Amazing chiropractor, I've been getting adjusted by Dr. Resendez since I was about 17 years old and had extreme migraines since I was 6 years old within a year of treatment my migraines resolved and now that I'm 34 and have two kids I continue with my care. I'm extremely greatful for the care he has taken of my spine. I'm a strong believer of chiropractic care for the whole family not just for those in pain. Even tho I now live very far from his office, I still make a trip down to San Diego every once in a while to get adjusted. The ironic thing, the adjustment he gave me made me feel really good. Unfortunately, I did not care for Mr. Resendez communication style. He was very steadfast about me fighting insurance to pay for his treatment. I explained I wanted to pay cash and he said: "why are you letting them push you around". I feel like Doctor Resendez gave me my life back. It's not a exaggeration when I say this, those of you who have suffered of sciatic pain know how excruciating and debilitating it can be. My right leg was in pain from my lower back to my heel. So severe I was unable to go to work. As soon as he adjusted me I felt immediate relief. What ever you do, your better off looking for another chiropractor! The only reason I went was because he was around the area. Well let's first start off with my worst experience, he is very unprofessional, and does not care about his client nor does he show respect with his receptionist, the first day I went I walked into the place its very stuffy no windows at all so I feel very claustrophobic, I don't pay any mind to it, the rooms are very dirty, I had to lay on a couch which had stains and dirt from the previous people that had gone. So I just filled out some papers , he cracked my neck, I only spend about 5 min talking about my injure, he was very interested in the insurance and if I was at fault though, the second day I thought to myself okay maybe I'm just being picky, I went the second time, I even had taken one of my towels so I wouldn't have to lay my face on his filthy couch, he was 30 min late yes I understand 15min late but 30 really, (he wasn't even in the building) so by then I'm feeling like he's not coming, he storms in the door he is sweating and I tell him I am not feeling well he yells at his front desk receptionist why I wasn't put on he chair "for a massage " she then comes in the room and tell me she needs to put me on the chair for 20 min I'm guessing till he cools off since he was sweating, ( the place is very small so you can hear everything) he comes in the room and keep in mind the receptionist is right behind she tells me come lets get you on the massage chair he rudely interrupted and started yelling at her that she was suppose to do that when I had came in, which I did tell him that I did not want to go on the massage chair because that's not what I'm there for I'm here to see him, specifically for my neck and shoulder, ( since I was in a car accident ) I'm short and thoughs chairs are never my size. He argues with me and tells me that im not following what he is prescribing me to do. I still mentioned to him that I didn't feel good and that I was leaving , a week later I receive a letter from Thomas Resendez has billed me for ******$$$$$ 660.00 $$******** Really ? ?? I believe since I was in a car accident he said well I'll charge the insurance more, I don't believe this is right and no one should support his Bussiness, to me it seems like he steals from his customers and insurances. Hopefully this is helpful I had never written a review on yelp. Good thing I read on Resenzes wall to take the time to write a review I wish I could have translated this in Spanish since it is in a Spanish community! i was having jaw pain since i was assaulted a year back, and low back pain and at first i knew nothing of chiropractic and wasnt so sure if this would help but once i came met the doctor he was very detailed on what was wrong with my back and jaw took xrays staff was very nice and welcoming he gave me my first adjustment in my life and let me tell you i have never felt such power feeling shoot through my spine like a shock but not a bad one i actually felt relaxed i went from feeling tense and balled up to complete relaxed he then adjusted my jaw everyday i wake up my jaw was locked took time to be able to open it well he adjusted it and after 4 adjustments issue resolved i no longer have jaw pain and back pain i just go to maintan and not have this issue again i highly recommend chiropractic and recommend dr resendez did i mention he has the best hands he wont be rough his touch is gentle something many prefer this man knows what hes doing read more
