I love these guys so much! They really are looking out for your best interest. I have a honda civic 2016, and the ac broke a year ago, I took it to the dealership to get it fixed and the total was $ 1500!! I didn't want to spend that much AGAIN a year later . These guys quoted me way less to fix the problem and they even tried to help me get it covered by Honda's warranty on the parts but unfortunately my car was too old . The dealership sucks!! RED FLAG Hector was not upfront about $65 estimate fee l; when I spoke to Hector on the phone days ago about my AC issue he said to bring it in so they can check it out and see if he could weld the line or if it needs to be replaced without mention of a fee. My neighbor recommended him, so today I drove 30 min in 95° heat to only be told of a fee, which the guy in the office Tony said he would waive so he doesn't lose me as a customer (I don't have $65 til payday Fri, so I sat down, otherwise I had to leave). In the waiting room 2 min later, Hector calls me directly to tell me again (why though?) that they charge $65, and when I asked why he didn't tell me that on the phone, he took no accountability and said flippantly, "well everybody charges a fee." I left right away because a red flag is a great reason to find a better place with a solid first impression. His reply to my review speaks for itself, where he insults me and says the fee is the reason I left. I left because I don't like how he handled our first 2 interactions. Bad vibe for me. Yes, businesses get reviewed on their customer service skills or lack thereof, Hector. I went to another shop with free estimates advertised. My neighbor didn't know about the fee, either when I told her what happened. read more

This place is beyond incompetent and dishonest. After taking my BMW to a specialist. I found out that Alex not only stole my windshield wipers but more costly he broke my HVAC box. He obviously didn't know what he was doing besides being a thief. Now I am going to have deal with a very costly repair to have it replaced and installed because the entire dashboard has to be removed. The owner is gaslighting me and will not take responsibility. I had a really frustrating experience wasting 3 hours of my life at another repair shop where they said they actually didn't have the tools to fix my car. (Not sure what took them so long to figure that out lol) but they referred me here and Tony was very kind and understanding. Got me right in and fixed me up quickly! I had gotten a referral to Reseda Auto AC from a friend after I had gotten a bad recharge at a oil change shop, it turned out the shop never did a pressure test on my system so the refrigerant leaked out after two weeks. So I found the business card and stopped by at Reseda AC, and got great service. Bryan explained the $65 diagnostic fee and that it would be rolled in to the bill, so I let them take my car in. They found the leaking valves, replaced the valves and refilled the refrigerant; all this was done in less than 2 hours in the middle of a business day. Car is blowing cold air like it did when new 13 years ago, and I didn't have to spend a half day or even make appointment for a return visit. In retrospect, I should have come here first. From now on, I'll bring my cars to Reseda AC, don't settle for just anyone who claims to recharge A/C. read more

I never write reviews, but this service at this place was so horrible I had to let others know. For the record, this place has many "5 Star Reviews" because they offer a discount on the invoice when you submit a "5 Star Review". My cars AC was blowing just slightly cold air, wanted to bring it in the to shop to get ready for a hot summer. I knew there was a leak in some lines ahead of this appointment. The manger at the shop, "Bryan" took the car in without much acknowledgement of me or asking me any questions about the car. About an hour later he comes back and says, "It's going to be $500 to fix it." Simple as that, no breakdown of what labor/parts breakdown is. When I ask him to break it down for me, he's extremely short with me and annoyed at my question. It's two AC lines that are coming out of my compressor that need to be replaced. He claims that they are able to get one of the hoses new, but the other one is discontinued. They will need to repair that hose themselves. I state to him, I will need to see this repair job on this hose when it's all done before it goes back into my car, after paying all this money I would like to see the quality of the work. It's also absurd to spend all this money just to have one new hose, and one "repaired"... "We don't do that, we never have customers ask for that" he states. When I ask him for part numbers of the houses, he also explains, "We don't do part numbers" In the process they evacuated my AC system of the small amount of refrigerant it had, something that had to have been done. But they claimed my car never had any in it, which was a lie. The car blew slightly cold air, even before I brought it in, in 90F weather. He refused to put any back in. I promptly left after paying the diagnostic fee, and went right to the dealership where they were quickly able to get me the part number for the two houses.
