Piercing by Jingles was amazing! The whole process of getting my daith pierced took less than 15 min! He was able to work with my request of a horseshoe instead of a captive bead, and even anodized my jewelry for me. I even got to watch. Definitely recommend and i will be returning for future piercings!! I payed 60$ for everything!

I went to this shop because of the good reviews and the variety in the art they do. I came and stated I wanted something similar to what I had and maybe something of the fractal genre or biomech. I sent over a few designs that I was intersted in and paid a quick deposit of $100. A week or so later I was sent 2 designs that were completely different. One of which looked like a q*bert game from atari, and the other was something you would see in Assasin's Creed or something. Both of which were far off from what I wanted. I reviewed his insta and it was pretty much only pin up or classic american tats. I asked if there was anyone that could possibly help me Javion got upset and pretty much gave up. Here are the examples I gave to the shop and guess which ones he sent back to me. It might be an educational moment for Javion. I thought that was it but I got bullied by some guy named Julius. He had some good points but still had a serious attitude problem.

Cant say enough great things about this place. Despite moving to LA it is the only shop I will go to for piercings and tattoos. Everything from the atmosphere to the people working there, is top of the line. I was originally just a walk in for a piercing, and it was such a great experience I came back to start and finish a full sleeve with the owner Julius. His work is fantastic and I always leave more than happy. Somehow he always has the ability to turn my scattered brain tattoo ideas into beautiful artwork. As far as those lame negative reviews, it sounds like you guys seriously need to get a Psychiatric evaluation, not a tattoo.

We found this shop on YELP at 9pm via messaging. They responded quickly and were able to get us in the next day (today)!! We were doing a family day with my son and daughter. My son and I had never had tattoos before. We weren't nervous about the tattoos but about the shop and the artists. Would they get what we want? Would they be clean? Would they be good? Well, Paragon fulfilled all our expectations and then some. I wanted a tattoo that represented my kids passions; photography and music. I knew I wanted a camera and a music note but no idea how! Alan was my artist and immediately came up with the musical note in the lens of the camera. He even asked both of them questions to make sure it truly represented them. He was awesome. Emelie did my daughters tattoo that was an amazing sun for the song "You are my sunshine" that I sang to her as a child. And my son wanted a phrase from a twenty one pilots song with holding hands. They were all fantastic and did exactly what we wanted.

Jayvion has done my tattoos this two times I've been there and I have to say he's the best. So far I have done 4 tattoos and I love them all. Definitely going back soon. This is hands down the most delightful tattoo shop I have ever paid a visit to! The vibe is so friendly, welcoming and warm. Response time is spot on, communication is A+, and overall enthusiastic staff really makes the experience completely comfortable. I had the pleasure of having my tattoo done by Shan(Shanchai) extremely gentle hands is all I can say. I honestly felt like I wasn't even getting a tattoo for a moment. I will 100% be returning . Visiting Tattoo shops have always been a frightening experience for me due to having such an unwelcome feeling the second I walk into most of them. You won't feel that here. I've been getting tattooed at Paragon by Julius for the past six years and I always have the best experience. He is super professional, trustworthy and makes me feel comfortable every time. The picture attached to this review is a tattoo he finished 3 years ago but the picture is from today. It still looks amazing! I get compliments on it all the time. I can't recommend him enough. You won't be disappointed in his work. I've also been tattooed by Harun and Emelie and pierced by Ryan and they were all amazing too so you can't go wrong with anyone there. They had a special deal for $25 per piercing on Friday the 13th, so you know I HAD to try the place out. I got my first lobe piercings around four months ago and they were pretty much done healing, so I decided to get my seconds with a friend on the 13th. Lots of people were waiting in the front to get tattoos, but we were able to walk right in to get our piercings. I have to say, tattoo parlors are always a bit intimidating because of the choice of decor and music, but the all of the staff members we interacted with were so friendly when we were getting our waivers signed. The piercing process was only a few quick seconds of scorching pain on each lobe, but it was to be expected. Jingles was super helpful and informative about the aftercare process of the piercing, and really seemed to know what he was doing. He was able to debunk some of the cleaning methods that my previous piercer had encouraged and definitely changed my perspective on ear piercings. He also recommended some good jewelry websites for people with sensitive ears or nickel allergies! Overall, such a down to earth guy and I'll definitely be returning if I ever feel like sticking another needle in my ear (for aesthetic purposes). read more

Went for some ear piercings with friends. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. Cherry did all three of us. She was beyond friendly and her knowledge surprised me. She could tell I stretched my ears in the past even though they've healed. She takes her time to ensure the placement is right, and that you are satisfied with where she will be piercing before starting. My past experience is getting my ears done at Claire's in the mall so this was like a luxury lol. I got my lobes done and my friends got conch, daith, and 3 on the flat. More daring than me. Cherry was thorough with after care and made sure we knew she was available for any questions are concerns in the future. read more

My husband go an amazing piece of art done ( tattoo) .! Julius ,the owner ,was so helpful and made scheduling easy. When my husband and myself went to talk to him about the tattoo he was able to get the feel for exactly what my husband wanted . We showed him 2 pictures of what my husband was thinking . A family of sugar skulls to represent our family . We also told him one of the skulls we wanted to have a cleft lip to resemble our daughter who was born with a cleft lip . Before the appointment Julius send my husband sketches. It took only 2 sessions . 1 for our lining the other for coloring . My husband absolutely loves his tattoo. Thank you Julius .! read more

I recently went in for a nose stud and a septum piercing. Scheduling with Ryan was super easy. My appointment was right on time, he's great to talk to, and really clean and fast. I thought my septum had completely closed because it's been YEARS since I had a piercing in, but he realized it was still mostly open, ending up not having to pay for that repiercing. Easy to talk to, will definitely be returning for any future piercings! read more

DO NOT LOOK FOR EMELIE!!!! SHE IS THR WORST AND MOST UNPROFESSIONAL I'VE EVER MET! I had to come back for a retouch (which she never bother to update and ask me like other tattoo artist would! ) i had switch my artist in the middle of retouch bc she was just making my tattoo worse! the letters were so uneven, and to think i've waited 4hrs just for her to do a tiny tattoo like this and the outcome looks like a shit! Got my tragus done by Cherry and WOW she has got to be the friendliest piercer I've ever encountered. She helped calmed my nerves because I was super nervous and answered all of my questions. She explained how she was going to pierce my tragus step by step and guided me with breathing when putting the needle in which helped a lot! The shop also looked really clean and had tons of cool art pieces (tattoo designs maybe?) hanging around which is a plus :) I am impressed by the service here and I would definitely come back if I want to get another piercing done!! Btw: for payments, they take cash only but there's an ATM in the shop (with a $2 charge) which is super convenient! read more

I had the pleasure of getting tattooed by the shop owner, Julius, today & my husband & I are already planning our next visit. Every step of the process was EXCEPTIONAL. Scheduling was simple & his communication was always quick & professional. Julius explained every aspect of the tattoo, from the design, to the placement, shading, & overall technique. I was thoroughly impressed by the level of professionalism & care that he displayed. I honestly cannot fathom how someone could have anything negative to say about him, as it is clear he makes an active & conscious effort to be accommodating & inviting to all of his clients. I've had several friends get work done at Paragon, & they all rave about it! Julius is one most compassionate tattoo artist out there! This establishment is professional and they treat you right. I got my sleeve done and he was able to capture the concept I was looking for; with bright colors, fine lines, the best work ever! My spirit animal is a Wolf and not only was this beast thrown on my chest it was and still is a solid piece of work. Well, here's to another super late review... and (to my mother's endless disapproval) another piercing. I was in the market for a nipple piercing for some time, and as a woman, it's hard to find piercers that I would feel comfortable enough to go topless in front of. It doesn't help that most tattoo/piercing shops are heavily saturated with men, so it's a pretty daunting experience. I ultimately decided on Paragon because the shop was close to where I lived and the reviews mentioned a female piercer. When I arrived as a walk-in, I was instantly greeted and made to feel very welcomed. The shop was also decked out and appeared super clean. After filling out the necessary paperwork, I was led into a room, where the piercer greeted me. To my utter shock, the piercer was male. I stayed though because I felt like I was in too deep to back out now. To my relief, the male piercer very quickly proved all my worries wrong. He explained the piercing process quite thoroughly, alleviated all my concerns, and made me feel super duper comfortable about the whole thing. He was also completely respectful when it came to my body and my boundaries as he pierced me. I am not going to lie though. Piercing your nipples hurts... A LOT. Much more than a tattoo on your ribcage. But the piercer was super quick and tried to make my experience as comfortable as possible. Also, props to him, for being very thorough when it came to cleaning/sanitizing and explaining aftercare. Overall, the whole process was very smooth and quick, not so much painless, but it's to be expected... I could see myself coming back here for another piercing. read more

He praised the artwork, even called over another artist to admire it, and quoted me $800. I explained that I had hired a previous artist who had butchered my vision by swapping my original work with generic clip art, and I wanted someone who would honor what I had drawn. He seemed very excited to do the work, and said he loved my design. Steven assured me he would do it right. He promised to provide finished digital lineart two weeks before the appointment so I'd have time for revisions if needed. I booked two months in advance and paid a $100 deposit. Two weeks out--no lineart, so I messaged him to ask for it. One week out--he sent a tiny, half-assed sketch made of--you guessed it--more fn clip art! I waited. Another small fragment came in several days later. Sloppy, generic, and clearly nothing like my design. My original drawings, including two of my pets, were reduced to cookie-cutter garbage. I was losing sleep over the stress. I really wanted this piece to be done correctly. Still, I tried to trust him. His portfolio on Instagram was gorgeous, so I wanted to believe in him. The day before the appointment--still no full lineart. I asked to reschedule when he had time to do as he had promised: provide lineart I could approve of or request changes to before the appointment. He gaslit me and insisted that his other clients trusted him. I explained my concern and said I wasn't comfortable getting inked without seeing a complete draft, especially after my previous experience. Which he KNEW. He told me to come in anyway. He said I could at least try on a stencil. When I arrived, he was scrambling to slap something together on his iPad at the last moment. Not the whole thing, again, just one element of it. What he printed wasn't even close to my design. He took an elegant, feminine design and turned it into a back alley biker tattoo. It was thick, coarse, and ugly. When I politely told him this wasn't even close what I wanted, he said, "I'm not the artist for you," and then refused to refund my deposit. He immediately blocked me on Instagram and updated his bio to say deposits are non-refundable. Let's be clear: I didn't flake on the appointment--he did. He had two months to deliver on his promise. He lied, stalled, copied cheap clip art, and gaslit me to guilt me into coming in, wasting my time as I had to clear the entire day for nothing. He took my money, but did no real work. It felt like it might be his MO: take your deposit, string you along, ignore your design, and his own promises, and deliver garbage he knows you'll reject so he can pocket your money without lifting a finger. My husband said it seemed like a scam, and I agree. Steven Gonzalez is not a professional--he's a liar, and a thief. I now have serious doubts as to whether any of the art on his Instagram is even his. If he'll steal money, he'll steal credit too. Avoid this shop at all costs. Don't trust Steven with your time, your money, or your skin. Big mistake. Enjoy your $100 review, Steven!

If I didn't work the day I got my piercing it might have been a more positive experience.

I've gottten several piercings, from dermals to surface here, and Cherry always goes above and beyond. Everytime I'm in the shop Cherry makes it a point to make me feel super comfortable and she's way friendly! All the procudures she has ever done for me, she has walked me through every step of the way and just made the process super enjoyable. She gave me aftercare instructions that were easy to follow, and answered all my questions before I was even able to ask! She definitely knows her stuff, and is super talented! Her awesome attitude and presence definitely made me want to go back to the shop! I reccomend Cherry to anyone and everyone who wants their piercings done right, and she's just super awesome so who wouldn't wanna go to Paragon to make magic happen?! The one thing I appreciated most is that she took her time to make it a point that she cared about what I wanted or needed from her. Most people review anywhere where their experience was even slightly better than bad as 5 stars, but in my case my experience was in fact 5 star worthy. Not only were the people cool but the wait to get pierced wasn't bad, even though she went on break and came back shortly after we got there. Very clean, no weird smells, no quirks. The only things that were out of the ordinary were the taxidermized animals everywhere, but i thought they were pretty funny. Expect rock music to be playing and leave the kiddies at home. I got my nose pierced on July 6th. The place was very cool. Chill vibes. We waited for about 30 min. (I was second in line) Cherry was very informative and had a steady hand. Everything was clean and sterile...very important!! Cherry throughly explained the after care instructions. Paragon Tattoo is one of the best tattoo shops in the area. Julius V., the owner and proprietor of this shop is an amazing artist and person. He did an memorial of my family for me on my left arm. He praised the artwork, even called over another artist to admire it, and quoted me $800. I explained that I had hired a previous artist who had butchered my vision by swapping my original work with generic clip art, and I wanted someone who would honor what I had drawn. He seemed very excited to do the work, and said he loved my design. Steven assured me he would do it right. He promised to provide finished digital lineart two weeks before the appointment so I'd have time for revisions if needed. I booked two months in advance and paid a $100 deposit. Two weeks out--no lineart, so I messaged him to ask for it. One week out--he sent a tiny, half-assed sketch made of--you guessed it--more fn clip art! I waited. Another small fragment came in several days later. Sloppy, generic, and clearly nothing like my design. My original drawings, including two of my pets, were reduced to cookie-cutter garbage. I was losing sleep over the stress. I really wanted this piece to be done correctly. Still, I tried to trust him. His portfolio on Instagram was gorgeous, so I wanted to believe in him. The day before the appointment--still no full lineart. I asked to reschedule when he had time to do as he had promised: provide lineart I could approve of or request changes to before the appointment. He gaslit me and insisted that his other clients trusted him. I explained my concern and said I wasn't comfortable getting inked without seeing a complete draft, especially after my previous experience. Which he KNEW. He told me to come in anyway. He said I could at least try on a stencil. When I arrived, he was scrambling to slap something together on his iPad at the last moment. Not the whole thing, again, just one element of it. What he printed wasn't even close to my design. He took an elegant, feminine design and turned it into a back alley biker tattoo. It was thick, coarse, and ugly. When I politely told him this wasn't even close what I wanted, he said, "I'm not the artist for you," and then refused to refund my deposit. He immediately blocked me on Instagram and updated his bio to say deposits are non-refundable. Let's be clear: I didn't flake on the appointment--he did. He had two months to deliver on his promise. He lied, stalled, copied cheap clip art, and gaslit me to guilt me into coming in, wasting my time as I had to clear the entire day for nothing. He took my money, but did no real work. It felt like it might be his MO: take your deposit, string you along, ignore your design, and his own promises, and deliver garbage he knows you'll reject so he can pocket your money without lifting a finger. My husband said it seemed like a scam, and I agree. Steven Gonzalez is not a professional--he's a liar, and a thief. I now have serious doubts as to whether any of the art on his Instagram is even his. If he'll steal money, he'll steal credit too. Avoid this shop at all costs. Don't trust Steven with your time, your money, or your skin. Big mistake. Enjoy your $100 review, Steven!

If I didn't work the day I got my piercing it might have been a more positive experience.
