I am so grateful for Dr. Reeves and his staff. My entire experience with them was absolutely professional, extremely skilled, and helped me retain my tooth after a root canal. Two days following the procedure, I had very little pain and five days later I have none. If you've been referred to an Endodontist you already know you've got a serious problem that requires a person with exceptional skills to solve. I feel so lucky to have been referred to Dr. Iwasiuk's office. I was dealing with a tooth abscess that initially was very painful and swollen but had quieted down by the use of antibiotics. This problem was diagnosed by my normal dentist on a Friday, but when we contacted Gina at Dr Iwasiuk's Office for an appointment, we found out that they had no available appointments for over a week! Gina apologized and said if they had any cancellations, she would give me a call. Lo and Behold, late Monday afternoon I got a call asking me if I would be able to come in very next day! After arriving a little early, and being greeted with a smile by Chelsea at the front desk, Cortney, who is Dr. Iwasiuk's Dental Tech, came out to the waiting room and led me back to their procedure room. While checking my blood pressure, she asked to hear everything about my dental history, took some xrays, and then did a visual inspection of my teeth, before Dr. Iwasiuk appeared. Dr. Iwasiuk greeted me, extended his hand, and introduced himself as Randy. This was the "Aha!" moment for me. After already dealing with three members of his staff, and being treated respectfully and courteously, I knew this was no ordinary Dental Office. As Dr. Iwasiuk explained what he planned to do, and that his goal was to make it painless, Cortney finished preparing the tooth area for the work to start, also explaining that she'd do whatever to make things easier during the procedure. The work was completed in due course with absolutely no pain, followed by Dr. Iwasiuk briefing me what I should be watching for in the next few days, and rinse and med instructions. I hope that I never have another dental condition that requires me to go to an Endodontist, but I do, I'd never want to go to any office but Dr. Iwasiuk's. From initial contact, to Scheduling, to Dental Technician, to the Doctor's competence and manner, this office is the gold standard. read more

I had two appointments with Dr. Reeves for a root canal. I had always heard that root canals were a terrible and painful experience. It turned out that it barely hurt at all. Also, they have nice headphones and projector glasses so I was able to watch movies the entire time they were working on me. The staff was also very competent and there was a great atmosphere in the office. I would highly recommend them. read more

Dr. Reeves and his assistant spent a lot of time reviewing the findings of the 3-D scan and the radiographs that were taken. They helped me make an informed decision about whether to proceed with root canal therapy or not. Update: Dr. Reeves called and spoke with my daughter to offer an apology, which I appreciate. My daughter was referred to Dr. Reeves for a rootcanal. Her dentist indicated on the referral that she had extreme dental anxiety, I told the doctor about it in our consultation as well as calling the office the day before her treatment to discuss her anxiety. Today, when Dr. Reeves came in to start the procedure (an hour after our scheduled time), my daughter began to cry. This man literally threw his hands in the air and said "I don't do crying. At this point in my career I don't need to deal with this" and WALKED OUT!! His assistant tried to say they weren't aware of her anxiety at which point I reminded him that it was on the referral, discussed during the consultation and that I had phoned the day prior. He was well aware. He left my daughter feeling like she had done something wrong and responded in the most insensitive, unprofessional manner. I have never seen an adult, let alone a professional behave like this. He may be skilled at his craft but he is not a patient, kind or compassionate man. If he can't cope with a fearful child then perhaps he should not treat children. I've contact the State Board of Dental Examiners as well as the referring dentist regarding this situation. Unbelievable and shameful for a grown man to throw a tantrum like this!! read more

Dr. David Reeves, is the best endodontist I have ever met. His staff is superb, all were professional, courteous and technologically competent. The office has a subdued feeling which helps enhance the patient experience. I didn't even realize I needed a root canal. I thought I had an ear infection. My dentist referred me to Dr. Reeves which is probably the best referral I have ever received. I was dreading the procedure, but when I met Dr. Reeves, all my fears were gone. He was friendly, described the procedure thoroughly and I had NO PAIN! He showed me pre and post-op x-rays. His staff is top notch and I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone who might need an endodontic procedure....for me it was a root canal. Unbelievable experience. Unfortunately I have had a couple of visits with Dr. Reeves, but the unfortunate part was all my fault. The entire staff makes this a pleasant place where quite frankly nobody wants to be. Completely painless during and after treatment. They also have these new glasses where you can watch a movie during your procedure, time flew by and I was done in what felt like no time at all. Almost wanted to stay so I could finish the movie I was watching. Dr. Reeves I hope I never have to see you again, but if I do i would not consider going anywhere else. read more

I recently needed a root canal and my primary dentist referred me to this office. I cannot say enough about how great everyone in the office was. From when I first called to make my appointment until the post op phone call to check up on me, everyone was professional, friendly and caring. When I went for my initial consultation visit, I assumed I would have to wait awhile for my actual root canal appointment. As it turned out, they had a cancellation while I was there so I was able to get my procedure the same day. Dr. Kuang was wonderful. She explained things well and was gentle. She and the tech were great and both made sure to stand (when they could) where I could see them when they were speaking to me. The procedure itself was painless and I had very little post op pain. Just a little aching for a day or two and a couple of doses of Tylenol took care of that. I left the office with a "go bag" that had some ibuprofen, bottle of water, lip balm, post op instructions. It was a nice touch. And someone called me a couple of days later to see how I was doing. Overall I was very impressed and highly recommend this office. read more

The Reeves Iwasiuk Dental is the only Dental office I have NO trepidation or anxiety to go to for a procedure. From reception, intake through procedure, and exit, you are treated in a very kind manner with your personal feelings always in consideration. I have had three different root canals done over the years at the Reeves-Iwasiuk dental practice, all with so little discomfort and inconvenience it's hard to believe. At no time during any of my three procedures did I incur pain which is a very common experience in all other dental offices I've been in. read more

The entire office from Chelsea and other front staff to Dani my assistant to Dr. Reeves are all warm and friendly, considerate of your comfort and very educational as to what will happen and why during the root canal process. I was referred to Dr. Reeves by our family dentist. He seems like a very nice guy and a competent endodontist. My problem was that on my initial visit, I was quoted an estimate of $1560, pending the approval from my insurance. When I went in to have the procedure, eight days later, I was asked to pay. There was absolutely no mention that this had not yet been approved by my insurance, that this was anything but the final cost, and I paid in full with my American Express. About 10 days later I received an additional bill for $692!! It turned out that my insurance had not approved. I spoke with his staff and asked to have Dr. Reves call me. He never did. I originally disputed his charges but then decided that I did not want to drag this out, so I paid the additional bill. I did send him a letter, describing my disappointment. No response. I think that it is totally irresponsible to perform the procedure without prior insurance approval or at least advising the patient that this has not been approved and that there could be additional charges. I will not return and will have to seek follow up care elsewhere. If you do choose to use this practice, I would strongly advise, asking specific questions and having them write "paid in full" on your receipt. Be careful. read more

If you are in need of a root canal this is the place to go. I cannot find enough good things to say about Dr. Iwasiuk and staff. I am very fearful of any dental work, at all. I have had three root canals. First one was a terrible experience, second one with Dr. Iwasiuk, fabulous, and a third I was unfortunately out of state and needed an emergency root canal. That one was horrendous and I ended up paying way more for it. I seriously wish I had driven home to Nevada. I am in need of a fourth root canal and am considering driving to Nevada to see him specifically. I moved six hours away. Bummer. Office staff always pleasant, I called yesterday in a bit of a panic regarding my current tooth and the Dr. took the time to speak to me. I consider him the guru of good root canal experiences. read more

My treatment required 2 visits due to the amount of infection. Because of the amount of pain I was having between the two visits the office moved up the second appointment, after which I had little pain. I appreciate the ability to move up the second appointment. Dr. Iwasiuk seemed knowledgeable, thorough, and technically adept. I could have used a little more explanation after the first visit. Dr. Reeves and his staff were sympathetic to my needs, aware of my dental anxiety, and made the entire process as painless and pleasant as possible. Infected! Botched! Please find someone else to do your procedure. This office required payment prior to the procedure. Iwasiuk botched the procedure, and I ended up losing my tooth due to the infection contracted during the procedure. They never finished the work (as I no longer had my tooth), and will not refund my money. I have spoken to them a few times, but it is clear that MONEY is more important to them than patient care and moral standards. Sad but true. read more
