has the best customer service!

From the moment she walked in to my treatment room, I was struck by her warmth and genuine patience. It felt as though I had known her for years, a testament to her exceptional ability to connect with her patients on a personal level. Having received Botox injections for over a decade In San Francisco, Beverly Hills, NYC and Seattle, I thought I had already discovered the pinnacle of expertise. That was until I met Alison. Her skill and precision in administering injections are unparalleled. Not only did she achieve stunning results with fewer units than I was used to, but she also managed to do so at a more affordable price. This efficiency and effectiveness clearly showcase her deep knowledge and mastery in the field. I also have had friends go to her for micro-needling. They were super enthusiastic about it and said it caused their skin to start doing its own thing by making new cells to make them look younger. By the way, nothing Alison does ever hurts! Not even a little bit. I don't even flinch when she does it because she is so gentle. It's no surprise that Alison excels, given her affiliation with Dr. Baxter, a renowned plastic surgeon whose reputation as one of the best in the US is well-deserved. Alison's remarkable talent and keen eye for detail reflect the high standards set by Dr. Baxter's practice. If you're looking for an aesthetic injector who combines expertise with a personal touch, Alison is the one to see. Her approach has elevated my cosmetic treatments, and I couldn't be happier with the results!
