"I'm confused by YOUR response "General Manager".
    Real ..

So they basically didn't even bother investigating what I said. Instead, they responded that all employees are "required" to wear masks (cause THEIR employees never disobey company policies) and then finished up with "Masks aren't required in this state anyway." So which is it? Either you have an extra stringent standard that you stand behind and enforce OR you aren't required to do anything in your state so that you do something (kinda sorta half a**) makes you awesome? Then I get a "compliment" from some trollop troll (looking at you employee who wasn't wearing a mask) cursing me out and saying I'm a horrible person for telling the truth. So here's an idea Best Western Casper WY. Why don't you stop lying on your website about all of your Virus "precautions", take down the fake signs stating that you enforce mask wear, and actually bother watching the video of the front desk (which I'm sure you have) from October 17th between 6-7pm. You will clearly see a pale small framed female with long dark hair profusely blowing her nose and sniffling - first behind the heavyset man who was wearing a mask (who I'm sure was grossed out by her) then at the second check in station where she continued not to wear a mask even though she was clearly ill. You will also see the people chilling right there in front of the desk on the couch. with mask under chin, having a loud, animated conversation (and spewing their germs in the air as people walk in). Lastly, you will see the maskless patrons who walked in as I rounded the corner towards the elevator and who were not advised of your fake mask policy. If you don't want to enforce a mask policy, that's your business. However, don't use your so called "Covid Precautions" to attract business - lying to everyone who might not want to be exposed to the virus from both your staff and patrons. And in response to their lame excuse about cats not being allowed because some people are allergic. NEWSFLASH: There are people who are allergic to dogs as well - to most every animal. If you are so concerned about people's allergies (and not a deadly pandemic), stop allowing pets at all. Lastly, you can have a textured surface that you can and do actually keep clean. The ones with the tiny pores; however, don't fall into that category. Congratulations and enjoy your new score! Their response as posted on trip adviser is attached.

Awesome. The free breakfast was loaded with options- eggs, omelets, oatmeal, bagels, cereal waffles, muffins, mall kinds of yummy fresh stuff. The hotel is also conveniently located next to a highway and just a minute from all the shopping a traveler needs. I love these hotels and this one was no exception, I will definitely stay here again.

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel once per year nearly every year for the past decade. It…read moreis one of the highlights of our year. We go to Casper for the Casper dog show in July and this is our first choice for our hotel. First and foremost it is absolutely pet friendly. For us the hotel that is not pet friendly might as well not exist. We are only on the road because of the dogs and dog events so if our dogs are not allowed we will not darken the door. Second, I have not found the problems mentioned by many of the reviews of this hotel. For us the place is clean. The AC works just fine. When the AC quit they fixed it within two hours. If anything the AC is so powerful I keep having to turn it down. There is a delightful bar good food and a precious outdoor patio. There are flowers everywhere and the vistas are beautiful. For all of these reasons I recommend the hotel. But there are some other things about this hotel that no one has mentioned in the reviews I saw. First among these is the artwork. Someone with extraordinary and subtle taste, a keen ability to see something beautiful in the everyday reality of western life that is something that is reflected in the artwork. The artwork is another one of the main reasons we stay in this hotel. The Ramkota is not part of a national chain. It is a unique reflection of Wyoming, of Casper, of the west. That uniqueness is captured in the artwork and it's worth staying here for that alone. It is far more interesting than any national chain hotel. I would give this hotel five stars except for the politics. And I really do think that the ownership needs to look carefully at the diversity of its clientele and at the message being sent to its customers. Many of us are coming from outside of Wyoming. Not everybody out there thinks the way Wyoming voters think. Two years ago the floor mats in the lobby were a glorification of the fossil fuel industry. I thought "Wow, That's pretty outdated!" The management caught on and today those floormats are gone. Good for them! That is the kind of change they need to make in order to make the hotel appeal to a broad range of visitors who are not from Wyoming. But this morning at breakfast I was hit in the face with Fox News. I do understand that there are many in Wyoming who prefer and believe Fox News. But outside of Wyoming there are a lot of us who would rather open the day with a news channel that is more neutral and trustworthy. Get rid of Fox News and this would be a five-star hotel!

We stopped just to rest and break up the driving and for the price, i've stayed at MOTELS that were much nicer and at the very least, clean. Trash was left behind on the TV stand, the walls were littered with mystery fluids and stains, and the "do not disturb sign" appeared as though someone drug it through a greasy hamburger and set it aside for us. The shower was dirty enough that the wife did not feel comfortable showering. Staff weren't the friendliest and overall not an impressive experience considering the price.

Upon learning that, on 6/8/26 as soon as I went into my room (1108), I ripped the bed apart and pulled the mattress down...to my horror, there was a pile of ALIVE bedbugs!! There's no telling how many were actually in this room/hotel in general. The manager Christine was nice, however she seemed to be just making excuses and said they hadn't had any bedbugs for a few years...this is absolutely not true, being as my bosses work trip was within this year! As an attempt to remedy the situation, Christine moved my room and took 50% off my stay, BUT I found bedbug remnants in the second room (1201) as well. At this point, I absolutely no longer felt comfortable staying in this nasty hotel, let alone bringing any of my belongings inside. I returned to Christine, told her what I found AGAIN and checked out, all while she was STILL making excuses! I am now cozy in a CLEAN bed, in another hotel, far away from that disgraceful/disgusting hotel. The bad part is that I have to go back tomorrow for the symposium I came for When I went back to the symposium, the next day, one of the women I told about the bedbugs and to check their bed, informed me she had also found bedbugs in her room!! Another woman came to me to tell me she had also cancelled her reservation and the front desk gave her attitude and stated "that issue was taken care of yesterday" which it absolutely was not!! More and more people have been coming to thank me for letting them know and potentially saving themselves from a disaster. I hope anyone who reads this review heeds my warning, I think this entire hotel is infested and the staff doesn't give a crap!! **Edit to add** I later found out that instead of the manager blocking off rooms 1106-1110 as she said she was going to do...they actually put people in those rooms AFTER I had complained about the bedbugs!! When the investigation was done by the health department, they said they found bedbugs in the occupied rooms (1106 & 1110) The health department had also said that this is the hotel they normally investigate!! Be careful out there yall, stay safe. ALSO, the owners response to this review on Google is a bold face LIE, as I had personally spoke with the health department after they did their investigation...She informed me that they would be making Best Western block off the hallway of rooms where I had found the bedbugs, AS WELL as the rooms above!! So for this owner to say that "there was no infestation found" just shows how little they care about your health and wellness.

Ruth, the heart and soul of the Ranch, is an absolute force of nature. She doesn't know the meaning of the words "slow down" or "give up." Her tireless energy and sincere hospitality create a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel more like a treasured guest in her home than a traveler passing through. Ruth's warmth, charm, and can-do attitude are just the beginning--she goes out of her way to ensure every detail of your stay is perfect. Whether it's making sure your accommodations are just right, giving advice on local attractions, or sharing a good story, Ruth's presence adds a special touch you won't find anywhere else. The property itself is stunning. Nestled right along the North Platte River, Red Butte Ranch offers unbeatable access to Wyoming's natural beauty. Imagine waking up to the sound of rushing water, breathing in fresh mountain air, and enjoying coffee with a view that looks like it came straight out of a movie. (It actually did too! John Wayne's last film was shot with the Red Butte as a backdrop!) You can fish right from the banks, use one of their two private boat ramps to launch your own boat, swim in the river, or just sit back and watch bald eagles soar overhead. For the more adventurous, there's no shortage of things to do: Hiking through scenic terrain Rockhounding for local treasures Fly fishing in world-renowned trout waters Horseback riding, floating the river, or simply taking in the wildlife--it's all right there. Even if you're not the outdoorsy type, the Ranch is a peaceful retreat where you can unwind, recharge, and appreciate the quiet majesty of Wyoming's landscape. The views alone are worth the stay. Bottom line: I can't recommend Red Butte Ranch enough. Whether you're passing through for a night or planning an extended getaway, make this your home base in Wyoming. It's the only place I'll ever stay in Casper, and I'd give it ten stars if I could. Beautiful setting, incredible host, and unforgettable memories.

Then there are hotels that win him over by performing the simple miracle of being run by people who appear glad he exists. This establishment belongs proudly in the latter category. The breakfast itself was nothing that would cause a revolution in American lodging. It was the same continental breakfast we all know and love from sea to shining sea: eggs of uncertain ambition, waffles aspiring to greatness, a standard issue pancake printer, imported whole fruit lovingly hand-wrapped in cellophane, and coffee tasked with carrying the whole enterprise upon its weary shoulders. Yet what distinguished this breakfast was not the menu but the ministry. A guest found herself engaged in mortal combat with a waffle that had become permanently attached to the waffle maker. Before the struggle could escalate into litigation, a server appeared, liberated the imprisoned pastry, and restored peace to the republic. Empty plates vanished almost before they were empty. Coffee cups were replenished with a vigilance usually reserved for national defense. OK, I embellish the effort just a little. But darn if it didn't feel that way as a matter of comparison to the usual economy hotel punishment. Good service cannot improve a mediocre breakfast into a great one, but it can perform something nearly as remarkable: it can make a fellow forget he is eating a mediocre breakfast. Attitude, as it turns out, is an ingredient. The room itself was pleasantly spacious. Most modern hotels provide Wi-Fi and consider the matter settled. This room, however, offered a dedicated Ethernet connection. I plugged in out of curiosity and discovered speeds that made the Wi-Fi seem less like a technology and more like a suggestion. There was also a second-tier vanity shelf, a humble feature whose usefulness cannot be adequately appreciated until one has spent years balancing toiletries upon surfaces apparently designed by people who own only a toothbrush. Now, no honest account would be complete without mentioning the defects. The room resisted darkness. The window shades approached the task with enthusiasm but not competence, allowing enough light around the edges to remind a sleeper that somewhere outside, the universe remained operational. More perplexing was the hairdryer. It resided in a wall mount equipped with a small nightlight that glowed continuously. I searched for a switch with determination and, eventually, with suspicion. Either no switch existed, or I lacked the intellectual qualifications to locate it. Both explanations remain plausible. In the end, I left with favorable impressions. The breakfast was ordinary. The room had quirks. Yet the staff possessed that increasingly rare talent of making inconveniences feel small and guests feel welcome. And often, that makes all the difference.
