The ambiance is really nice and the servers are very attentive and responsive for the most part. There was a time they told us that they would bring us more rice but they ended up not bringing it and there was a slight communication barrier but nothing too crazy. The food that we ordered was pretty good. It's not spectacular or particularly flavorful but it gets the job done when you're really hungry. The shrimp appetizer and the rice paper, the fried one, is delicious. The three flavors whole fish was okay. I feel like the fish needed its own flavor and it was slightly overfried but it was fine. Once you are seated, you receive a small bowl of ceviche and crackers. It was really delicious. I wanted a virgin Pina colada, so the bartender made one for me and it was delicious. My husband had a beer and we added a cocoa cola at the end. My entree was steak and shrimp fajitas, and my husband had steak, shrimp and rice. It also comes with French fries. My only disappointment was they didn't devein their shrimp. That is a big turn off and I didn't eat it. I've never had shrimp that wasn't deveined. My husband removed them, but I end up just eating the steak. Once I saw that, you could forget it. But anyway, some people don't mind that, but I do and I'm a very picky eater. Nah, when she landed for her birthday visit she said "I want more of that red snapper from that place..." After some digging about, I realized "that place" was this. No surprise, the food, particularly the red snapper, was great! It was just as before, well-seasoned, good portions and worth the price. The service was also excellent which is always a plus. Feng Zao (Chicken Feet) 8.5/10 Good color and the skin has the classic wrinkled texture from braising. The flavor is savory with a slight sweetness, though a little lighter than expected. Beef Tripe 8.5/10 Tender with a slight chew and absorbs the sauce well. The radish underneath was really good. Beef Rice Roll 7.5/10 The flavor is good, but the presentation is not very Cantonese style. The rice roll is slightly thick but has a nice rice fragrance. The soy sauce they use is not very authentic. I used to eat rice rolls almost every day for breakfast when I was in school in Guangzhou, so I am very picky about rice rolls.
