With so much free time on our hands (covid 29) my husband and I decided we would tackle some home projects. We wanted to give our home an updated look. We went shopping and purchased two (2) new ceiling fans, new light fixtures for the hallway, a dining room ceiling light and a new front door which also needed to be painted. I researched Handyman services in my area and sent a message to Residential Services requesting an appointment for an estimate on the required work. This was on a Sunday. Imagine my surprise when I received a response within minutes from the owner, Angel. He even offered to come by my house that day, but we were already tied up. Therefore, we made an appointment for Friday afternoon. Friday came and Angel and his assistant came for our appointment, they even arrived a little bit early. We discussed the needed work and he gave us a very fair estimate. Our job was scheduled for two (2) days later - Sunday. Sunday came and all the work was completed to much satisfaction. Angel and his assistant were very pleasant, easy to communicate with and extremely knowledgeable as to our needs. We will be using Angel for all of our upcoming Handyman needs. He has already provided an estimate for some of my desired kitchen work. My husband and I are very happy with Angel's work! we found this company through "living in Henderson " site, see lots of good reviews about it. decided to give it a try, and indeed, it turned out to be a very satisfactory experience. we need our first floor tiles partially redone. they have to rip the old tiles off and install the new tiles, to match the existing tiled area. Angel is very prompt on replying text or calls. show up punctually on job. and he and his crews work hard and carefully without causing any damages. they attend to all the details, like baseboard repaint, thoroughly clean up after themselves. and on top of this, the charge is reasonable. Okay... I promised an update and here it is.... 3... yes 3!! Months later..... today, the business owner, Angel, told me that he was just done and walked out on the job. He did not honor the contract. In fact, the reason that it took so long was because his workers made costly mistakes and damaged my personal property. I know that it was time consuming for him to fix, but it was definitely not my fault. Long story short: here I sit.... I spent $6500... but now I have to hire someone else to come in and fix the painting and flooring and all of the other details that should have been done correctly. Also... I get to buy a new wooden medicine cabinet because his crew left mine out in the rain and it's damaged beyond repair... and they broke the stopper on my security screen door, so I'm getting that... here's one for you... they sawed into one of my toilets!!! Angel replaced it with a new one at my request, but they tried to hide it!!! They lost one of the valances to my blinds, so now I have to buy brand new blinds.... They painted and sawed At The Same Time! So along with the paint overspray, there is sawdust everywhere! I mean... it's on everything! They left wood pieces in my kitchen sink... they used my kitchen trashcan and my broom... they left nails and construction debris and cigarette butts in my yard!! I couldn't be more disappointed. Unprofessional doesn't even begin to describe the situation. I could go on... but I'll just say this.... before you hire someone.... do some research on them first. read more

Hired Angel to remove a wall in our house. After receiving quotes and speaking with multiple contractors, we decided Angel was the most qualified and reasonably priced. Even though we ran into some problems with because of the way the builders cut corners on our house, he was able to make it work just how we envisioned it. He fixed my toilet and he swapped out my shower head, and mounted my TV, and assembled my garage racks. He also hung two large and heavy objects high up on my walls and window, one of which was a stained glass window piece.
