I wouldn't even rate 1 star if I didn't have to. Sure they were friendly, prompt etc., however there expertise when it came to replacing our pressure tank and getting things back up in running order was a fiasco! Nearly 2 years later and we are STILL dealing with the outcome - as we couldn't afford our entire water system to be replaced and are having to deal with it ourselves as we can afford. Hindsight we should have sued them, but it is what it is. All that said, I wouldn't recommend them for any major service requirements PERIOD! read more

My mom is in her late 70's and lives in a 55+ manufactured home community in Moses Lake. She's had problems with her kitchen sink over the last three or four years and I suspected it had something to do with how her garbage disposal was installed but it never got bad enough to really do anything about it. Recently her dishwasher started getting water inside even when she wasn't using it and leaking onto the floor. I contacted Rescue Plumbing after seeing they had good reviews on Yelp and had them go over to take a look for me. I live north of Seattle and couldn't get over there right away. They identified that the dishwasher wasn't hooked up correctly and water was backflowing through the drain hose into the washer. They also noticed the garbage disposal was indeed hooked up incorrectly with the wrong p-trap which was adding to the problem. They described to me over the phone what the problem was and went to work replumbing everything under the sink and repositioning the dishwasher drain hose so that it wouldn't backfill. Everything is working great now as it should and they gave me a military discount since I am retired military. My mom sent me pictures and it looks great! The technician was thorough, professional and did a great job! Very nice experience! read more

This family owned business does top notch work. I have had them do several jobs for us including installing a saltless soft water system. They really know what they are doing. Also, they were able to figure out a tub draining problem that had been an ongoing issue for 30 years! Horrible, I mean horrible customer service I guess eric is amazing at gluing pipes together but his manner is condescending, unacceptable and beyond rude! Clearly doesn't pay attention when you talk to him. Belittling to the store owner. They can be half the price of the next guy and we still will never use them!! Appears you they don't have an Office where they answer the phones. Phone service takes calls them hand out the calls to the plumbers. Beware.!!! read more

Assisted with installation of new sink and faucet during my renovation of my kitchen. Everything is working well.

I had a waterline break right at the start of the holidays - not fun for anyone, let alone a contractor. I called Rescue at the recommendation of my neighbor after receiving an uncomfortable analysis elsewhere. I received a immediate call back from Eric and a promise to get out and see what was up the next morning. After assessing the situation first thing the next morning, Eric suggested we bring in the expertise of a specialist to ty to make sure we took the most cost effective approach. (One body of thought would have had me tearing up the ground between the shut off at the street and the house, Eric thought there was a good enough chance that the special technology he was proposing could eliminate that cost and time - and he was right!) That decision saved me a great deal of money and shortened the time to completion of the job substantially. In addition to the great service, Cari who handles all of the administrative activities for Rescue was also great to work with. She was all over the details and when there was some confusion on the status of bills as a result of the different ways in which insurance was involved, she quickly figured it out and helped me get everything squared away. The contracting business is tough and there are lots of things that can make an experience go well or poorly. Rescue doe a great job of staying ahead of all of it and our experience was exceptional. I can't say enough good things about Rescue Plumbing. We were remodeling my husbands rental house when I suspected a leak under the bathtub. My husband called several plumbers and this company was the first to actually answer the phone. He was able to arrange a service call for the following day. Eric Jr and his helper arrived the following morning earlier than the estimated time given to us. Besides finding and fixing the leak, Eric asked if there were any other concerns. I pointed out several other things I was hoping to get replaced or fixed with other plumbing matters. They took care of all my needs that very day. Three weeks later we had another leak. (42 yr. old house) We were already scheduled for a service call to re-install the toilet after the new flooring was in. Again, Eric Jr. did a great job. Completely useless to me. They refused to give me an accurate estimate. My pipes froze over and burst entirely, but instead of getting things up and running again they simply told me I had the problem I was already aware of and offered a fix all or nothing approach where they wanted to replace everything or do nothing at all. I was charged $192+ change for them to tell me that yes, I had no more water flow at my home - as if I did not already know this. Their company does not accept payments. I was told I needed to come up with anywhere from $2K to $5K+ for repairs upfront. Maybe it was closer to the $5K estimate - this is what I was told by their receptionist. The difference between $2K and $5K is quite a bit for the average family to pull out of pocket - yet I was expected to take their word for it and pull all expenses out of pocket immediately regardless of the number they gave me. I have three children and no running water in my home and they did not even attempt to get a basic trickle running before they left. Nearly $200 for an assessment for them to tell me to call someone else to fix my problems. That is what they told me repeatedly. To find someone else to fix my problems and hope for the best. read more

They sent Terry, who is an absolute powerhouse. He worked as fast as he could, fixed our plumbing the way it should have been done years ago, and got the job done correctly in record time.
