I have been a customer of Republic speedshop ever since the new owners moved in. I maintain both my suv and sports car here because I truly believe the technician knows his stuff. Their price is way lower than dealerships with better service. My windshield washer fluid is always refilled, and they always give a full check over on tires, brakes, and other fluids. Recently I decided to wrap my sports car, and they performed an exceptional job. I cannot tell what the original color is, and the details are just so fantastic. I highly recommend their vinyl job. This place was highly recommended to me by a friend who had some Tesla accessories installed. I got the auto frunk, swivel mount for the screen and also a rear entertainment for the kids. They were able to get all 3 done in just a little over 2 hours. An added bonus, they installed my carbon fiber rear spoiler for me for free that's been sitting in my trunk for months. The price was very reasonable for the amount of work they did. I was pleasantly surprised at how quick it was to get all 3 mods done. The owner Ed is super easy to work with and very accommodating. I couldn't be happier with the service and the outcome of the mods. I can't stress enough how useful the auto frunk opener/closer is. A very useful addon for anyone with a model 3 or model Y. I'll be coming back for any future Tesla mods or if I'm ever in the market for vinyl wraps or PPF. The type of cars that comes in tells you the quality of work they do. After previously ordering $4100 worth of product from Performance Speedshop, aka Republic Speedshop. I only had one item (rear spoiler) with fitment issues, but the owner was willing to work with me after I posted a negative review (HINT HINT), which he then asked that I remove the negative review. Days later... Owner / Operator recommended this part "CMST Porsche Boxster 718 2016-ON Carbon Fiber Rear Spoiler" for my 718 Boxster was a total bust, post receiving the part, I took it over to my fab-tech guys (body shop) - during pre-fit (mock) the part didn't fit. Even if installed (forcibly), which meant gluing it onto the stock OE spoiler, the part itself would not one of two: a) not lower completely; b) once lowered, it would rub/scratch or worst, fly off during excessive speeds. With a car like this, everyday driving is "excessive"... Regardless, would you chance the part flying off post installation? This is what the fab-tech guys feel would likely happen, thus they deem it not worthy of an install. So, I messaged the owner and we spoke about a return / refund due to the questionable install integrity, during several back & forth messages, he agreed. As days went by with no return label I reached out for a status update, but he kept saying he'd send out the Return Label tomorrow, until he finally ghosted me ;) - kids stuff. Took my Tesla YLR to have the Hansshow auto present door handles installed. They worked with me for date I needed since I live over an hour away. I wanted to make sure someone was installing who had done it before and I knew Mars had done his own. Wow, great service, scheduled with Ed and they had the car done in about 4 hours which was great for this job. Love my handles....thinking about when I can schedule a wrap!! They deserve negative stars. They posted an ad on Facebook with photos stating 1" carbon fiber hood with glass was 1280.00 and either pick up for free or they would ship for 300.00. I inquired to buy at which time I was given a price of 1380.00 I said well ad shows 1280. So agreed to honor price then they said would be 377.00 to ship when ad clearly stated 300.00 it did not say 300+ or inquire for shipping quote clearly said 300.00 for shipping. This is a bad way to do business. After all was said and done they offered to graciously split the different with me, what difference I was willing to pay what the ad clearly states and what you'd say you'd honor the 1280. Plus 300. There was nothing to SPLIT!!!! Stay away from this business anyone who won't honor what they clearly print even after saying they would honor it doesn't deserve anyone's hard earned money. If they can't be honest and conduct business with some type of moral code I won't give them any business. Then after I spoke he put a comment that price was 1380., they didn't change ad they added a comment but again only after we went back and forth. read more
