Being in the moment and listening to the chefs explain each dish was so exciting. Everything is locally caught and some flavored to perfection. Even the sake, high recommended to pair with the Japanese lager. Everything was perfect ! I had mentioned I don't eat dairy so I got a different dessert than my boyfriend. It was the most delicious ending to an epic meal. I honestly can't wait to get back home and tell all my friends and family about it. The place was right next to a tree covered by tree branches it was truly a beautiful design. The server and chefs were so kind and well informed. Really tied in the experience.

We arrived at the location (tucked away) off the main road. Like a lot of the good things in Valle I suppose. We soon realized we were the only two dining with the chef this night. Which meant full attention full service just for the two of us. Talk about a treat. Our waiter mentioned how the omakase would work and soon started us with drinks and water. What came after was a dream, a full experience of tastes, and adventure, and exquisiteness. A really good selection of fish from the local Ensenada region. I was in awe every time a new dish come out. I lost count, and found myself trying to savor every moment every bite, and then having a moment of clarity and asking "what course are we on?" "how many are left?" I didn't worry to much as every single stage of omakase was magnificent, beautifully presented and something I highly suggest you do, if you have the opportunity to. If you get lucky and end of being the only customers for night, take advantage of it. As, opportunities like this, are rare. TOSHI is the best!

We were lucky to snag a table on Thursday night for two without any resy's. We were offered a two person table upstairs, which I prefer. Started with the Azuki salad that's perfect for sharing. The dressing is light and lots on the plate including avocado, taro chips, cucumber, and apples. Textures and flavors go so well together. I also got a spicy tuna hand roll, the Kobe Roll, and a few nigiri's including Hamachi, Chutoro, and Salmon belly. All were delicious but the Chutoro was the fave. Finished dinner with a burnt butter mochi cake complete with ice cream and some strawberry sauce. Def glad we stopped in and will def be back for more.

Crispy Rice & Spicy Tuna (9/10) - loved the crisp and the flavor. it wasn't too spicy and the spice was more for a little kick of flavor Stardust (7/10) - wasn't as citrusy as i thought with the lemon but tasted fine. it was basic in flavor but still good Spicy Salmon Hand Roll (8/10) - it was made well and it was good but nothing too special either Super Dragon (9/10) - the sweet potato was such an interesting and nice touch. really good flavor combination Service: Service is a bit slow since the beginning even to seat you even with a reservation but they remained very kind throughout the experience. Ambiance: It's a bit small but we were sat upstairs in another room with seating and since it's small, when it's packed it can get really loud with everyone talking. The vibes of the place is dimlit and not too upscale but also not too casual. It's just a very nice restaurant vibes

It's a cozy Japanese izakaya with warm yellow lighting, just like a traditional neighborhood pub in Tokyo. Perfect for casual drinks and enjoying a genuine laid-back vibe. I ordered the eel kamameshi, which took about 20 minutes to serve. Their house-marinated eel is incredibly fragrant. The Creamy Mentai Udon is a must-try: rich creamy flavor, savory pollock roe with no fishy taste, and perfectly chewy noodles that are absolutely addictive. Their grilled beef tongue is cooked to perfection--tender, juicy, and well-balanced in salt and sweetness. The teppanyaki is also very flavorful. Price range is mid to high, around $40+ per person. The staff gives off classic old-restaurant regular vibes: efficient and no overly formal small talk. It feels like a neighborhood comfort spot--warm and relaxed without forced hospitality.

This restaurant exceeded our expectations and recommend trying the following: Appetizers: *Jalapeño Bomb (favorite) *Gyoza Pork *Soft Shell Crab Dinner: Family Combo A (4 items) $65 *2lbs of shrimp *2lbs of crawfish We ordered medium spice level with garlic butter and drizzled a ton of lemons. Everything we ordered was so delicious!! Otay Sushi & Crab has an All-you-can-eat sushi menu and Lunch Bento Specials. The restaurant has plenty of indoor seating for large groups. We had excellent customer service. Location is next to Nothing Bundt Cakes. We look forward to going back!! Give it a try! Happy Yelping :)

Their sushi and fish are pretty good quality & one of our favorite things is that happy hour is buy 1 get 1 beer & sake all day lol When we came back to try AYCE seafood we had a few questions about the menu and our server was super patient with all our questions and requests. I genuinely think it's worth the price just because the amount of appetizers that come along with it. There was more than enough food to go around and we didn't even get to 3 rounds of seafood before we got full haha It's a clean restaurant, good service, and in a large plaza. The plaza it's located in can get really busy though because of the TJ Max & Marshals so I would plan accordingly on the weekends. The only reason I put 4 stars instead of 5 is because although the flavoring in the seafood is delicious.. I think they add way too much butter in the mix that it literally drowns out the seasoning. So what we started doing is digging to the bottom of the bag with a spoon, scooping out some of the seasoning from there and adding it to a sauce cup with some salt & pepper. Then we add the butter from there. The flavor is there, it is.. you just have to dig for it lol other than that our experience was great. We'll be coming back often.
