Parking ~ Abundant and complimentary parking. Parking lot is extremely well lit very safe area, easily accessible handicap parking. Lobby ~ The lobby is well appointed and an open and welcoming space. The front desk is easily accessible and ADA Compliant. All areas are clear of any encumberances and well lit. The breakfast area is adjacent to the lobby and well appointed. The Breakfast ~ OUTSTANDING! I was extremely surprised. I stay in hotels on regular basis and just in the last year I frequented a variety of them throughout the US and abroad. This breakfast buffet was represented very well. This is the first time I have seen a farm fresh yogurt machine. The product was outstanding. They offered the regular cereals, aids, bacon, variety of muffins and breads and pickles. And they have a waffle machine. I addition to juices, coffee and a plethora of tea options. The plastic ware was obtained by a single serve machine, ensuring a higher level of cleanliness. Hard boiled eggs were in individual serving packages, first time seeing this - eggselent! Coffee and tea cups were very sturdy not the flimsy ones you usually get. Rooms ~ I was exhausted when I arrived. Jack and was seamless, friendly and professional. It was very very late and the young man who helped me was just as polite and friendly as if it had been during normal check in hours. The room was unexpectedly spacious and very clean. Usually I could always find hair in a corner, dirt in a corner of a bathtub or a sink that hasn't been fully wiped out. Not in this room. I looked. Everything was on point. Include two separate bars of packaged soap. One for the laboratory and one for the shower. Water pressure was more than adequate. I have long hair and more than once have I had to utilize the faucet in the bathtub to rinse my hair completely. Not here! The air conditioner filter was clean worked perfectly, no allergy medicine today for me. In the room was very proportionately decorated and accompanied by furniture that appeared fairly new. There was a mini refrigerator and coffee machine in the room. I have stayed recently in Vegas and they've removed the coffee machines from most. The curtains closed completely and hung appropriately. With no gaps they were truly blackout curtains. Customer Service ~ everyone I encountered from the lobby to my room we're in credibly genuinely friendly and courteous. This town is located in Wyoming and the folks here are just very friendly and kind. I would definitely return and stay specifically at this hotel. Incredibly clean every area and facet of the hotel was wiped down, dusted and the windows were spotless. The artwork was both tasteful and appropriate. The furniture choices in Decor were sophisticated and timeless. The spacing in the dining area was appropriate most places you're literally sitting right on top of one another not here, very large and ample seating area with very appropriate spacing where the employees take great pride in maintaining a very clean and upscale establishment this hotel is located in a very safe area that is convenient to any business you may have in the area and or travel plans for sightseeing. Very nice, modern and clean hotel that's dog friendly. I feel safe parking here too. Clean and modern with a decent breakfast. No longer just cereal and juice! They provide fresh fluffy eggs, sausage, toast (white, bagel and English muffin), juices, a machine that dispenses not only coffee but cappuccinos, lattes. The fitness center is bigger than most Best Westerns I've been to and no one was using it so I had it all to myself. They have a running machine, free weights, a pulley type machine and a recumbant type bicycle. They also have filtered water too! Oh and cleaning wipes for the equipment. The hotel is located at the far end of town so you feel a little isolated but that's ok since we don't need to be in town. read more

NO AIR CONDITIONER! We drove 9 hours and all I wanted to do was sleep. Get to a room with no air conditioner. We were told there was nothing that could be done. Had to sleep with wet towels on our head to keep us cool. Then to top it off we had a bird nest with bird crap all over the balcony. It was disgusting!! I then ask what they can do to make up for it and they basically told me to kick rocks. No more choice hotels for me anymore!! read more

We chose this hotel because of the high ratings on Travelocity. The staff was great. The breakfast was disappointing, overcooked sausage pattys, and the typical reconstituted eggs. The pool was freezing temp and the hot tub was unusable due to the barely warm temp and the overwhelming toxic smell of chlorine when we turned on the jets. The room was clean. Unfortunately all the linens (sheets and towels) had a lingering detergent smell and almost grimy feel, definitely not the typical crisp and clean bleached scent/feel. I am very sensitive to scented detergents and it smelled like Tide was used. We will not be choosing this hotel again. read more

Instead, they responded that all employees are "required" to wear masks (cause THEIR employees never disobey company policies) and then finished up with "Masks aren't required in this state anyway." So which is it? Then I get a "compliment" from some trollop troll (looking at you employee who wasn't wearing a mask) cursing me out and saying I'm a horrible person for telling the truth. Why don't you stop lying on your website about all of your Virus "precautions", take down the fake signs stating that you enforce mask wear, and actually bother watching the video of the front desk (which I'm sure you have) from October 17th between 6-7pm. You will clearly see a pale small framed female with long dark hair profusely blowing her nose and sniffling - first behind the heavyset man who was wearing a mask (who I'm sure was grossed out by her) then at the second check in station where she continued not to wear a mask even though she was clearly ill. You will also see the people chilling right there in front of the desk on the couch. with mask under chin, having a loud, animated conversation (and spewing their germs in the air as people walk in). Lastly, you will see the maskless patrons who walked in as I rounded the corner towards the elevator and who were not advised of your fake mask policy. If you don't want to enforce a mask policy, that's your business. However, don't use your so called "Covid Precautions" to attract business - lying to everyone who might not want to be exposed to the virus from both your staff and patrons. And in response to their lame excuse about cats not being allowed because some people are allergic. NEWSFLASH: There are people who are allergic to dogs as well - to most every animal. If you are so concerned about people's allergies (and not a deadly pandemic), stop allowing pets at all. Lastly, you can have a textured surface that you can and do actually keep clean. We have stayed here several times. They consistently have provided a high quality stay. The staff is very friendly, rooms are very clean . This is a pet friendly hotel. We have a service dog and he is always welcomed. Things have been tough through this Covid 19 issue. They made our stay very comfortable. They even found a way to provide a wonderful breakfast to their customers. Masks, server gloves were required as well as 6ft distancing. Congrats to them for going above and beyond! I reserved a 4 night stay at this hotel. Check in went well. My visit purpose was to have a quiet location to work on my computer writing work documents. I planned ahead. Got the reservation. Got my patients covered and found care for my kiddos. The desk is higher than usual and the office chair did not raise high enough. This made for a very uncomfortable experience. I asked to see if there might be a higher chair I could borrow. They offered chairs that were not any higher. At breakfast I realized the tables were more appropriately sized (in height). I asked to borrow one of the spare breakfast tables from the unused conference room. They said no. They offered to let me use the conference room all weekend--but I'm required to maintain HIPPA confidentiality. So I'd have to keep moving things around. Also, who wants to sit in a room where people can walk by and see you through the window when all you wanted was a quiet private place to write? I requested the table option again as it is actually available (they offered to let me use it in the conference room). They refused. Only reason, "I'm not moving it." I offered to move it myself and return it at check out. The manager was extremely rude and inflexible. I wasted So much time trying to fix this. I finally just moved out and found another place. The hotel was nice enough well taken care of but the problem was that after staying for about four or five nights the CO2 detector kept going off in the middle of the night. The first night I let it slide but the second night I called the front desk and the lady had a mechanic come up to fix the CO2 detector but it turns out this did nothing in the CO2 detector kept going off in the middle of the night at this point I was really frustrated and all they could do is claim that they could just move me to a different room and one in the morning I was displeased with this and i asked am I able to get a free night for this or maybe even get reimbursed for a night and they told me the best They can do is change my room - The next day all the managers where busy all morning - very inconvenient and not very caring for customers read more

UPDATE: After exactly one week, four phone calls, being told "if we find it, someone will call you", a final call letting them know that even though I know they "are not responsible for lost or stolen items" I would be filing a police report, and a General Manager unwilling to entertain the thought that someone that works there may have kept or done something with my property....I hung up and was intent to file the report. EXACTLY 2 minutes later, the General Manager called back to let me know that they had just "found" my property in a storage closet. A week later and in some closet? So....I am relieved and grateful that I got my property back. At best....there is not a clear cut policy at this hotel as to what staff should do or does with found property. At worst.....they keep things left behind. She did make sure to let me know her "staff doesn't take part in thievery." As a potential guest at this hotel.....you decide what you think!! DO NOT TRUST HOUSEKEEPING AT THIS HOTEL!! We have stayed here twice, both times leaving some personal items behind in our room....our own fault, we know....both times those items have not been "found". In several phone calls no one could assure us they weren't there, just that they "didn't see them".....but a manager or housekeeping would contact us. Of course, those calls never came. We will not stay here again. We would strongly encourage you to consider not staying here, either. This last time, a bag of over $300 worth of merchandise from a local boutique just disappeared. Upon arrival, I presented my drivers license (Wyoming) for identification purposes but was rudely told that I was not welcome because the hotel doesn't allow "locals." The kid behind the desk held up a white placard in full view of the lobby saying, "No Locals." I've been a Best Western member for several decades, and I've always enjoyed the product. I made reservations for golfing friends at this establishment earlier this summer, and just assumed I'd be welcome after giving it that business. This was humiliating and insulting. My recommendation is to stand clear of this hotel; it's a sham and it's not worth your time. The Holiday Inn next door is nicer and more accommodating. read more

Enjoyed staying here. The room with the two queen beds was bigger than my families room with the same bed arrangement. That part was a plus and the hotel has been maintained in great condition for its age. It's not an old hotel but it's not-Brand new either. I stayed there in September of 2022. It was not a tourist season but the hotel in front of it was fully booked.we were blessed to find rooms. And this hotel had a good breakfast. Thanks to them I did not go hungry. This hotel has been open for a year, at least, but it still has that brand new look and feel and smell. I don't think I have EVER been in a hotel that was this clean. The carpets looked brand new. The wood and the stainless steel glistened. Unfortunately, the pool was dirty and the hot tub was not operating. Those were our biggest complaints. Otherwise, everything else was pretty stellar. We appreciated the hot breakfast and the friendly employees. Our room, on the fourth floor, had a beautiful view of Casper Mountain. Check-in and check-out were easy. We also appreciated the cookies. Stayed here for one night on our way home from vacation. This is a pretty new hotel. Everything smells new and fresh. Even the carpet is still soft. I'm giving three stars because of the location of this hotel. It's right next to another chain hotel and then across from it is apartments. Not much else is around as far as places to eat that you can walk to. Since we don't know this town we had to rely on Yelp to find a place to eat and not much was reviewed close by. When we drove a mile or so down the road there were medical buildings, a couple of restaurants ( which we didn't want a sit down meal. We wanted something quick to take to our room) and then we stated seeing some options for food. So overall, it's a nice place to stay. I think they are still working on developing the area. If we were in the area again, I would consider this place since it was nice and clean. It's a good one night stay kind of location. read more

Stayed there traveling with my daughter and her dog. in late June 2022. When checking in we noted a strong urine smell in a pet friendly room. It was 10:30. The night manager would not get us another room, claiming there were no mor pet friendly rooms available. He said the day manger would adjust a credit for the smell and unsanitary condition. Next morning there was no manager to help us. Two days later I got a call from a rude manager who argued each point I made and refused a credit for the condition of the room. No one helped us and frankly were more interested in arguing. Stay away. They have no concept of customer service. read more

My son made a reservation at this hotel for his wedding night through a third party website and his credit card was charged. After the reception, when he and his new bride went to check in, the front desk clerk saw his local ID and refused to check them in, cancelling their reservation. Apparently they have a no-exceptions policy against booking local residents, even when they have had a booking for weeks and are standing there in their wedding clothes, humiliated. read more

Traveling from Denver to Jackson Hole, Casper is about half way and I stayed one night. The best western was very affordable considering it is Eclipse weekend. Plenty of parking and no parking fee. Check in was quick. Wifi is free. The rooms are spacious and very clean with two complimentary bottles of water upon arrival. There is complimentary breakfast from 7a -11a. Hotel staff is friendly and accommodating. For a one night stay I was pleasantly surprised by how well this hotel is kept up. read more

Our family occupied two rooms three nights the weekend of the total solar eclipse. Like all the other hotels in Casper the prices were jacked way up by 6x or 7x for this special occasion, but the staff here made up for it by treating all of us well. Heaps of perfectly cooked bacon with free buffet breakfast, lots of free beer and snacks, and special eclipse-decorated cookies served in the big parking lot as the eclipse was beginning. Traveling for work can be tough, especially when you are a road warrior, so you really look for your hotels to be a safe and comfortable place to stay. My check in was smooth and easy since I booked online and everything was already paid for. It was pretty quiet since it was later in the evening, so I was in and up in my room within 5 minutes. After settling in, about an hour later there was a knock on the door. I was on a call so couldn't rush to the door. To my surprise all the sudden the front desk attendant is walking in my room! This really startled me and all I could say is I'm on the phone. All he said was, "I didn't know there was someone in the room." After my shock and quickly getting off the phone I walked to the door to open it. No one was there. I can't decide if it would have been better if he was standing there or not. If this was a mistake then the proper thing to do may be to wait and see if I open the door and apologize. However, this may have even startled me as well. He was wearing a uniform so I believe I would have not been afraid, but these days you just never know. I called down to the front desk and he answered and was apologetic and said that he didn't know someone was in the room. I find this hard to believe, as I mentioned earlier it was later and I was the only one checking in. I'm pretty sure your computer says which room I'm in. I feel as though he was either coming in to steal or something weird I will not say. Regardless of all of the details, the most important thing for a young professional woman traveling is safety and I did not feel safe staying after this. I had to spend 30 minutes on the phone trying to get a last minute hotel and get my reservation cancelled. I found another hotel that was clean, comfortable and most importantly safe! (We were not feeling real welcome at that point). Our travel agent forgot to mention we needed one disabled room. Ashley at the front desk was adamant about NO CHANGES. So my 84 year old friend asked for a shower chair. When he got into his room he found a luggage rack in his shower. The personality of the staff here is as dry as the dessert. The area where this Best Western is located has numerous hotels. I recommend to my viewers that you take advantage to search out a more pleasant place to stay. read more

This is a new hotel, so hopefully they are still learning from their mistakes. Rating is based solely on customer service. We were in town for a funeral. We requested a pack'n'play for a toddler and staff verbally confirmed. After a long day of travel, we arrived and found no pack'n'play in the room. Staff said they would deliver one, but 45 minutes later still nothing. So we called the front desk and were told that all pack'n'plays were in use. We drove to target and purchased a brand new one, finally getting kids to bed 2 hours past bedtime. When we finally had a chance to talk with management, they refused to take any responsibility, saying that the printed reservation clearly states there is "no guarantee" of such accommodations. Sure, I get that. But, when you're brand new and building a reputation, maybe you go the extra mile to make sure a 2 year old has a nice place to sleep? They would not purchase it from us either, though clearly they could use an extra. And since we won't be taking it on the airplane, our family will donate it to someone in Casper who needs it. Not good business for a brand new hotel. Stay at the Holiday Inn ten feet away instead. read more

Shower curtain was too short and the water got on the floor so we had to use the towels to clean it all up. This is a brand new hotel; so brand new that they haven't even finished paving the parking lot (I hope). I don't know why they wouldn't have paved the parking lot yet, it seems like something to do before opening . . . when are the cars going to be out of there again? I was going to give a four-star rating since the hotel was newer and just fine, but then I woke up, took a shower, and tried to eat breakfast. I spent about twice as long in the shower trying to get the trickle of water to rinse me off. It was sad, especially considering this is a newer hotel. It was bad enough that I wouldn't stay here again for just that reason. The other big complaint was the breakfast. I was there at least a half hour before it was supposed to close and there was very little left and there weren't even any plates. I looked around for something that could somehow resemble breakfast and just gave up. People like to talk about hotel "free breakfasts." These breakfasts aren't free, they're built into the price of the room. When I had to go get breakfast elsewhere, it raised the price of the room. I realize I'm giving three stars and saying I wouldn't stay here again, but I know that some people would have less problem with the things I had a problem with. read more

My parents and my sister stayed here it was expensive and the problem is they lock their front doors at 11 PM and you cannot get in. My sister locked yourself out and nearly froze to death her cell phone and her key or in her room and they did not open the doors until 8 AM. I called the front desk and I asked why the internet was dropping every 5-10 seconds. He responded, "We are almost at capacity and it may be very spotty" okay this is a BWPLUS! Can anyone tell me why a huge hotel chain that has a name to it does not have a strong enough internet connection so their guest don't have to go through this? The people that work the front desk were so nice and helpful to my family that was there out of town for a funeral. I honestly cannot thank Ray enough for helping my mom with her pain and just going out of his way. Reasonably priced rooms and very clean. Also, the continental breakfast was pretty decent as well.
