Beautiful spot to grab food and drinks right on the beach, but it is pricy (as expected). My friend and I stopped by for a quick meal after doing a boat/snorkeling tour nearby. We came Sunday around 3 pm and it wasn't too crowded. They have both covered seating with tables or beds/chairs right on the sand with shade. We opted for the latter. The menu has appetizers like guac and fries, seafood, tacos, nachos, burritos, pizza, burgers, and specials like lobster and catch of the day. Nothing too exciting. I started with a watermelon margarita (240 pesos), which was good but I couldn't taste much of the watermelon. For food I tried the shrimp tacos (250 pesos), which came with three tacos. It was my first time trying shrimp tacos, but it tasted exactly as expected and I enjoyed it. My friend got a veggie burrito for 290 pesos. The portion size of the burrito was quite small, but at least it came with some fries on the side. All in all, food was pretty average, but you're really paying for the ambience at a place like this. read more

From the beach the restaurant is towards the from of the hotel. There's a QR code for the menu and wifi access. I had the shrimp tacos, they were really good. The shrimp were fresh and not over powering the dish. The chard chilies were perfectly smoked flavor to balance the dish. The ceviche is really nice also. Mango slices gave the dish a sweetness. The Pescadores tacos is a really nice light fish, crunch of the fried taco shell worked well with the flavors of the fish. All in all a really good place to drop into from the beach and sit under a breezy shaded area to have lunch. read more

We had heard great things about Villa Pescadores, but didn't realize how easily we were able to find it on our way back to our hotel following the Tulum ruins. Thankfully, we were not disappointed! The tempura fish tacos were some of the best we've ever tasted (and this is coming from two Californians). The cochinita pibil tacos were also great, but probably not the best we had throughout our trip. This is a nice beach club at Playa Paraiso. The food and drinks were decent. Don't expect inexpensive drinks or food here- drinks are $9/$10 USD here and so is food. For two people, we got three drinks, guacamole, and quesadillas for $65 USD. The drinks were large and strong. The beach and vibe here is very nice, as is the service. You get a great view of the fishermen bringing in their catches, and when you go into the water you can see the Tulum ruins up on the cliff. Definitely worth a visit. read more

The place is beautiful but, tried to get service and was surprisingly stereotyped (I'm Hispanic, from the US) there were mainly Americans dining having drinks, waiter also Mexican came back after checking if there was a table (there was) and said we needed to consume a minimum of $1000 pesos per person , not a lot if you do the conversion (about $50 usd) as if it would be too much for us... kindly said ok thanks. We ate and drank here a bunch during our stay at Villa Pescadores. It probably is the best place to eat on the beach within a half a mile walk. A few things I learned: * The quesadillas are massive and very fairly priced. * The best deal on drinks is the bucket of 5 beers for $10 USD * The margaritas are totally legit but the price adds up fast * The roasted corn was amazing * The ceviches are pretty yummy and hey, you're on the beach, so what's $15? The beach is excellent. The beach club has: umbrellas, lounge chairs, food, beer, drinks. The service is erratic in its speed. The food is average but, the fish tacos were very good. Superb service, very quiet for the most part and centrally located. Only downside is it's an open air restaurant, so on a hot humid day, you're essentially melting away. Villa Pescadores had very good ceviche with healthy portions of fish. Shrimp was also very well cooked and seasoned. Guacamole was very good and fresh and went well with the free chips and salsa they gave us. This restaurant was an easy 10-15 minute walk from the Mayan ruins. We were very impressed with the view, service, and food. You get to eat right on the beach with your toes in the sand. This was our first dinner in Tulum. We're staying at the sister hotel but opted to eat at Pescadero for dinner because they had more Mexican options. They have swings at there bar! I love this about Mexico. Eventually we moved to one of the beds so we could layout and order food. The chips and salsa that they give to you complimentary was the best! The Salsa looks like it came out of a blender. It was soooo good. And the tortilla chips were fresh. The lunch was good. But they want to rip us off! They printed 2 different menue, one with the real prices and another one with fake prices. For examples we ordered one fish for 300 pesos and when they brought us back the bill the fish was 900 pesos. Be careful about the prices. read more

Such a good restaurant! We stayed here for 5 days and tried nearly everything on the menu. The beach restaurant has amazing Tostadas de atun! For the hotel restaurant we recommend the fish bites and Atun ceviche and the ceviche mixto. Even the pastas are good. Try the Sea Grass drink. Both service and food were bad: juice was full of ice, despite us requesting (twice) not to add it. We ordered 3 "catch of the day" dishes. According to the waiter, it was "cock fish". One piece was ok, two remaining were bitter and dry (probably the tail). We complained, and were told that it was actually a grouper. Somebody from the kitchen tried a bite and agreed with our complaints. However, the waiter only agreed to take one of the dishes off the bill. The side dish was also not as described (e.g., avocados were missing). Restaurant did not offer any replacement or apology, but added a 15% tip to our check instead. Probably a nice place for a drink on the beach, but not for dinner - there are few better spots in the area. read more

We are staying here for 8 days for our honeymoon. Restaurant is well above the average for hotels in this area. Grilled veggies and garlic shrimp were both very good, however menu changes regularly so might not always be here. Rest assured everything you order will be tasty.
