-Office experience is like going to old time office, not therapeutic/Calming env - A week into the treatment, the loved relapsed and they refused to continue until sober for 5 days. Risk the patient to continue relapse than risking see the individual once and not leaving the individual without therapy. Yet, this not always followed, they have allowed other patient to come back the next day!!! - They had accepted for the client a year later after being at treatment residential treatment to come back, all the sudden crises management at https://www.crisiscm.com/, CCM is a very unethical engaged, and bullied my loved one, threatened to cut her off and make her homeless. Disappointing is that Resolution team decided to team up with this unethical CCM team who is employing threats towards the loved one, refused to treat her after that had agreed she joined until CCM came and influenced them and they been informed is that CCM left my loved one without treatment even resolution and two other provider were given to CCM. Resolution being told that CCM is following an unethical approach towards the loved one with PTSD, yet stayed siding now she can come back under the CCM case manager Andrea Arlington. A police report is underway against the ongoing bullying, stigmatizing approach being followed towards a helpless PTSD sufferer. Plenty of screenshots on the type of communication, Isolating loved ones from her primary caregiver through manipulative influence, despite closeness with her caregiver, therapeutic bond and her ongoing support, Pressured under duress, unethical and traumatizing approach to psychiatric recovery. My loved one was denied trauma-informed, patient-centered care, and instead subjected to a power dynamic that re-traumatized her, violated ethical standards of family inclusion, and disrespected her autonomy by CCM case manager Andrea Arlington & resolution team decided to listen to this unethical team. The past few months have been challenging to say the least. I normally see a therapiast once a week for everyday problems just to have a unbiased person listen to my everyday "problems" so I can have a healthy perspective on things. Since COVID, things have been difficult. The loss of a job, a parent being sick, me having an autoimmune disease which makes COVID extra tough, a partner going through a pretty nasty divorce... it's all a lot for someone to handle normally, let alone during a pandemic. I know there is a stigma associated with mental health but we need to change that. There is nothing wrong with asking for help when life can be overwhwlming. My therapiast works at resolutions and suggested that I meet with Reza, the owner of Resolutions and do an initial evaluation to see if I would be a good fit for their outpatient program. I had never done any kind of outpatient therapy before and Reza and his team could not have made me feel more comfortable. My case worker Kimberly worked with Reza and my therapist to put together a schedule that worked for the events happening in my life that were out of my control. I started with a month. At first, 4 days a week and as each week went by, we would taper the days. I had a great mix of group therapy with all kinds of themes and 1:1 therapy with my normal therapist along with a few other amazing therapists. (I dont want to use names to make anyone feel they were less than any other therapists). Over teletherapy, it seemed a little hard at first to really connect, but after about three days I had made connections with other people in the groups swapping books that had helped them, etc. My caseworker was great at checking in with me to make sure I wasn't afraid to voice groups I felt were not for me and the ones that I was really getting a lot out of. I'm now in the middle of my second month and I feel I will be leaving with so much knowledge about myself, how to handle all kinds of situations, but also how to understand other people's hurt and suffering which might not always be obvious. I've changed my perception of thinking about other people and how I can make the best out of a less than "ideal situation. I've also learned how to put myself first in the apprpriate situations. You can only be good for your loved ones if you are good to yourself. Self help is so easily pushed off since we all live such busy lives; I am so happy that I have had this time to get back to center. When you are done with the outpatient program you have the option to still continue with therapists or stay in groups but more on an a la carte menu. You would just pay for the sessions. Peace of mind is worth more than anything, especially during these uncertain times and i'm so greatful to Reza and his team for helping me get that back to that place. read more

Resolutions said they mistakenly charged $7,500 on my american express credit card but can't cancel the charge. There solution was sending me a check in the amount of $7,500. I have yet to get the check and no one calls me back. I do not recommend this outpatient facility. There are so many others to choose from and most importantly they're dishonest. read more

I have been in and out of seven different in patients rehab prior to Resolutions. Therefore I was already pretty familiar with the usual treatments, groups, counselors. On my last relapse, after waking up in prison after only a very brief, but destructive relapse, I felt hopeless, I have had all the help in the world from some of the best places. I was told that Resolutions would tailor to my needs. I could pick what I needed! Not just start again as if I was new, or just like anybody else. I could pick specific groups, therapists, and treatments, that I knew I needed. Everyone is different, and they recognize this. There was an incredible variety to pick from, like art therapy, DBT skills, EMDR, neurofeedback, life coaching, nutritionist, movement, music, and more! The therapists, psychiatrists, acupuncturist, assistants, case managers, and more and more have been so accommodating, sweet, and wonderful to me! I went in very ready to dig deep into issues that had been glazed over previously, then I realized we were gonna peel more layers off! This has been terrifying, but They've pushed me, held me, and I can honestly say I've never been better. It has been painful to really "recover" myself, but that is the hurdle needed for recovery. The staff from Antonio to Lee, my therapist Don, Dr. Reza, acupuncturist Sepi, therapist Deborah and my beautiful case manager inside and out Holly, are indescribably intelligent and compassionate human beings. I truly believe that the people at this treatment facility care about my well being and take recovery very seriously. Every staff member goes above and beyond to make sure all my needs are met as well as being 3 steps ahead of me. I receive thoughtful text messages from my therapist and case manager checking on me during events such as family vacations etc. I can call my therapist and case manager well after hours or on weekends and they always get back to me promptly and ready to help. Before Resolutions I was using all day every day the worst of the hard drugs just to be able to get through the day without getting sick, I was depressed, angry, and loathed myself to the core, I didn't think I deserved to live. I was a patient/client at Resolutions for a little over two and a half years. When I started there I was fresh off of a 3 month inpatient stay for the treatment of anxiety, depression, and alcoholism at another dual diagnosis facility. I was in real need of a great aftercare team to help me continue recovery and I got every bit of what I needed and more through Resolutions. The majority of my treatment revolves around individual therapy and life coaching sessions, both of which were the best services that you will find anyplace in the country and for that I am extremely grateful. I love Yoga but I was felling like I wasn't advancing in my practice. I don't know about you but I learned Yoga by mimicking those around me in classes and gluing my eyes on the instructor whenever in sight. This worked, so I thought, for a while but I didn't feel comfortable going past the beginner level classes. So I decided to do something about it! I signed up for a private yoga lesson at Resolutions. I would have never known that this place would even offer yoga had it not been for a client of mines telling me about it. I just had my second session yesterday and it was amazing! Not only have I been learning how to do the poses properly, Katie has taught me techniques and tips on how to remember them. I was able to relax my mind & spirit while improving my strength and flexibility. I'm mastering the basics now. When I tell you I have been to many IOP programs in my time in active addiction trust me when I tell you the number is very high. To say that resolutions was the best of them would not be doing the program justice. Doctor Reza and his team have put together a program that combines the best old school talk therapy with cutting edge new age approaches like acupuncture and nuero feedback. Even more important then the actual services that are available at resolutions is the care and support I felt while going to there program when just leaving treatment and becoming newly sober this is actually where the work begins its easy to stay sober while inside a treatment facility but once you start to go back into the real world this is where things get tricky. I can tell you I felt completely safe in my early days of sobriety because I had the support of resolutions. They designed a plan specifically for my needs which included a nutritionist meditation group therapy acupuncture and 1 on 1 therapy in all honesty I made more progress in this custom designed program then in any other treatment program I have every taken part in. Another positive aspect of resolutions is the pedigree of the staff populating it they are absolutely the best in the business at what they do and to this day I still use my therapist that I first engaged with at resolutions. The final point I'll make is this I have been sober for almost two years now and prior to this I had troulble staying off drugs for a day, I credit a huge portion of my success to the tools and coping mechanisms I learned at resolutions I can't say enough good things about them. It is a miracle that I found Resolutions- i dont believe any other treatment center would have given me back my safety, my family and a life worth living. I arrived after making a suicide attempt. I have suffered from depression my whole life however did not know that I am bipolar. I am 50+ years old. Read this review and you will think that i am exaggerating. Just ask the dozens of clients that I have met here over the past 6 months. For many of my peers, This is their 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th or even 6th treatment center. And the consensus is : Resolutions is unique and a gift to all of us. Here's the Resolutions formula: 1. Hands on daily management by founder and CEO Dr Reza Nabovi. 2. The expertise of each professional that I meet with is off the charts. And i have been in therapy my whole life. I have had so many "a-ha" moments in group therapy. 3. True team management. My individual psychoanalyst, spiritual coach, family therapist, acupuncturist, neurofeedback specialist, team coordinator and Psychiatrist communicate very closely with one another. I dont have to repeat my story to each one. . Each knows what the outcome/struggle was in my family therapy session the day before ......or that my medication has changed. 4. I meet with my therapy coordinator ( who is a therapist herself) each week to discuss what changes I want to make for my treatment. She also responds to my texts in record speed. She is my "go-to person" for everything. If I request , she will swap me out a therapist that I am not connecting with. Or give me more group therapy. Or schedule me to meet more often with my family therapist. Never pushback. Never attitude. Genuine care for my recovery. And the changes happen the next week. 5. Coordination between administration and clinical team is seamless. A well oiled machine. The administrative team is organized , flexible and thoughtful. An open door policy. Always willing to help. 6. Resolutions has a Mind-Body-Spirit body approach to healing. And every professional values and lives their lives according to this worldview. 7. Every therapist and professional that i have worked with has dealt with mental illness or addiction of some kind themselves. I feel totally understood. There is no ivory tower by-the-book therapy. They have walked in my shoes in some way, and for this reason, I trust their advice and process. 8. My spiritual coach is part of the magic of this place. I know " spiritual coach" sounds granola LA. Thats how i felt. However, the reality is that my spirit was broken.... and now its on the mend. 9. Resolutions slowly introduces you back into the real world in a caring, accommodating way. Resolutions helped me create a better life than I could have imagined before I started using. I read the other reviews. No one else came here and frankly the client has to have hit a bottom and want to change for any treatment to work. Background information; I came to la for sober living after a 28 day program on the east coast, where I'm from. Rather than letting my sober living or rehab funnel me into their Iop (intensive outpatient treatment) they get a kick back from, I demanded to be able to shop around. I looked at pch and Westside and then came to resolutions. Within minutes I could tell there was something different about this place. While it is extremely expensive (not any more so than other iops) I got the sense that it wasn't a business, but a safe haven where someone struggling with serious issues in their life could come to find smart dedicated professionals who truly care about helping to give you back your life. I met with five different individual psychologists and a physciatrist once a week as well as participated in multiple groups, which after all the individual treatment, served to buttress and add to my recovery not frustrate me like rehab and other iops tend to do because there they are the bulk of the program. Through psychology, I was able to discovery the true source of my substance abuse. Then using new fields of psychology such as sematic experiencing and neurofeedback, I was able to isolate and treat specific moments of trauma and relax my mind to the point where I truly don't have any cravings because i love and respect the person I am and have no desire to change him in any way. I have no skin in the game. I want other addicts like me to find what I have. So do yourself a favor and go beyond what I did. Try a full day in every Iop. It's 9 grand a month; if a car dealer didn't let you test drive a car, would you trust him? By the time I arrived here, I was already a very jaded person about the treatment system. In fact, as I realize these days in retrospect, I was a jaded person about pretty much everything one could be skeptical of. Addiction can harden a person, myself certainly no exception: I enshrouded myself and my ideas in a thick layer of condescension that often resisted change. As many of us (I assume if you are reading this you must have some interest in treatment) are funneled through institution after generalized institution, these convictions only serve to become solidified--that we are always right, that people don't care about us, that all they want is our money, etcetera etcetera. It is hard to discriminate between treatment centers because any outpatient with a marketing team is smart enough to have the same bottom line in their advertising and outreach: personalization, individualized care, genuine support. Beyond all those buzzwords though, what we really search for (or at least what I really searched for, and failed time and time again to find) is a treatment service that cares about us as PEOPLE, not as dollar signs, and wants to see us become the best version of ourselves. I can say without a doubt that I have found these sentiments and positive qualities--which so many other treatment centers emptily harp--to be genuinely true of this location, and only this location. Of course there will be naysayers (see the negative review below) in an industry helping people who have been, for a large part of their lives, characterized by defiance. You cannot and will not get better if you don't want to, and some blame others for their own failings. But if you genuinely want to not just recover, but grow as a person, this is the place for you. They will stick by you unfailingly. My schedule is constantly evolving and changing--I have a fast-paced life. But for some time now, they have been consistently shaping and reshaping my schedule around my individual needs from both a time perspective and treatment perspective. I have seen several different psychologists, as well as a psychiatrist when requested. The groups aid my individual progress rather than throwing me in with everybody else and serving us all the same shtick (like with most IOPs). I have developed one of the most difficult things for me to develop with this place--trust. It really is my safe haven, and it will be yours too if you allow it to be. read more

I have been attending Resolutions for about 4 months now, and I sincerely believe that it has been the helping hand that I needed in order to function properly in my day to day life. My reasons for going to IOP were probably a little different from most scenarios of outpatient, as I am actually 3 years sober at the end of this August 2016. I decided to go to IOP as I felt my life had become stagnant, and was having difficulty in nearly every area of my day to day functions. Although I was sober I was facing depression, insomnia, difficulty eating, showering, keeping any form of routine, sleeping all day, finding it difficult to face the day and get out of bed. I was functioning in the most limited way possible, and after a year of fluctuating in and out of this disfunction, I had for months been contemplating reaching out for help. When I did reach out, the difficulty of finding a solution to help in all of these dysfunctional areas, proved to be a challenge. IOP was not even an option that I had considered. I luckily have a boyfriend who had been through Resolutions. He has now been sober for 2 years and still works with his case manager from Resolutions. He had been through numerous rehabs and sober livings, and shockingly Resolutions was the last stop on his 2 year road to sobriety. I absolutely never thought he would get sober, and after experiencing Resolutions for myself I understood why it had made such a great impact in his sobriety. I have been through treatment centers before, as well as watched many of my friends go through multiple treatment centers, and I had become extremely untrusting of any form of treatment facility. In my history with treatment centers there have been extremely negative experiences. I went into Resolutions with great hesitation and was looking for any signs of disingenuous behavior. I found that EVERY SINGLE staff member there is actually there to help each INDIVIDUAL client that walks through their doors. This had to be the first most shocking revelation I found with Resolutions. I then found their structure, therapists, and staff to be organized, loving, kind, caring, respectful, intelligent, attentive, and so forth. Each individual client is set up with a case manager, therapists, and groups that are best suited to their unique personality. They take time to individualize this experience to each person, and they make sure to be in constant contact with you, to help you every step of the way. Within the first two months of Resolutions my life changed. I now have two part time stylist jobs, one is with a personal client, and the other is with a major clothing company. I am able to get out of bed in the early morning, show up on time, be well rested from being able to sleep the night before, and work a full day. I was also accepted to Otis College during this time and have had my Case Manager Holly helping me with a lot of the steps along the way. Anything that I might have had difficulty following through with due to my anxiety, Holly has helped me successfully complete. Things such as faxing forms, sending emails, contacting my new college counselor, etc. Simple things that in the past I couldn't ask for the help I needed, and let build up and overwhelm me. Resolutions, for me, has been the helping hand that I needed to get my life back on track and to become consistent again.
