Been going here for years! Why are people Rating this so low?! You guys- this is a good salon, their nail techs work hard. They are so pleasant and friendly. I like to use the same people but work hard hours and come last minute so I often get whomever is available and yet still I get good service and quality work for Nextgen nails and more. I love this business! I want to see them around and do well for a very long time. Here are the photos over the YEARS of good work they have done for me. Inconsistent service. One out of five times, I might be pleased. Most times I leave, I say I'm not going back.

I have previously only gotten pedicure services here. However, my past 3 visits I have gotten dip/manicure services and the past 2 times I have unfortunately left less than satisfied. The first bad experience was with a bad design that fortunately management allowed me to get fixed for no additional charge. This most recent time I got a regular manicure set & the nail polish was visibly textured and layered from the different coats. The customer service is great on the other hand, but I will most likely no longer get manicure services anymore. My experiences with that particular service have been very unpleasant. read more

On a whim, a buddy and I walked in over the lunch hour and were served immediately. Mike was super friendly and welcoming. Nancy did a great job on my manicure and pedicure. I was very pleased with my results. I definitely liked the price. Complimentary beverages were offered. Atmosphere was clean, organized, and well run. This was a boutique experience. I came before vacation to camouflage having lost my two big toe nails. My visit was in November. By January, my toe nails are growing out and the acrylic nails have NEVER fallen off. My nail tech back home made sure the nail underneath was healthy and simply did a fill. I should've turned around soon as I walked in! The smell was off, the service wasn't friendly, I was told there are no menus and only 2 options for pedicures $50 or $80 I said well what comes with them? I've been coming here for the last two years. Every now and then there's mishaps but nothing that stopped me from coming back. To help with the cost, recently I stopped doing dip, went to gel but this past weekend decided on regular polish. After two days my nails look like this, no I haven't been ruff with them, no dishwashing or cleaning, the only time they were in water was when I washed my hands or showered. My search for a quality nail tech continues. I'm new to the Dallas area and walked into this establishment on a whim. My wait time due to the walk-in was about 45 Minutes, which I was okay with. I was paired with a nail tech and asked for the build a gel option because I have never tried it before. I was charged $60 for this service. She proceeded to tell me they only had 2 colors, so I picked the nude pink. I didn't get a massage, and the build a gel was bulky on a couple of nails. Some of the nail techs are good, some are not. I went in the summer and they had no A/C. After starting to come here, my nails started to weaken and break, two splitting down the middle. For my first time here everything went so well!!! Mike from the front desk is super nice and when i came back to shorten my nails he was quick to fix my situation! Becky did my nails originally and she was amazing, quick and super detail oriented. I had to come back a couple hours later to shorten my nails due to my job dress code and I had another woman who was also super nice and gave me good advice on what to get and what was cute, I apologized to her and she was very helpful and understanding. This past Thursday I took my mother in law in for a gel mani and gel pedi. I did get the better pedicure but it was still pricey. Just for her it was $130. It was too much for a basic manicure to her natural nails. I got a French dip set which was okay but the worst part of this whole experience was my gel pedicure. I asked the girl for a black gel set and that's not what I got. It took the girl 3 times to get the polish to go on smooth and to cure it. I put my shoes on and left. (With gel that should be totally fine) Well it wasn't fine. When I took my shoes off that evening, the picture below is what I was left with. The nail tech used a basic black nail polish and used gel top coat and charged me the same.... And I know this because another nail tech told me so and was able to take off the polish with polish remover after she ground the top layer. I will never go back to this salon. read more

I love that he lets your feet soak because I tend to get horrible calluses. He never makes me feel bad about it either . His massages are relaxing and the Polish application is gel flawless. I was grateful I was available for a last minute walk in on a busy Saturday. Look at that shape. Based on my experience, this place deserves ALL 5 stars. I've become a regular customer here since I moved to Dallas 4 months ago. I have received consistently great service from the moment I walk in until I walk out of the door. This nail spa is located in a newly built shopping strip in what is known as Kessler Park. There is plenty of parking space, however, the space that you find may not be all that close to the front of Resort Nails. Don't fret...a few extra steps is totally worth it. The shop is immaculately clean and the decor is fancy to the max. I just love an upscale-looking spot - especially one where I go to spend money to get pampered lol. During your service(s), you can enjoy watching what's being broadcast on one of their three flat screen tv's with the closed captioning feature on. You can expect to spend anywhere from $18 to $55 depending on whether you want a classic manicure or a full set with dipping powder. Whatever you'd like, just fill out the handy form upon entry with your name and check off your preferred service. I appreciate the form process, in that you can't be blindsided by prices after the fact. I really wanted to like this place, because North Oak Cliff desperately needs something between the ultra fancy organic free range pedicures and the rock bottom, bring your own base coat spots. When I walked in, I had high hopes. It looked clean and new. Prices were a touch steep, but they were offering grand opening discounts. The pricing is fair: I got a signature pomegranate pedicure with hot stone massage and paraffin wax treatment and a gel manicure for $78. The massage chairs are more comfortable and a newer style than others. They look like little spaceships with LED lights. The nail techs were thorough and worked hard to remove dead skin and cuticles.
