Spacious rooms, clean and recently updated.

Been using this hotel on and off for all Tucson stays over the past 10 years. Held classes here when they had the conference room up front, now turned into the gym. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Rooms are refreshed recently and very clean with all amenities. Full kitchens, fridge freezers, stove, ovens, ice maker, coffee maker, dishwasher, all kitchen amenities. Rooms and bathrooms are big. Double room suits are really big, i think there are 2 per floor. Breakfast is decent still, nice buffet style with very good hours. Well stocked. Handy for being far enough from the I10 to be in a niecer area and close by many restaurants and bars in walking distance. Close to the airbase, short drive to Casino Del Sol and downtown area.

The staff is great. When we walked in the room it stunk. Like sewage. We opened the windows. Sprayed with fabreeze. Ran the dishwasher, sinks and flushed toilets. Took some time to air out. The mattress sagged on one side. Had a sore back. The mattress needs replacing. We had to go get toilet paper and dish soap from the front desk. Paid extra for better internet and it was terrible. A total waste. A disappointing stay. I am grateful for the front desk staff. Not sure about the rest. Three stars instead of two because of the front staff and the room was clean.

Arrived at this hotel on our scheduled check in date only to be told that we checked in the day prior using a mobile check in. We were not even in the Tucson area or the state of Arizona the day prior, so who checked in under our reservation? Talk about creepy! After questioning more about who checked in under our reservation, we were told to call the customer service line. Called the customer service line, only to be told to talk to the manager. The manager was the one who told us that we supposedly checked in using a mobile check in the day prior when we were not even in the state yet! Aren't they required to check ID upon check in? Who checked in under our reservation will remain a mystery since we did not get any answers. The only answer we got was that our 3 day reservation was now a 2 day reservation because someone used the first night when we were not even there! The hotel itself was repulsive! It smelled terrible inside. The room was visibly dirty. Hairs all over the toilet and on the shower walls. The floor was broken - every time you took a step, you could feel the floor buckling under your feet. The pull out sofa couch was in terrible condition - the cushioning was hard as sleeping on the floor! The AC unit was loud and it even turned on after we turned it off! The refrigerator buzzed all night. It sounded like Sasquatch was using the room above us - every time the person took a step it sounded like they were about to fall through! The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in she shower are refillable large bottles that all guests are using! Ew! The shampoo was scented and very perfumey - it completely burned my eyes! They only gave one bar of soap! The hallways were disgusting with carpet stains and terrible odors. The elevators stunk! The parking lot was so sketchy, we parked only where we could keep an eye on our car through the hotel room windows! There were weird people setting up lawn chairs and just sitting in the parking lot all day as if they were casing the place. The hotel breakfast was a total joke! Looked like they went to a Circle K and bought pre-packaged snack foods to serve guests. Because of COVID, they claimed they could not provide the traditional continental breakfast, so everything was a grab & go pre-packaged item. Well, you better take a ton of the snack foods because each item barely had any calories to hold you for the morning. We were starving! Seriously starving because there was so little for breakfast! The TV remote was supposedly sanitized and sealed, however it was not sealed when we entered our room. They are advertising that there are sanitizing wipes available in the room, yet there were not sanitizing wipes anywhere to be found! Other guests were walking up and down the hallways all night playing music loudly and someone repeatedly tried to enter our room after midnight! As soon as we arrived at this hotel, we could not wait to leave! Horrible, horrible, horrible experience! Will NEVER return and/or recommend!

Quite hotel, very great staff. I love the free breakfast, it is different everyday but has something for everyone and the little breakfast books are perfect and relaxing. Pool is nice and quite and the basketball hoop is a good addition the plays have been playing since we got here.

Free burgers, hot dogs, beer, and wine on Wednesday nights.

I stayed here for little over 3 weeks on business. It's an older Residence Inn, but still well appointed. PRO: Very friendly staff, and very accommodating. The breakfast and dinner crew were very friendly, and always willing to accommodate requests. Housekeeping crew were also friendly and helpful. I had a few packages delivered to me here, and the front desk staff called me immediately when they arrived. The pool and spa were kept clean, as was the gym. The hotel grounds at large were kept clean and trimmed. Our room was also well cleaned and maintained. Withing walking distance to many restaurants, coffee shops, and other amenities. CON: Lots of families with kids staying here. Can be crowded with kids during breakfast, but parents seem to keep them in line. Footsteps can be heard from rooms above. Bathroom fan was noisy. Our dishwasher wasn't mounted in; it kept rocking back and forth. It's cumbersome to drive into downtown from here due to the many traffic lights you have to get through. Overall, my wife and I loved it here, mostly for the friendly staff, cleanliness, and walking distance to restaurants and coffee shops. I stayed here recently for a week-long business trip to Tucson, and my one-bedroom suite was comfortable, clean and stocked with amenities such as a flat-screen TV in the bedroom and living room, a fully-furnished kitchen, and free wired Internet access. All the furniture looked new, as did all the bathroom and kitchen fixtures. Parking is free, which is a nice plus. Hotels near the university and downtown charge daily parking rates of $11-$20. My 4th-floor suite at the Residence Inn-Williams Centre overlooked a new corporate park. It was pretty quiet, even though the guests across the hall from me had a dog (many Marriotts allows dogs for a nonrefundable fee). And we had quite a spread for breakfast: eggs, potatoes, bacon/sausage, french toast, hot/cold cereals, yogurt, fruit, muffins, coffee and three different kinds of juice. One can also make waffles. One thought: While we had ceramic dishes and real flatware in our suites, at breakfast, we ate off of black styrofoam plates, with plastic cutlery. That's a lot to dump in a landfill at the end of the day. I wish Marriott would replace the plastic with real plates and cutlery to cut down on environmental damage. The gym was narrow, but had room for several treadmills, an elliptical machine, and a decent variety of free weights. Gym hours are stated as 5 a.m. to 11 p.m., but if you're there at midnight to get in a 5-mile run at the end of a long work day, as I was one night, you won't get kicked out. Staff is friendly and professional overall. The check-out clerk, without my asking, upgraded me from a studio to a one-bedroom suite at no charge. Always a nice way to get introduced to a hotel. Also, when I walked into my suite, housekeeping had already turned down my bed and turned on the clock radio to play jazz from the local NPR station. Overall, I had an excellent stay here. The only caveat is that you're about 8 miles - or a 10-15 minute drive - to the university and downtown. But if you build in a little extra travel time for that, this hotel is hard to beat.

I love that it is a single-story motel, meaning you don't have to listen to the neighbors walking above you all night. Also, they have gone out of their way to make things kitschy, artsy, and cool. There is art everywhere, including fun little treats like chalk and chalkboards in the room. The rooms are functional but not fancy. There isn't carpet (a benefit in my opinion), the shower is small, but has excellent pressure. I will say the beds are incredibly comfortable. Everything was clean. We had a small (retro-style of course) fridge in the room. And even though there was just a window unit, our room maintained a comfortable temperature. (Although it wasn't that hot. I am not sure how it would be in the summer.) I do love that they only have keypads, no actual keys, which made it really convenient to go in and out. There is also a little bistro set by the front door, which is delightful for sipping coffee (or eating your free oatmeal) in the morning. The common areas are fun, decorated with a lot of cool art and old school kitsch. The pool is heated saltwater, which is good for the cooler months, but kind of a bummer in the hotter months (aka most of the year) because it was only April but the pool felt like bathwater. You can't bring your own drinks to the pool area, but they have a lot of drinks for sale in the lobby (beer, wine, cider, no hard liquor), and the prices are quite reasonable. And the oatmeal bar in the morning is tons of fun. Service is slightly hit or miss. Some of the employees were amazing (shout out to Alex!), but some kind of felt like they were going through the motions. All in all, this is a good value motel, and I would stay there again.

I learned that Geaduate is a boutique chain in which each location selects a school, a city's vibe, and pop culture to guide its decor, so now I want to visit them all. I am so impressed with how the interior designers pulled the theme into the little details of the decor. The decor made me so happy. I will admit I am a plant person, so anytime plants are used well in decor, I am happy, and this place had cacti in lots of little and big spaces. I think the Graduate should create a digital and maybe physical hall pass that gets stamped at each unique boutique location, kind of like the national park pass book or the state capital building passbook. We were here for pleasure, and the friendly hotel staff greeted us every time we walked in or out. Cleanliness & Maintenance: The staff keeps this place spotless. We were lucky enough to have the Mountain View, and it was spectacular. I love the colors, which complement the dessert landscape. Our bathroom was well stocked, and your knees don't hit anything when you sit down to pee. The shower is spacious, and the water pressure is high. Location Relevance: The Graduate at Tucson is walking distance (less than a mile) to the University of Arizona, which I learned is the Wildcats. You can walk to some restaurants, shopping, and bars. We were there when school was not in session, so there was a normal number of people everywhere.

There really isn't a lot in the immediate area of much interest; most of the best that Tucson has to offer is in the greater metro area, not the downtown core. But it is nice that they offer ample parking just steps from your room at no extra charge. The building looks nice from the outside, with its retro mod style and landscaped courtyard. The bar has very limited hours in the summer, but does have a nice drink menu and makes a good spot to hang out. The room was a bit sparse in my opinion. I was under the impression from the website that there would be a nook with a chair for reading, but my room didn't have one. It just had the bed, a couple of nightstands, a dresser, a mini-fridge, and a narrow desk. There's no closet, just a couple of hooks on the wall. The bathroom was basic, with a prefab shower unit. The decor is limited to a couple of vintage lamps and some patterned fabric for the curtains. The bed was comfortable enough and the air conditioner was wonderful at keeping it cool. There's a window next to the door with a top block that isn't covered by a shade, so anyone could stand on a stool from outside and look in the room. I went looking for ice at about 3pm one afternoon. I knew the bar was closed that day, but the entire front office area was locked and no one was around. The inn itself is a charming historic home in downtown Tucson. The neighborhood felt quiet, and was a convenient location for exploring the area. We stayed in the Pennington Room, which was comfortable overall, and there were several aspects of the property we genuinely enjoyed. Unfortunately, our check-in experience overshadowed the rest of our stay. We booked and prepaid our reservation through Priceline, which is a common booking method for travelers. Before our trip (July 1-5), I called the inn on June 20 to confirm our reservation, let them know we would be arriving late, and request a breakfast basket for the following morning since we planned to sleep in. They confirmed everything, including our reservation, breakfast request, and even provided our door codes. When we arrived that evening, we were locked out. I called the owner, who answered, but told me Priceline had canceled our reservation. The next 45 minutes to an hour consisted of multiple phone calls, requests for my payment information, and confusion over whether we even had a room. Eventually, after speaking with the manager, they acknowledged the issue was on their end and let us into our room. After traveling all day in the Arizona summer heat, it was frustrating to arrive at a room that had not been prepared for our arrival. The air conditioning had not been turned on, the room was extremely warm, and the sheets had black streaks on them that looked like ink marks. The breakfast basket we had requested in advance was also missing. The following morning, I contacted Priceline directly. They confirmed my reservation had never been canceled and that everything was correct on their end. Later, the explanation from the inn changed from "Priceline canceled your reservation" to "Priceline provided us with an invalid virtual payment card." Regardless of where the payment issue originated, it was concerning that we were repeatedly asked about payment after already prepaying, and I wanted written confirmation that we would not be charged a second time at checkout. Thankfully, the inn did provide that reassurance, and we did not experience any additional billing issues. My impression is that the property struggles with third-party bookings. If you plan to stay here, I would recommend booking directly through the inn rather than through a travel site to hopefully avoid a similar experience. Once the check-in issues were resolved, our stay was generally peaceful. However, the staff continued bringing up the reservation problem during breakfast each morning and repeatedly told us they wanted to treat us like "normal guests," which unintentionally kept reminding us of the difficult start to our stay. Breakfast ended up being one of the highlights of our visit. We were told the first morning's breakfast was not up to their usual standard because they had not been expecting us due to the reservation confusion. Even so, it was delicious. Each morning included fresh pastries and a yogurt parfait topped with fresh fruit and honey. While the parfait remained consistent each day, the hot breakfast changed and gave us the opportunity to try different dishes. One morning featured chile eggs that were especially delicious. Every breakfast also included a simple arugula salad with balsamic vinaigrette, which was a nice, fresh addition. Throughout the day, guests also had access to complimentary refreshments, including Nespresso coffee, spring water, and Pepperidge Farm cookies available 24 hours a day. The breakfasts and hospitality in this regard were definitely a standout part of the experience. The property itself has its strengths. The bathrooms are nicely updated, the room was refreshed daily, the water pressure was good, and housekeeping kept everything smelling clean. Just note that the standard refresh service does not include changing the sheets each day. Because it is a historic home, the room stayed fairly warm, and while the shower had good water pressure, the temperature never became especially hot or cold. The television also only offered DirecTV, so if you're accustomed to streaming services or a smart TV, that's something to be aware of. Overall, the inn is charming, the breakfasts were excellent, and it's located in a great neighborhood. However, the disorganized check-in process and inconsistent communication made what should have been a relaxing vacation start on a stressful note.

The girls at the bar are awesome, keeping up with orders, tidying up every chance they get, and serving dinner for those patrons who choose to dine in. The gym is spacious and offers variety of weights (dumbbells and weighted balls), weight bench, treadmills, ellipticals, and space to stretch and exercise on your own. The room I had on the 1st floor had a living room, dining area/study, bedroom, and large bathroom with closet. The room was great! Laundry rooms are available on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Coins are available at the front desk and laundry supplies you can get at the CVS next door. There is a Starbucks around the corner also and it was convenient for last minute items. Parking is typically paid for, but because I was here in a work trip, we had a block of rooms for our group and parking was included.

Hotel lobby, elevator was clean & inviting. The room (King) was clean, bed was comfortable & A/C was cold. Pool was adequate, narrow, but went to 5 feet and you could do mini-laps if desired. Towels were available (outside) and pool was clean. Breakfast was great, lots of selections, eggs & bacon were delicious. The young lady managing the breakfast was friendly & on it. Kept area clean & well-stocked. You could find something to eat from cereal to waffles. Overall Staff & amenities was 5 Stars, hotel is dated, but well maintained. The TV was small, and older model. The greeting name on screen was incorrect. I am not sure if front desk knew how to update Would stay here again if in the area.

This place actually supported the "mobile key" properly: I wouldn't have had to visit the front desk unless I wanted to. I was able to get my key, unlock my room and even check out without problems. I only went to the front desk to ask about the possibility of a late check out since I'd forgotten to do that in when I checked in on the app. My room was spacious and clean and had a comfortable bed. The elevator was functional and not too noisy and the staff were friendly and helpful. The ice machine worked (first floor) and there was a good laundry facility on my floor if I'd needed it. The property is tucked back away from the main road, so no road noise kept me awake at night.

The resort itself is beautiful, with a modernist exterior and interior columns clearly meant to resemble saguaro cacti. I wasn't able to fully explore the grounds due to the heat, but there's a good mix of curated and wild trails. The pool area is extensive and they show movies at the pool at night. The lobby and bar area is huge and was a pleasant place to sit and work or watch the World Cup. I particularly enjoyed watching night hawks hunting over the parking lot at night.

Their famous "bottomless" mimosas found their bottom this year, first one is free, but you pay for additional. I get it, price of everything has gone up so sad but it is understandable. But the stationed buffet is still amazing and bountiful. Literally soup to nuts, the outdoor grill station is a flurry of activity, complete with live music and misters. This brunch is well worth the price and you are encouraged to eat as long as you are able to. It's really enjoyable to observe packed tables with multiple generations of guests who are smiling, laughing, quaffing and eating beautifully crafted dishes that are endless! It's a go to place for special occasions, the property is absolutely beautiful with amazing views, and because of their reputation I believe reservations are a must. If you haven't already been there, I highly encourage you to visit and if have been a prior guest just remember the endless mimosas are a thing of the past. Enjoy
