The fries are well-seasoned and the batter isn't overwhelming or too thick and the jalapeño bites were delicious. My wife got fried shrimp, which were crispy and light, and mac and cheese bites. The mac and cheese bites were solid. The lovely woman who runs this place was kind enough to slip dessert into our bag, and that was some ridiculously good chocolate cake. Chickpeas on top?? Yowza. Finally, you should follow Krisey's Kitchen on Facebook because she posts the daily menu there and posts updates. That's where I saw she has been not only feeding members of the community at no cost, but she's been organizing a free Thanksgiving dinner for the community. That's doing more for the community than most are doing, and that's the kind of business I want to support.

Thank you so much! I ordered a burrito La Taqueria style and it was amazing -- you did such a great…read morejob making it. The style I was trying to recreate was inspired by La Taqueria in San Francisco, a hugely popular and nationally recognized taqueria that has received major acclaim, including a James Beard Foundation America's Classics Award. They're especially famous for their distinctive burrito style: absolutely no rice, it takes away from the meat, just a simple flavorful filling, and the option to have the finished burrito made "Dorado style," where it's pressed on the flat-top until the tortilla gets golden, toasted, and crispy. That's the texture and flavor I was hoping for -- carne asada, refried beans, cheese, sour cream, pico de gallo, and that crispy grilled outside. Yours came really close to what I had in mind, and it tasted amazing. I really appreciate the care you put into making it, and I hope you can make it this same way again next time. Thank you!

8.5 /10 first experience…read more I usually don't divulge to PNW folks that I'm from CA lol but for this review it has to be known. Anyway Mexican food up here in the PNW is trash. It's not authentic by any means. I feel like they just cater to the demographic. I was in BG area and actually had cash on me so I pulled over to give them a try. This is the first spot that I've found to even be on the radar with back home quality. 1) they lightly toasted the the tortilla. 2) the meat was cut on the bias, thin, tender and full of flavor!! If they let it crisp up just a little more it would be next level. 3) they used real avocado slices not that nasty premade spread that has vinegar to preserve the color. Overall my burrito was delicious and it was filled great, equal beans/rice/meat ratio. Ps i ordered it without lettuce. I will absolutely be coming back to try tacos and other items. Review for salsas: I tried one of each (habanero, red and green). My favorite was the verde. It's the most flavorful. I usually like hot, hot, but won't compromise flavor. I would stick to the verde no matter what I order. I like that there's grassy patches. While I was waiting I was able to let my dog stretch her legs until the buzzer went off. The lady in the food truck was helpful and told me they have habanero as an option.

After indulging in their culinary wizardry, I'm convinced they don't just serve food--they dish out joy on biodegradable plates. I ordered the "It's All Gravy, Baby", and let me tell you, that name doesn't lie. This masterpiece is smothered in gravy so divine it could convert even the staunchest keto enthusiast. The biscuit was fluffy enough to double as a cloud pillow, the sausage robust and savory, and the egg perched on top like a crown jewel. Each bite was like a warm hug from the universe, whispering, "You're doing great." My wife opted for the "Drunken Puddin Pop", and if dessert for breakfast is wrong, then Brunch'd doesn't want to be right. It's a riotous party of flavors--bourbon caramel, creamy bread pudding, and just enough rebellious sweetness to make you wonder if this dish has a fake ID. Watching her devour it was like seeing someone reconnect with a long-lost love: tender, sweet, and slightly teary-eyed. The folks at Brunch'd don't just know how to cook--they know how to celebrate food. The service is cheerful, the vibe is upbeat, and the menu names alone deserve a standing ovation. If you're in Battle Ground and not eating here, I can only assume you're lost or have tragically misunderstood the concept of happiness. Five stars, a round of applause, and a heartfelt thank-you to Brunch'd for making brunch not just a meal, but a memory.

Came to this place because I am from KC and love bbq and also love to cook brisket myself. I also…read moreread a review that the brisket sandwich was pretty good here. I won't be coming back. The gentleman who runs the place is very friendly. I noticed the price for the special was $12.95 but then he told me it was $14.06 with tax. The sign that he has that states special of the day "brisket sandwich" $12.95 and does not state anything about plus tax at all. So that was a surprise. The other thing the sign does not say it comes with a small bag of lays chips either. I guess the chips he gives you is consolation for the fatty, salty, chewy, fatty small two pieces of brisket he puts on the sandwich. Plus who adds lettuce to a brisket sandwich anyways. I took two bites. The first bite was full of fat and tough chewy, salty brisket. The second bite the whole piece of fatty brisket came out from between the buns and the sandwich eating part for me was over. I left the bun, lettuce and pickles on the to go container and tried to choke down a bite or two of some of the salty, fatty, undercooked brisket that remained. To me, brisket should be tender and you should be able to gently bite into it and you get your bite. This was spongy and too tough to even bite into. Then, I went over to the taco truck and got a quesadilla because I was still hungry and their food was not much better either. Oh well not my day at the food carts in downtown Battleground Washington.
