Been coming here for about 3-4 years now. Never really had issues until yesterday. The staff has always been nice and friendly. But I brought my Subaru in for the typical oil change this past, hot Sunday. They didn't tell me until AFTER the fact. But they accidentally drained my CVT fluid (which is a big deal for Subarus). I don't know what they replaced the fluid with since the fluid wasn't listed on the invoice. My car started to make a "whizzing" noise from the CVT area while slowly ascending an incline. This noise hasn't previously happened in the past. I was already planning to bring it into Subaru for a CVT fluid flush. But this mistake by Valvoline made it mandatory for me. So I'm bringing it into Subaru tomorrow. I'm hoping that the transmission fluid they used hasn't caused any damage. I don't know if it was just the hot weather. But I can't trust them enough to go back to them now. I'm hoping no real damage was done to my CVT. read more

Whenever a light comes on your car saying that it needs service, it's always mildly stressful but Valvoline just makes it easy. I needed to get an oil change, transmission oil, and engine coolant. I called ahead of time to get a quote and Valvoline was priced more reasonably than all other mechanic shops in the area. I headed over, got the service done, and was back at home about an hour later. I love that you can just stay in your car while they work on your car - I brought my kindle with me so I can read. At most other mechanic shops, you have to drop off your car with them for hours which is a lot less convenient. They also frequently have coupons. If you call them, they can send one to you via phone or email. read more

This location is always professional and quick. As a single mom with kids in the car, it's extremely convenient to get my car serviced here. They never over recommend services either, they scan your car and mileage and tell you exactly what you need. I don't usually visit this Valvoline location, but I had such a great experience. Marcus and Sage were absolutely fantastic. Marcus provided outstanding customer service from start to finish, making me feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout my visit. Sage was incredible with the work performed on my car. I needed a headlight replaced and it's usually a difficult and time consuming process to get the old bulb out. To my surprise, Sage had it done in less than three minutes! I was genuinely blown away and extremely grateful because it's always a headache. I always leave a Valvoline location feeling better about my vehicle, but today's experience was truly exceptional. I've been using this place for years. Today I went in to do a courtesy check on my tires and oil. Today, I was told that the courtesy check is $9.95. These individuals clearly don't care about their customers or their vehicles. I went in for an oil change earlier this week and was out in 25 minutes, but later discovered my car was leaking oil. Upon inspection, I found the leak was coming from the filter. It looks like they just tightened the filter with a rag, which got caught in the process. Instead of properly replacing it, they decided to cut it, assuming I wouldn't notice. To make matters worse, they also damaged my housing. The works on my car were - bottomside: Brandon - topside: Brandon and domike I called asking if I can get a refund on my oil service, because I had to pay again in order to replace the housing, filter, and add oil. They hung up on me and refused to provide any sort of compensation. read more

What I have always loved about this place is that I do not ever feel pressured to do anything that is not entirely necessary or guilty if I don't want to take recommendations. They are very thorough in what they go over with you, and are incredibly honest when it comes to Services that do or do not need to be performed. I went in today and was helped primarily by Alonzell (I really hope I am spelling that right). He was incredibly nice, but I just wanted to review because I felt like he kind of went the extra mile because some of the things I needed were a little bit more expensive than normal, and he helped me through what was most important for today. As always, he was very thorough in explaining everything they were doing and every recommendation they had. I've been nervous to come back to Valvoline after a bad experience, but this time was a true 360. When I pulled up everyone was very friendly. The person working on my car was very knowledgeable about everything. He showed me how to make my car notify me of when I need an oil change, something that no one's ever told me before as many times as I've gotten my car worked on. I have over 200k miles lol. But overall he made sure everything was checked. All of the workers had a good attitude, when the manager came to the site he had a good relationship with the workers. It gave off the vibe that everyone actually didn't mind coming to work. Like they enjoyed their job. And the customer service matched. Everyone was happy. I'm so shocked because in California everyone tends to be a little unhappy and it comes off in conversation. It was truly joy in this work environment and it turned my bad day good. The value for what I got done to my car was good. But the value of the experience surpassed any expectations! Zelly was who worked on my car and was very kind!
