Came here for a basketball tournament. The parking situation can be clearer: the front lot got full really early, then you have to find your way to go to Lot C, which is right next to Atlantis Hotel. $10/day with in and out privilege. There is a different color card/receipt for each day. Wished there was a few more choices of food and beverages inside the convention center, like additional vendors, not only the two food trucks right outside the entrance. There are some merchandise vendors on the hallways leading to the courts, that was very good. Courts were quite slippery: expect that. The Atlantis Hotel has a sky-walkway directly to the convention center. That is the quickest and most convenient way to stay. Will come again for other events. Clean bathrooms and hallways. Polite staff and very helpful.

Back again to watch my daughter participate in the MPSF indoor races. Love the convenience of parking at the Atlantis and walking over the sky pass right into the convention center. I was a little shocked that the admission was seventeen dollars but it was worth it. They put a lot of money into building this indoor track! It's clean and beautiful They have healthy options for food even though I didn't partake in that today!

Quality/Quantity - HUGE convention center. I think this is only the second time I have been here. I remember you were large, but I did not remember THIS large. Sadly, only two small events were here this weekend. See pictures. We attended the Amazing Art Expo and "Just Between Friends" shows. Ambiance - Again, huge location. 600,000 square feet. Enough to fit 36k people. 53 meeting rooms. Thanks for the bridge connecting you to Atlantis. After visiting both shows, my wife and I spent some time in Atlantis. Plenty of free parking. Many events, see website. All concession stands were closed today. There were vending machines. Service - Self service today. Price - Shows/expos were free today. Parking was also free today. Thank you. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1965 and thank you for the remodel in 2009.

The only vendor I was interested in approaching at the job fair.

I've been to the Reno-Sparks Convention Center a handful of times, for different events, the most recent was for a job fair. I really like this convention center because it's so spacious and there's ample parking for attendees; it's especially convenient because it's located next to the Atlantis Hotel Casino, if the convention center parking seems full, we park at the Atlantis and just walk through the Atlantis.

Love this mural at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center.

Lots going on at the convention center this weekend. We went to the Reno Expo 2025, which is an RV, Boat, Home & Garden and Pet Show. So much to see and lots of treats and giveaways along the way. To my surprise there was also a Crystal Festival. So many vendors and such a cool variety of stones, crystals and jewelry of all sorts. Really fun and well worth the time!!

I really was hoping for more. I was very excited to go to my first nerdvention. It was a free anime/ gaming and horror/ gaming convention and had five voice actors. Coming in there were really no signs and it was super quiet the whole way there google was telling me they were closed. I was very worried I would get there to nothing.People showed up some in costume very cute. I worr my shinobu kocho (demonslayer) haori. There was quiet music and tables full of prints, funkpops, and stickers. Nothing crazy wonderful. They had pretty stuff that was like 80 but noy much. Would have loved more signage. Music, and fun. Also, more horror. Maybe cool themed snacks and drinks. Really had nothing I wanted to spend money on bummer. I was ready with cash as it was free. Still had a nice chill afternoon . It was like they didn't expect anyone to show up.

I'm embarrassed to admit that this is the first time I've ever been to the Reno Convention Center! I went to watch a Competitive Cheer Competition and was mostly pleased with the experience. Parking was a breeze and the organizers made getting to our seats easy. The "Showcase" was wonderful but the acoustics were a total zero. I'm not sure who was to blame for this mishap but they may as well have not had any acoustics at all. Other than this audio issue, the Reno Convention Center is a great place and I will be sure to pay closer attention to events held there and attend more often.

What a fantastic event this weekend at the home and garden and RV show at the Reno Sparks Convention Center. There were so many cool vendors and it was really a great event. Salty Paws Reno, healthy Doggie Ice cream and Treats with Jason, Sun-Cal Worldwide Shower Heads with Paul, Super Sleep Factory Direct Gel Beds with Joseph, knotty Pine Resorts in Lake Almanor and especially Ethan, Parts Manager with Lithia Chrysler Jeep of Reno, who showed me this very beautiful Bikini Peal Sahara Jeep Wrangler Hybrid. This Jeep was so awesome that on my way home from the Home Show, I drove straight to Lithia Chrysler Jeep of Reno, met Michael, a Five Star Salesman and I took a test drive the Bikini Peal 2024 Sahara Jeep Wrangler Hybrid. My first ever Hybrid test drive. It was a BLAST to drive this Jeep with a 2.0 Turbo in Hybrid mode. I felt total joy! Guess what...I bought the Jeep! I had such a great experience at Lithia Chrysler Jeep of Reno with Parts Manager Ethan, Salesman Extraordinaire Michael, Sales Manager Tony and Finance Manager Colby, that I am now proud Jeep Owner and a Lithia customer for life. Thank you to the Reno Sparks Convention Center for putting out such a great event with so many Five Star Vendors. This event gave me the opportunity to find and then purchase my new 2024 Bikini Peal Jeep Wrangler Hybrid. Julie A

    Ski swap!

I enjoyed this year's ski swap at the Reno Sparks Convention Center. Located across from the Atlantis Casino. Lots of choices and buyer excitement with our upcoming ski season right around the corner! Vendors were helpful. Proceeds helped the UNR ski team. I was looking cross country skis but none were at this event.

Nevada Independent Event (Discussion with Legislative Leaders) at the Reno Convention Center (March 2023)

Over my 40+ year professional career, I've attended countless meetings and large professional gatherings with Convention Centers, such as this one in Reno. The interiors of these cavernous spaces pretty much look the same (convention decorated or not), and until you step outside, you could be anywhere. Looking back at my convention center/host city experience, a few occasions come to mind: The overwhelming offerings of Las Vegas, the close-by Reading Market in Philadelphia, and attending a speech by Mikhail Gorbachev in San Francisco. Other host cities that were fun included Portland, Seattle, Montreal, Toronto, Minneapolis, Salt Lake City, Houston, New Orleans, Chicago, Anaheim, Orlando, Cincinnati, St. Louis, and Detroit. My key point is that a great convention is the right combination of professional enrichment inside and a fun and interesting city to explore outside. The Reno-Sparks Convention Center certainly has the goods inside to host a bunch of different events. There's also a direct inside connection to the Atlantis Casino/Hotel, which is a very good combination. Past that, there's not a lot of "there there" in the immediate area, and the really great regional offerings (Lake Tahoe area) are a long schlep away. I'm not one that wants to be isolated within a convention hall/hotel space for a multi-day meeting, so if Reno came up on a convention schedule, I might pass. Individual events for those of us that live in the area are another matter. Gayle and her friend Marti had a fine time while attending the Van Gogh experience (with a rabbit show down the hall) followed by a meal at the Atlantis Gayle and I were here yesterday for a Nevada Independent event (A conversation with legislative leaders) and very much enjoyed listening to a very well moderated and wide ranging dialog with Assembly Speaker Steve Yeager (D-Las Vegas), Senate Majority Leader Nicole Cannizzaro (D-Las Vegas), Senate Minority Leader Heidi Seevers Gansert (R-Reno) and Assembly Minority Floor Leader P.K. O'Neill (R-Carson City). The room was comfortable, the sight lines were good, but the sound system needed work at times. A no host bar in the main hall (at convention prices) was a nice touch as we intently listened to our elected leader of this purple state (Clark/Washoe Blue - the rest Red). Getting here from Genoa (and back) was relatively easy. It took a few turns but getting here from I-580/US 395 (and back) was straightforward. Parking was also easy to access and free. So as a locals event venue, I'm sure we'll look forward to coming back.

I was pleasantly surprised that Van Gogh the immersive experience came to Reno and we didn't have to go to Vegas or California to get the experience. The convention center was a great location for it.

But we were pleasantly mistaken - What used to be a bowling alley has now been repurposed into an absolute wonderland of an experience. It's a full blown kid friendly adult friendly haunted warehouse. My 4 year old son had an absolute blast, it starts of with a bit of trick or treating as your making your way through the adventure, then turns into a full on experience as each and every room has a theme from Jurassic park, aliens, robots, clowns, skeletons, a mirror room that I conveniently banged my head into, all the way to the super psychedelic tunnel.
