Staff here is amazing. However, I would never stay here again. My room had a horrendous smell coming from the shower the first night. I asked them to fix it. They tried giving me another room and even offered to have me smell other rooms for a suitable one, which was nice. I looked at another one and went in and the bathroom smelled like body odor super bad. I decided to stick with my room because body odor smells way worse to me than the smell in my room. They ended up selling out so I couldn't change rooms but they sent the maintenance guy to come fix it. It worked for about 12 hours. He pulled hair and gunk out of the shower drain and sink drain and I was just happy to see someone try. I got back from work Tuesday and the same body odor smell was filling my bathroom. I wanted to hurl. And I don't have a great nose, the smell is just so unbearable. I ended up cleaning my own shower last night so that I could take a shower this morning. I went to work today and came back and the same smell from the first night that the maintenance guy fixed. I mean I think it's the worst smell I've witnessed in a hotel, and body odor is the grossest. Both equally unbearable. I'm here until Friday so I'm just going to deal with it since my job paid for it, but I will be advising that our leadership avoid booking our workers here because this isn't a fixable problem. It's clearly the drains or the air system pushing these smells through. I really wanted this work trip to be a good experience but the room situation just killed it for me. I didn't call today about the smell coming back since I'm pretty sure they already did everything they could do, and even if I was moved to another room, I would never stay here again because two rooms I looked at smelled so horrible and it seems like the showers are not being cleaned and there's either a drain problem or a air circulation problem. I shouldn't have to worry about it, but it is what it is. If it was my money being spent, I would ask for my money back and go somewhere else, but I'm not able to do that since it's for my job. Newly built, idealy located my stay at The Residence Inn Casper was made complete. Welcoming and helpful staff who provided me with welcome tips about what to see in the town, room service was excellent and helpful when asked for extra stuff or out of routine cadence. Indoor swimming pool and very hot spa was a great welcome when outside temperatures were high 20s, low 30s. This hotel has everything you would need to have a great stay. New appliances, Kuerig, large Fridge/freezer and a host of kitchen items. Fast, very hot water, clean kitchen and bathroom, huge assortment & well stocked Breakfast Buffett. We had originally booked at a different hotel which had gone horribly. We came here because we've stayed here and we know it's good. When we got there we told them what happened and the AMAZING lady at the front desk -I believe her name was Misty.-gave us a discount because she felt so bad. We had an amazing room or should I say apartment it had a full kitchen with dishes and a scrub mommy and dish soap even. Two bedrooms a pullout couch and two bathrooms. There was also included breakfast which was so amazing by the way. It's very accessible too for people hard of hearing or disabled they had many things for that. They also had a pool, a hot tub, washer and dryer, exercise room, literally anything you could need. It was also very clean. I would 110% recommend going here. read more

Be aware when you book on points you will get the crappy us room available. That's what this Marriott location does. We booked on points since the rate was $296 a night for a king bed likely Marriott does not raise their points which Hilton does to match the value of the room going rate, however Marriott will give you the crappy room for the points. Room 125 the blinds did not work some lame stupid customer tried pulling them thus the electric function does not work anymore the light and fan on the range hood don't work lighting is goofy in the room. We just spent a week at the Residence (with our dog), and it was so great. Everyone is working hard on the Covid sanitation issues and they are doing a good job. Front desk staff is helpful and always ready to give you extra towels, etc. etc. They have really stepped up their act!! And Martha, who is the queen of breakfasts, I call her Martha the Marvelous. She is so cheerful, so nice, just so very cool. And she takes good care of you while you are there. I give her a mighty 10 !! Our room was comfortable, clean, and we asked for a room close to the door for ease of walking our pet. Everything was good. I've now stayed there about 4 times this year and it gets better every time. read more

I've stayed at many extended stay hotels and this one exceeded my expectations. Just stayed for one night but enjoyed having a dining table and larger rooms. I noticed that they would do grocery shopping for you which would be really nice if you were there for several days. Room was clean and staff were helpful. Stayed here about two weeks ago while in town on business. Room was clean, quiet and the front desk staff were always friendly. Breakfast isn't served (there may have been a "To Go" bag available) so I decided to buy groceries during my stay. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance (Qboda, Olive Garden, Subway) along with a WalMart. The gym was closed during my visit, but that was expected due to COVID mitigation measures. read more

This hotel is pretty new being only 6 months old. Everything is sleek and modern looking. The hotel had a decent gym, full basketball court, jacuzzi, pool, and brand new laundry facility. Hotel staff was very accommodating and gave me suggestions on places to go in Casper for food. They have free wifi and complimentary breakfast with a staff that buses and refills your water. The breakfast was all inclusive: eggs, biscuits/gravy, sausage, oatmeal, bagels, cereal, fruit. Everything was cooked well for hotel breakfast. At night they have a complimentary appetizer for guests that changes. They served us cheese bratwurst with buns and a selection of drinks. Again, pretty good for hotel food. The hotel room was spacious, stylish and included a full kitchen and walk in shower. Everything was clean and all supplies were stocked. Overall, this is a great hotel and I'd recommend it if you're staying in Casper, WY. read more

We are Marriott people. Titanium Elite (for what it's worth). We travel frequently, and at times with a small labradoodle and non-shedding pet. We used points for our stay in Casper and were charged $100 for our dog. We were shocked and appalled. We've stayed at many pet friendly Marriotts and we were never charged more than $25 for multiple night stays, let alone one night. This hotel exceeded my expectations. We stay at hotels multiple times a year for weeks and months at a time, the staff here were the nicest people we've worked with at any hotel. I felt spoiled to stay here cause we knew the next place we went no matter where, it wouldn't be as nice. If you're staying here for a long period it is like staying in a small apartment, didn't even feel like a hotel. If I'm ever back in Casper I will stay here for sure! We are a Marriott Von Boy- meaning we practically live in Marriott hotels 80% of the year due to travel job. We're long term guests, all the hotels we've stayed at previously we're treated like family. They know our dogs name even. While some of the hotel staff are friendly like the ladies at the front desk, the lady in charge of house keeping - they're all nice to us, some are not. The lady that takes care of the breakfast spread and the afternoon appetizers no matter how nice we are to her she always have an attitude. She's only nice to certain guests. She treats us like we're a bother to her but would laugh with other guests and ask them if they need anything else. Mind you we keep to ourselves a lot. We rarely go to the breakfast and afternoon buffet unlike most long term guests. We literally just go so we can hang out by the fireplace and not be in our room. read more

A little gem in Casper! My mother and I were driving from Colorado to Montana and stopped here in between. We were traveling with dogs and the girls at the front desk were so friendly! I do approximately 150 Marriott nights a year due to business travel and just checked into this property. It is very new, very clean, immaculate rooms and could not be better. It is one of the nicer Marriott that I have stayed at actually. From meeting Lisa at the front desk through the checkout process it has been a great experience. I highly recommend it. read more

Pure bait and switch operation. I was quoted a $75 pet fee over the phone when I made my reservation and was told it was a $100 fee when we arrived. We only stayed one night at the Casper Residence Inn, during my latest military move and the $25 difference would have influenced our decision to stay at this property, mainly because our room rate was only $93. Why would I pay more for our dog to stay in the room than my family of 4? The answer is I would not. We arrived at roughly 8:30 pm and were greeted by a gruff receptionist, who all but called me a liar and explained that if I didn't sight the paperwork acknowledging the $100 pet fee I would be charged for the room and not allowed to check-in. So, what choice did I have? None, especially when taking into account the time, the 6 hours we had been in the car, the fact we were traveling with two small children, and the loss of $93. I brought the issue up with Marriott's Customer Service and was given a phone call by the Casper Residence Inn's Manager the next morning after we had checked out. She politely told me there was no way she or her staff would have agreed to or quoted a different pet rate and that I would be charged the $100. $25 may seem minuscule but based on the Casper, Wyoming Residence Inn's decision to mislead me and treat my family with disregard, it's enough to make me never stay at a Marriott property again. read more

This Residence Inn is clearly very new. It is beautiful, stylish, and very well decorated. The hospitality was great and the staff was very friendly. Our room was very large and could compare to a spacious studio apartment given the full kitchenette, including a 4-foot fridge, dishwasher, keurig, and microwave. The pull-out couch was very thin and uncomfortable to sleep on. The comforters were very soft and nicer than typical hotel comforters, especially for pull-out beds. It was a very nice accommodation that the TVs already had Netflix built in, for me and my family to have a nice movie night after dinner. The bathroom was very spacious, and Paul Mitchell bathing products were provided. The breakfast was great, there was an amazing oatmeal and waffle toppings bar. Fresh fruit was available too, which was nice. There was even breakfast staff that would bus our plates and make sure we had everything we needed. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would stay again, too bad I won't find myself in the area again anytime soon!
