I'm not typically a review leaver but wow, that was bad. The reviews here are pretty spot on. Got there at 2:10 for a 2:20 appointment and didn't leave til 4:30. A good amount of folks arriving after me went back first -- some were certainly CTs but I do know that at least two of them that went ahead of me were getting MRIs because we made conversation in the lobby while waiting. Was very fun to explain to my boss why I was offline for so long btw. Medical workers are miracle workers and I am all for placing the blame at admin's feet for a terrible experience. But the extremely nice tech said "7 more minutes" and then was gone for wayyyy longer? I'm just sitting in the tube squeezing the alarm thing and no one is coming? I know yall are slammed, underpaid, and getting shafted on helium from the situation the Gulf... but c'mon. All this is after a text cancellation for my initial appointment because no tech was available. OH and a lady who showed up on my phone as "DALRYMPLE JERRY" called me at 8pm the night before to confirm my appointment (again) and was seemingly in the middle of disciplining a kid or something?? MRI was rough...super bruised by an (let me be nice) inexperienced "technician" sticking me multiple times in the hand AND arm leaving painful bruising. Photos attached were taken 10 minutes after my appointment. Dude was also terrible by trying to bully me into not using the bathroom when I needed to...saying "people are waiting". I just love a guilt trip with my MRI! LOL! I will say that the "helper" dude was supportive and told me to take my time. Thankful for him! I had no idea that this place had such low reviews or I wouldn't have agreed to put my trust here. Rookie mistake for not checking. BTW, 2 days later, almost the entire back of my hand is black and blue. Having this RADnet on the basement floor of a UCLA facility is "strategic". Don't let the location fool you. We came in for an MRI and were immediately put off by the unprofessional behavior of the staff. The front desk person had a rude tone and attitude, and later, another imaging technician came out and started arguing with them about someone being late--cursing was involved. My husband and I were right there, and it made the whole experience awkward and uncomfortable. Definitely not what you want when you're trying to have a medical procedure done. read more

I wish I had read these reviews before scheduling my mammogram and would have just waited until January for the appointment with the hospital. The unprofessional female technician should understand that having your breasts mashed by a machine is both nerve racking and demeaning. No courtesy or robes provided to undress prior to exam. Just remove your shirt and bra in front of the technician who leaves the door partially open while you're trying to put your clothes back on in a room that does not have a privacy curtain. I didn't even see that there was a changing room until AFTER I exited the exam room. Also one of the ceiling panels above the machine was open so for all I know a camera could be installed there. read more

Unprofessional and Unethical Treatment of Elderly Patient - Avoid if You Have Senior Family Members My 82-year-old mother had a scheduled mammogram appointment at RadNet Santa Monica, and our experience was deeply disappointing and distressing. First, I called ahead to let them know we were running slightly late. To their credit, they were accommodating on that front. However, everything went downhill from there. When we arrived, they began asking a series of questions about whether my mother was ambulatory and if she required assistance--questions that were never asked when the appointment was scheduled or during my call. To our surprise, we were told that they could not assist her with standing during the mammogram. I offered to help support my mother myself during the procedure, even saying I'd wear a lead apron to protect from radiation. Mammograms involve a very low dose of radiation, so I didn't anticipate this being a problem. But the staff flatly refused, saying they didn't have anyone available to assist her, and that I wasn't allowed to help either. When I asked if an ultrasound was an option instead, they agreed--and allowed me into the room for that part. Unfortunately, we waited 35 minutes before the technician came in. During that time, my mother was left standing, exposed from the waist up, without a gown. I asked for a gown and was told they don't provide gowns for mammogram patients. For 35 minutes, my elderly mother stood uncovered, and every time the door opened, she was exposed to anyone passing by. This was not only unprofessional--it was unethical and humiliating for her. I'm shocked that questions about mobility and assistance were not part of the initial scheduling or screening process. Had we known they lacked the proper support for elderly patients, we never would have come. If you have elderly parents or relatives, please avoid this location. The staff was neither compassionate nor professional, and they showed no willingness to accommodate a vulnerable senior--even when family was available and willing to help. This was our first and absolutely last time using this facility. I regret bringing my mother here and exposing her to such insensitive care. I highly recommend finding a provider that respects elderly patients and treats them with dignity. read more

I had 2 back to back MRI's. When the MRI's were done- nothing happened. No communication while I am STILL IN the machine. I start saying, "hello" "Update please" after about a minute, more "hellos" from me - then I hear. "you are done" Me: "ok, get me out of the machine then" nothing - no movement. I start pressing the emergency button. The young female tech gave me no communication. I could have been having a medical emergency, if so, I would be dead as there was no response. i keep pressing the emergency button. I then hear, "give me a minute" - not, are you ok, no, but "give me a minute" when she came in about one or two minutes later- to get me out of the machine, needless to say - i was very angry. She said she was talking to the radiologist. When I spoke to the office manager, she said the young tech had to speak to the radiologist (about another patient, because my test was done) The office manager offered no compassion for me being left in the machine. To make matters worse, my husband called the next day to discuss what had happened to me, with the office manager. She was of course unavailable and my husband was told that a MALE tech named Steven, had given me my MRI!! They are now lying to protect themselves!! Now we are wondering if the young female tech is even certified. Stay away from this place. This kind of lack of integrity and professionalism comes from the top - no one is home watching the important aspects of this imaging center. A very dangerous place. The tech was really nice and helpful it he was the only good thing abt the experience. The machines are in the basement - dingy. And they are very old machines. For one who gets claustrophobic it is awful and they don't have an open tube. But the worst part are the front desk people. They first tell u quite 103 and at 5pm the office is closed - no sign or info to go down to the basement. And then whenever u call for help, etc. the front desk women are as rude and u helpful as they possibly can be - on phone and in person. It's all scary enough situation for a patient - why do they have to be rude, unhelpful, full of attitude. Ridic and sad and frustrating. It's 2025 - this should be a much better experience with new machines - we pay enough to these conglomerates that they can afford it. read more

I was trying to come here because I needed to get X-rays done and it's walking distance from my house, so I came with my referral and managed to make an appointment for a Tuesday. The night before, I received a text AFTER HOURS that my appointment was canceled and then it was hard to get in touch with them to confirm this text so I went anyway thinking it was a mistake. NOPE...not a mistake. They tell me X-rays are walk in and to call before I come to make sure someone is there to do the X-Ray. Fast forward to when I'm trying to walk in: I call before coming. They answer but immediately put me on hold. I'm on hold for 15 minutes. Call back to just try and ask a question and IMMEDIATELY put on hold again. I walk in because I'm not trying to waste my day on hold when I just have ONE QUESTION. There is nobody there. They say I can come back tomorrow, but I tell them I don't have the time tomorrow. I would highly recommend this place for MRI. It's a special high grade Tesla machine and is larger than most AND open in both ends. I went there specifically for these reasons since I'm claustrophobic. Staff was professional all around and the technician was kind, knowledgeable and trustworthy. I don't see myself ever coming here again. Soooo many things made my visit feel very demeaning and cold. Front desk staff: Very aloof and unorganized. They called me twice yesterday to ask for information that was already received and were not clear on the self explanatory referral form that detailed why I was coming there. In person they were not helpful at all and nobody seemed to know anything, as if there was literally no communication between the front and back office. Back office staff: Extremely cold, dismissive, vague and rude. I'd never been to this office before, nor had any idea of how the procedures went. The lady who did my mammogram was very impatient. (Mammograms are not even done for women under 40, but considering the nature of my appointment they felt it was necessary). I honestly think they added it on just to build a bigger ticket because I was only referred for an ultrasound. Once in the ultrasound room with another lady she was extremely short and cold. When I asked her why she was doing what she did she said "I can't discuss that". Then she tossed a towel at me to clean up and she said "go wait in the lobby". I'm still in my open facing robe and there is another woman waiting next to me fully clothed! That was the most demeaning part. Absolutely no care or kindness was provided to me. Shortly after she calls me back into the room and says "the doctor said to come back in 6 months for another ultrasound". When I asked why, she said "if there was something wrong you would have to get a biopsy". So I said "well if there isn't anything wrong why do I have to come back??" No answer. I don't even know the doctor's name who recommended this and no one would tell me. Once I went back to the front desk they just looked at me blankly and when I explained what I was told neither of them knew anything. So in front of a lobby full of people I have to explain my personal business. To make it even better, neither would they tell me the name of this mysterious doctor. I strongly advise NOT to come to this office if you want to be treated like a human being or to receive any level of comprehensive care. UPDATE: The following day after I wrote this review someone from this office responded and asked would I like to receive a call to discuss what happened. I obviously said yes and left my phone number and haven't heard from anyone. It's been almost a week now. THIS OFFICE IS TRASH AND DOESN'T CARE ABOUT THEIR PATIENTS AT ALL. DO NOT COME HERE. It's been over a week. The MRI images were loaded the SAME DAY. I called days ago and was told it takes up to 5 business days for the report to be uploaded. Five days go by and no report. I call again and am told 10-15 business days! Still waiting. If you can, go to ProHealth Imagining in West Hills for MRIs. Their reports are back in 2 days. I came here to see how long results typically took and was surprised at the negative reviews. I was able to get an appt rather quickly. Didn't wait long, the staff was lovely. That was last Wednesday 11/06. I have not received any results (today is 11/14) and inquiries through the portal have remained unanswered. Meanwhile I am in constant pain with no resolution in sight. I am very sorry I had to give them 1 star, but there is no review with ZERO stars which is what they deserve. I made an appointment from my ill husband 3 days ago. On the phone, they asked for some information and what type of images he needed: 2 ultrasounds, 1for kidney and bladder and 2 of the liver. They scheduled both for the same day, 1 after the other. Appointment for today at 3:30 pm. 2 days later, they sent a text and an email with requests for the doctors referrals to be uploaded and some other information. I uploaded everything and appointment was confirmed. This was in Santa Monica, and we are in Baldwin Hills (at least 45' to 60'away). They also sent STRICT instructions in preparation for both exams.NO FOOD (but yes to some water)for 8 hours, and during the last hour prior, drink 32oz of water for full bladder. At 1pm I get a call from a RUDE woman, saying that the appointment was moved up to 2:20 and she wanted to make sure that he had fasted for 6 hours and NO WATER! I was very confused and when I said that the instructions said otherwise, she got snappy and more rude. My son had to pick up his father in a rush and drive like crazy to make the appointment while I was on the phone trying to talk to the scheduling manager (CARLA T.) who I never got in touch with. The person who finally took my call checked and said " well, he can drink water, but he shouldn't". TOTAL INSANITY and TOTAL DISREGARD to their professional obligations to their patient. They are playing with human health and lives. They treated my son and his father as if they were doing them a favor by combining both ultrasounds into one. THAT'S NOT WHAT HIS PCP AND NEPHROLOGIST REQUESTED!!!! I made 5 calls to place a formal complain but they never answered. They laughed at me and treated us with disrespect. The are ok professionally. But I like the one in Beverly Hills better. It was not my day, I guess. I arrived at 2:30pm and they sent me upstairs for my ultrasound while I had an X Ray as well. After I am done with ultrasound, I came down at 3:30pm and they softly rejected me and had me come back the next day because they stopped at 4:15 and there were 3 people ahead of me: Now, which is the next day, I follow her instruction to come in the morning at 10am, and I have been here for 2 full hours while the receptionist keeps ensuring me she will see me before her lunch hour at 12:30pm as she walks out for her own lunch hour. Ms. Janet who seems to be the most confident and experienced administrators informs me there are still people ahead of me and it will take at least 45 minutes, which overlaps her lunch hour. She suggests me come back tomorrow AGAIN. I know she means well; but we don't have time to spare 3 times and wait here again and again. It is just not my day, I guess. They are all nice. It just seems somewhere or something is not right if I had been informed to wait at least 2-3 hours rather than knowing this after 2-hour's wait to lake a decision to continue to wait or come back tomorrow again. I purposely chose this facility because I had to schedule several imaging appointments and they were able to offer all of the appointments contiguously on the same day. I rearranged my schedule to be there. Unfortunately when I arrived today I was told that all of my services had been canceled! They claim than "Andrea" called me this morning to tell me that the equipment was broken however I never got any calls. I confirmed they had the correct number but there notes indicated when "Andrea" called someone told her she had the wrong number. "Andrea"never bothered to try again. What a complete waste of my time. And the staff could have cared less about the inconvenience they caused me. read more

My experience with this business has been appauling and unprofessional. I needed to schedule an CT scan, but Radnet has canceled my appointment FIVE times, always just 2 hours before I was supposed to arrive. Each time, I've had to pay for gas, a nanny, and time off work. Four of the cancellations were due to broken machines at two different locations, and once there was no technician available at another site. It feels like this company disregards people's time and emotions. If I canceled five times with such short notice, I would be charged and my insurance would be billed. Yet, Radnet faces no consequences for their repeated cancellations. I strongly recommend reading other reviews and considering Cedars instead. read more

Why would I trust your evaluation of my MRI if you can't even handle the scheduling properly? Very clean and organized. They were very knowledgeable and caring when they had to poke me a couple times to get the veins. I have what is known as small, floating veins so I get that a lot. They did finally get it right and helped me to be as comfortable as possible. The technician explained everything to me and I understood that my results would be on a STAT so I will be getting them real quick which is nice since I am anxious about what is shows. Overall, I feel they are an awesome facility and the staff are very kind and helpful! Definitely a place I would recommend to anyone needing to get MRI scans done in the LA area. There is parking but you can also park on the side to save money. We realized that after the fact, haha. Next time, we'll remember. I will definitely come again! Santa Monica, CA Location: If you can go anywhere else, I would recommend you do that. The front office people were talking loud enough for everyone to know your business, looked unprofessional, and were just complaining to each other non-stop. Techs were in and out arguing with each other as you waited. I had authorization from my insurance company and they were saying they were going to cancel on me for not having authorization???? In the middle of that that tech came out and got me, so I just went in. I drank a ton of liquid as instructed so I asked to go to the bathroom first and the tech rolled their eyes, pointed to the bathroom door and walked away. The MRI machine was so old, it had duct tape holding it together. The tech did not try to make you feel comfortable in any way. I may be wrong, but I feel as though I didn't get the best scan. The entire location design is weird and it feels like you are in a closet from beginning to end. The staff were not happy people. They need customer service training and to be taught that you do not fight and complain in front of patients. It does not give us confidence in their work and makes us second guess if our scans and paperwork were done properly. read more

This was an awful experience. They send a text asking you to fill out document prior to your appointment. I did. When I arrived, they gave me the same document to fill out. I told them I already filled out docs online. They kept asking if I had filled those out. I asked if she had checked to see if my docs were online. Then she finally does and indeed they were there. Then I ask to make sure I am scheduled for both mammogram and ultrasound. She said they didn't get another order from my dr so I am on my scheduled for mammogram. On that same website where I filled out paperwork it said if I don't upload the orders they will get them from Dr. they sure didn't and kept telling me I don't need the ultrasound. I lettering till she called and so did I and my drs office did want ultrasound sound and did send the orders. Then she tells me I have to wait for another 2 hours for the ultrasound. Then when I finally do go in, they is no dressing room. I carry my clothes with me to waiting area. After ultrasound I have to clean up and change in room with technician. I haven't even been there yet and I'm not going there. I had an appointment for a procedure and received a call a half hour before closing to cancel my appointment the next business day. I called the facility to reschedule the appointment, was given a new date. The night before the appointment I got a text from Erica B confirming my appointment the next day. The day of the appointment, I get a text from Erica B. at 0630 canceling my appointment, and to call the facility at 0800 when the facility opens to reschedule. I'm finding another facility. Came in for annual mammogram. I've had nearly 10 years of this svc at their former (and 10x larger) location on Roxbury in Beverly Hills. First, it's not located "in the basement" (as ridiculously claimed by a disgruntled patient on this site); it's on the ground level. However, even though I got a "first thing in the morning" appt, I STILL waited close to an hour, even though my actual appt took 3 minutes. WTF is wrong with service companies? It's incredibly rude (not to mention prompting a complete lack of confidence in their abilities) when something as straightforward as scheduling is utterly mismanaged. The best MRI experience I have ever had. First off, it's easy to find. There is parking available for a fee but I was dropped off in front and had someone picked me up after. When you enter the building you take the elevator down and it's in the basement area. There's no cell service down there but they offer free wifi, so I was able to provide my partner with updates easily. The front desk workers were friendly enough and able to ensure I was checked in and everything was ready to go. My appointment was for 9:30am and i arrived a little early. There was no one else in the office waiting but me, so i was taken almost right away. I was greeted by a very friendly tech named Ever who made the whole experience run smoothly. He didn't make me change into a gown since I wore clothes that were loose and had no metal wiring. He hooked me up to the IV and made sure I was comfortable and ready to go. His bedside manner was some of the best I've witnessed. I always get anxious and nauseous from needles, and after wrapping my wrist up from the IV he offered me water and ensured I was okay. Ever deserves a shout out and raise! Haha! This experience was a complete 180 from the last MRI experience I had at the Beverly Hills location. If you have to have an MRI choose this location out of all the options and you won't regret it. :) read more

I had the most professional and pleasant visit to Resolution Advanced Imaging 2428 W.Santa Monica Bl Suite LL & 103 Sanata Monica, CA 90404. I was immediately greeted by Monique who was very efficeient and helpful!!! Within minutes James the CT Tech came and got me to take the CT scan. James was very caring and came into the room to made sure i was comfortable. His ability to inject me with a needle was so precise I barley felt a prick.He kept making sure that I was okay throughtout the whole percedure!! It took about 9 minutes from beginning to end. I forgot to request a cd and the paper work. So I came back to request a CD and the paper work and Samantha was more than happy to fullfill my inquiry within mimutes.The whole crew had such great energy that I will be going their in the future which is a wee bit out of my way as opposed to the Beverly Hils location, than you!! I had an appointment for 1pm, and arrived at 12:40pm as requested. The ladies at the front desk were cordial but very involved with their own conversations rather than patients' needs. While being checked in, I noticed a mosquito flying around. This made me wonder about the cleanliness of the office and whether there was standing water somewhere. I waited. . .and waited. . .(while turning into an ice cube due to the frigid temperature) and was finally called into the MRI room at 3:00pm. The MRI tech was very apologetic for the delay. He made sure I was comfortable and warm in the machine, then started the test. About 10 minutes into it, he pulled me back out of the machine and informed me that the machine was broken and I'd have to reschedule. Now I have to go back tomorrow morning. I'm really disappointed that I have to waste more time, but have to go because I really need the imaging done. Yes, a catch 22. Be prepared to be patient if you ever need to go to here. Bring entertainment, something warm to wear and water. And take mosquito repellent too. read more

I'd like to update my review to add that they told me insurance did not approve my MRI, and that I would need to pay $420 out-of-pocket. I come to find out a few hours after my MRI this morning that my insurance did approve the MRI, and I called them to tell them that I have an approval number. Unfortunately I had a very poor experience at this facility. I was scheduled for an MRI on Monday morning at 840 and arrived at 820 as advised. I was told at 820 that my technician was no longer available and that I would have to reschedule. No phone call, no voicemail, zero notice. When I asked if I could reschedule for the same day I was told "unfortunately we do not have any openings today or for the next 3 weeks". Yes, I was told to schedule an appointment for 3 weeks out! I was not offered a cancellation slot or anything. Just zero care and effort on their part to assist in a situation where the facility messed up. I highly advise everyone to take their business elsewhere. read more

Like many have already said, these people overbook you and cancel you last minute. My provider wanted an urgent ultrasound. I called and was able to get an appointment for the first time slot the following morning. Yay! Then at 6:40am right before my appointment, I received a text message saying my appointment was cancelled and to call back after 8am. I call back, and am told the reason my appointment was cancelled was because there was no available technician and the soonest appointment is over 2 weeks away. Absolutely unbelievable! This isn't a third world country. How do you provide "care" like this? This place should be shut down. read more
