This hotel has great staff. I'm titanium/lifetime platinum so I've stayed with my fair share of marriott brand hotels. This one has really great staff from Rick the manager helping to accommodate me into a certain room type, Malique the bar tender is fun to chat with while he's slinging good food and drinks, and Aspen has got to be the most helpful night attendant I've had the pleasure of interacting with! Breakfast is not massive, but if you take a bagel or muffin, toast it, spread butter + cream cheese, add bacon, egg, cheese, hot sauce.. you've got a pretty tasty breakfast sando.

I was able to get a refund on one of the charges, but they then convinced my credit card company that I had "canceled" one room (too late for a refund), while simultaneously booking a "new" room for that night, which is why both charges should be "valid". I can't get ANYONE from the hotel to contact me regarding this. Traveler beware. They don't care for their guests, they will bilk you out of as much as they can. Room rate was supposed to be $130+, but I was ultimately charged over $500 for one night.

So far I'm very unimpressed, slightly disgusted and annoyed at the rates for this hotel. They said…read morethey don't have normal room service, they only clean rooms once every 3 days. The shower drain is backing up. When I just took a shower, I had to stand in dirty water. The refrigerator is barely keeping anything cold and is freezing over on the inside. I went to lay down and I found jelly on the side of the nightstand next to the bed! The bathroom configuration with the toilet and shower separated and having the sink's faucet offset, is ridiculous. Then at night when I want to wind down and watch tv from my bed I can't because the TV is so far off to the side I can't barely see it. I have paid far less to stay at Marriot hotels with much better conditions. I assume since there's an event in town - Marriott decided to price gouge instead of charging a reasonable rate for a very poorly managed hotel. Update: Their breakfast is about as desirable as the rest of the hotel. There was hardly anything to choose from. They had breakfast sandwiches that were soggy and cold. The oatmeal was dried out. Of course your standard powdered eggs and sausage patties. The area with cereal look like it had exploded because no one was cleaning up any messes. No bagels or breakfast pastries, just English muffins. Usually I'd just grab a yogurt but they didn't even have that. What was really upsetting is when the lady who was supposed to be restocking everything couldn't restock food for everyone but brought ONE person like 2 dozen sausage patties but can't restock food for anyone else? Breakfast wasn't stocked ANY day we were there. (Reduced to 2 stars) Update 2: I'm assuming this is a pet friendly hotel but pet friendly shouldn't mean I have to listen to a dog barking all night in a room next to me. Normally I can sleep decent but I slept horrible from the beds and pillows being super uncomfortable. The hotel shakes every day around noon to 2pm, I thought it was an earthquake at first, no clue what that was about. So be aware of that if you try to take a nap mid-day. (Reduced to 1 star) I noticed on their website that the manager responds to complaints, but there are similar complaint by a lot of people. I can't believe we spent $1k to stay here and not have any amenities as simple as daily room service, a decent breakfast, clean room, working refrigerator, drains that aren't backed up, etc. Also, the upholstered furniture in the room is disgusting and needs to be cleaned.

The hotel is located across the street from the Anschutz Medical Campus. They keep the entrance locked at all times. If you don't have a key card to enter, the front desk staff will buzz you in. Upon my arrival, I received a complimentary bottle of water which I appreciated. When I got to my room, I tried to turn on the TV, however it wouldn't work. Maintenance came up pretty quickly to fix the issue. Somehow my room did not have the correct remote for the TV. Luckily they were able to find a remote that did work with the TV so that was a relief. The room was nice, spacious, and clean. It had a microwave, mini fridge, and a little coffee bar. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. They offered complimentary breakfast each morning. The food was mediocre, but I did appreciate the fact that they had a good amount of offerings like eggs, ham, pastries, cereal, and yogurt. I stopped by the H Bar (located in the lobby) for happy hour. I didn't order any food, but I did have a French 75 which I enjoyed. I had a comfortable stay at the Hyatt House.

So helpful in saving money being able to make stuff in the hotel. The supplies is limited though, so keeping that in mind. Housekeeping only comes every other day, you have to go down to the front desk to get extra things as they don't run it up to you. Love how the beds are in a separate room with a door so that when the kids went to bed I could still hang out with my husband in the living room. It truly felt like a home away from home. Would love to stay here again.

So long as the atrium architecture remains, we highly recommend this wonderful property, with its unusually upscale rooms. Shuttle to DIA, very nice. Good restaurant and bar. She made the driver leave the food at the front desk but did not call the room or contact the person whose information was on file to let us know it had arrived. When we called and asked that the driver be allowed to deliver the food to the room, Ahnya hung up on us twice. She was incredibly rude, dismissively told us, "It is what it is," and showed absolutely no concern for an elderly guest who was waiting for her meal. This came after we arrived to discover that the hotel was under construction, despite receiving no adequate advance notice. We were allowed to swipe our cards and commit to the stay without being properly informed about the hotel's condition or being given a fair opportunity to decide whether we still wanted to stay. When we raised our concerns, we were essentially told that "policy is policy" and that the property is changing to a Sheraton anyway, so it supposedly would not matter if we contacted corporate. That response speaks volumes about the complete lack of accountability, professionalism, and respect shown to guests. Although the rooms were clean, that is the only positive thing I can say. There were no meaningful amenities, no consideration for an elderly guest, no courtesy, and some of the worst customer service we have ever experienced. A clean room does not excuse treating guests--especially an 84-year-old woman--with such indifference and disrespect. If you're looking for an argument on every front then this is the place for you. Avoid this hotel.

Let's start with the good. The room itself was clean and the staff was accommodating. The reason I…read morechose this hotel was because it's located near my friend's home. CONS: the hotel itself has a program that lets homeless people stay here. I was in line to check in and saw one person come out and signal another to go with him and 30 seconds later they come back out and with one of them holding a baggie. Yes they just did a drug transaction. At night it doesn't feel safe at all and one night in particular my friend and I went to get something from the car and we heard a loud noise sounded like a gunshot. Then a car came speeding up towards the entrance and a woman screaming for her gun back to the passenger who got out of the car. This location feels very unsafe. This is unfortunate because from what I hear Denver has programs to keep homeless people off the streets but it kind of feels like it just enabling people to continue with bad behaviors just in hotels. I will not be coming back to this hotel and hope the next hotel does not have a program similar to this one.
