What a hidden gem! I've been here three times during my trip to Copenhagen and have been increasingly more impressed each time. First trip- Coffee. Ok, it was terrible, don't go for coffee. There's a cafe around the corner that it better equipped to deal with providing the people of Copenhagen with sorely needed caffeine. Coffee aside, I returned for dinner. This fine establishment has a smell of fresh bread that emanates throughout the restaurant that will make you hungry just walking in the door. We had two pizzas and a mixed salad to share. One of the pizzas was incorrect and this was quickly rectified without issue. Being a fan of a thinner crust, I quite enjoyed the pizzas which came out piping hot and the ingredients fresh. I wasn't expecting much from the salad but it was amazing! Served in a large bowl with a pesto dressing, it was extremely fresh, crunchy and flavourful. Even my partner couldn't stop commenting on the salad which was a pleasant surprise from the sometimes crappy side salad you get with a meal. I would have left with four stars, but wait! I returned tonight after a particularly lazy day of sitting/reading/ napping across the street at the Adina Apartments. So I moseyed right back not not feeling like eating a whole pizza again, opting instead for the chicken ceasar salad. My partner had the spaghetti bolognese with a bruschetta to start. Everything was delightful! Again, a huge bowl of freshly prepared veggies and hot grilled chicken and croutons. The bolognese was freshly prepared and the bruschetta (which looked like a calzone) was so flavourful with garlic, cheese and fresh tomato inside. All prepared with care, you can just tell. And let's talk service and pricing here people. There are two men I've met so far who are absolute sweethearts- super friendly, accommodating and I loved the ability to connect and converse over delicious food despite the language barrier. I left with my belly full and feeling very happy with service received. Amazing quality and well worth stopping by if you're in the area!

One of my favorite restaurants in Copenhagen. The margherita pizza and spaghetti bolognese are both delicious, and the staff is wonderful. I make a point to visit this restaurant every time I am in the city. I definitely recommend!

Nice patio, we stayed at the hotel in front of this restaurant. Pizza was amazing! We had pasta as well, it was good but portion was a bit small. Great service, we aware they only take cash, danish credit card or Mastercard.

Greek salad. They kindly provided a side of lovely dark balsamic vinegar. Yummy!!

Excellent food. Excellent & very friendly staff. Family environment. My sister & I ordered different pastas and they were excellent. American espresso is absolutely awesome! Green tea is loose leaf in a strainer - really good quality tea. As an American visiting Copenhagen, I highly recommend this restaurant to you.

Ranked as the 6th best burger in the world by Food and Wine magazine in 2024 ("Organic beef…read morecheeseburger with onions, pickles, and a house Gasoline Sauce. $16 "), the Gasoline Grill hamburger restaurant has multiple locations throughout Denmark. It's one of those things where I was glad I stopped by, but didn't really experience anything with the food or ambiance that would make me recommend this as a out-of-the way stop that the ranking would seem to suggest. This one is the original, using the station building as a walk-up window with the kitchen inside. They have a few picnic tables on the side for outdoor dining, and I do think that it's important to eat the burger as soon as possible. The interesting thing is that it is still a working gas station, with an island with multiple pumps dispensing petrol (which I didn't see being used during my wait) and some electric charging stations (which was actively being used). I was able to place my order (nothing customized, just wanted exactly as they described after about a 10 minute wait, got my lemonade right away, and waited another 10 minutes to get my food (everything is made-to-order). The cheeseburger was 110 DKK, fries was 40, lemonade was 35, and dipping sauce was 10 with 10 off for being a combo. So total was 185 DKK (about $28.88 in USD). The process and food reminded me very much of a Shake Shack, with the young workers working together to produce well-made smashburgers using great ingredients. The color scheme reminds me of a Wingstop, though. I squeezed between a couple of single diners and dug in. The burger was good, with that loose smash burger quality. It came with a mayo based thousand island like sauce (their gasoline sauce), and had tomato, pickles, red onion slices, and a gooey, plentiful cheese. The lemonade was good, and the hint of elderflower made it memorable. The crinkle fries were good, well done fried which I appreciate. Ate the meal fast before my hands started to freeze up, tossed the remains in the gas station islands garbage bin and was on my way. I really do think a food like this is all about where you eat it...if on an airplane, or at a ballpark, or at the beach...yeah, I could see the appeal. But at a gas station in freezing weather on a picnic table...not so much.

Very cool spot, I wish we had time to try more menu items. The cheeseburger was great, although…read morequite expensive!
