Summit does not answer their phones, and the mailbox is full so we cannot leave a message for them to call back. Sonja did happen to answer the phone one time, and the store no longer does flooring, so our warranty is worthless, and she refuses to make any effort to find our paperwork for us to contact the manufacturer directly. Summit is gone from the Osceola location now, so good luck getting any answers. From the experiences of others we've heard from, it's no wonder this store went belly-up.

After nearly two years, it has not been right. Within a few weeks of installation, the floor began to buckle and crack and creak and began to get spongy to walk on. We were told by our Contractor (who hired these clowns), that they were claiming that it was our fault (really? we wrote the checks -- and I am not a flooring expert, they are supposed to be), and we should wait 6 months and it would settle down. Now, nearly two years later, even though the Contractor is trying to make it right personally (we had to start legal action), we still have a severely misinstalled floor. No gap was put in anywhere around the perimeter -- even though the installation guide required 3/4" for each 10ft, and our floor is 24 x 40. We installed new air conditioning with the renovation -- and kept the interior at 30% humidity (they tried to blame that, as well). They tried to rip us off on extra carpeting that we didn't order and even though we paid our bills on time and in full, and our floor was completely badly installed and ruined, they had the gall to call and ask that we pay for extra carpet that they bought. This has been a nightmare -- and they are supposed to be a "Christian" shop -- so now I just stay away from businesses with a fishie........ THese people are just not qualified and they have ruined what was a very nice and very expensive renovation, and now we don't have the money to tear it our and start over, which is what we are being told must be done. STAY AWAY !!!

My property manager had a carpet installer, but it was my job to pick the carpet. He recommended a brand and I started researching. I had no idea how many carpets there were! When I used a compare feature on one of the carpet brand websites, one of the stats I was given was pile height. I thought why do I care what height the pile is? I was overwhelmed. I didn't know how to narrow the choices down and pick one. I didn't have the understanding to know what type of carpet would be best. Catherine was amazing and saved the day! She handled all communications with the carpet installer including coordinating with my property manager to meet the carpet installer at the rental property to review choices and see samples in the actual space. She took the thousands of choices and narrowed it down to three. She explained in a knowledgeable, concise manner why she was choosing the three she did and used a picture board to summarize the options. She was very patient and answered all my questions. She didn't overwhelm me with too much information, but she gave me enough to be able to make a well-informed decision. She communicated clearly and was very organized. She far exceeded my expectations! I must admit before hiring Catherine, I didn't realize how valuable a certified interior designer would be. I am quite pleased with my decision to hire her and I would highly recommend her!
