The Griddle is a quaint little breakfast spot in Norcross heading toward Dunwoody. It's has a diner flair and can be quite busy at times. They offer only interior seating and the parking lot is shared with the surrounding shops in the center. The co-workers were very nice and were able to make substitutions accordingly. The portions of food we ordered were huge and the food itself was very flavorful.

Classic American Diner style food. Simple but full of flavor. Nothing particularly fancy, but that's just fine. The prices are reasonable and the service is great. The omelette was nice and buttery and done perfectly. Sunny side up eggs were perfect, the hashbrowns were crispy and had a some shrimp which was different and good. The kids pancakes were nice a fluffy.

The griddle is a cute diner with attentive service. If you sit by the door in the winter, prepare for a chill blast everyone someone opens the door. Brrr! The chicken and waffles were good with the strawberry butter. The pancakes were enormous! My cinnamon raisin French toast was okay and the corned beef hash grilled to perfection. The coffee was decent and the real half and half made it delicious. The kitchen and bathrooms were uber clean.

The Griddle is the perfect spot for a laid-back brunch with a touch of homey charm! Think of it as your friendly neighborhood ma-and-pa waffle house, where smiles and great service are served alongside your pancakes. The staff was absolutely fantastic--attentive, kind, and quick to make us feel at home. The prices are refreshingly affordable, so you can indulge without breaking the bank. Whether you're craving waffles, eggs, or a good old-fashioned breakfast plate, The Griddle delivers that classic diner experience with a cozy twist. Also for parents, this is kid friendly but might be limited on high chairs!

New Establishment Alert! Decided to try out a new spot in the area. The Griddle offers your traditional breakfast items, waffles, pancakes, French toast and omelettes. I also say NY strips on the menu. The service was decent. Pretty busy on a Sunday morning. Almost all tables were occupied. On Yelp, there is no number but there is a number listed on the Togo menus. I imagine they do take Togo order but I'm not sure. The staff was working hard getting orders out which I appreciate. I think wait time was 10-15 min (at least for my Togo order). The interior is pretty bland. Literally no decor but I guess it takes time for things like that. It definitely has potential. As far as the food goes. The Belgian waffle and pancakes were good. Nothing special, very much a home cooked meal type of deal. The grits needed salt or some butter (judge ya momma if you have an issue with salt or butter). The hash was soooooo dry and no amount of ketchup could save it. Overall, was the food "nasty", no it wasn't, but is there room for improvement, over course. Will I give it another try, I think I've seen all I needed to see but I would still recommend if you just hate Waffle House or Ihop (both relatively close and would likely make for a better experience).

Great neighborhood breakfast/lunch spot. The area was in need of a place like this. Very clean, staff was very attentive and professional. We will definitely come back again.

I wish I could give them 0 stars, so after hearing about this place from work, I decided to stop by and enjoy a meal. Food came out warm.... BUT IT WAS HAIR IN MY FOOD. The Manager was called over and he said it Happens!!!!! Hmmm... I've eaten around the world, cuz I'm foodie. But No it don't happen, that's disgusting!!! I I Don't eat my own hair so why would I want to eat somebody else's!!!

Upon walking in around 11am on a Saturday, we were immediately greeted and sat. Our server was very nice, attentive, and informative. The food came out reasonably quick after ordering. It was nice to watch the staff cook and make our food while waiting. It added the the overall home town feel the place had. There was plenty of seating, both booth and table, and they had a consistent crowd throughout our visit. A clear popular choice for both locals and passerby's like me. I had the Belgium waffle, bacon, and hash browns. I was pleasantly surprised at how filling, yet light, the meal felt. The hash browns had a perfect crisp without any oily residue, and the waffle was very airy and delicious! They have their signature strawberry butter that comes with every waffle. I'm personally not a huge fan of fruit with my waffle but I gave it a taste and really enjoyed it! With a whipped butter base, you could taste the strawberry without it being over powering. I tasted a little of my partners corned beef hash. It strongly reminded me of the canned version from the store, but since they put it on the grill to caramelize the beef it was very tasty! Give this place a try if you're in the area!

The inside is on the smaller side but in a cozy sense. Immediately upon entering we were greeted and welcomed. The staff were very friendly and inviting. They recommended items and explained them to us. Parking was easy at the time we went but can get tricky as the day goes on. We were there in the early am so it wasn't packed thankfully. When they delivered the food I was a tad shocked by the presentation. My potatoes, eggs and bacon came delivered on a metal pizza pan with parchment paper. Now it threw me off because I've never seen that and I expected it on a plate. The potatoes had been soaking in grease that didn't appear clean as the potatoes were tiny cut and dark. They also simply tasted of grease. The eggs were scrambled with not much to be desired and the bacon was good. The meal left me underwhelmed and needing to go get an actual meal after we left. Also the utensils were plastic. The experience gave more of food truck vibes than cute little cafe. I had a smoothie which I enjoyed. Although I don't after that I would come back if I did it would only be for a beverage. I was confused because I remember seeing the menu and it mentioned scrum-did-dly-ump-tious so I thought it would be a more southern well seasoned country style and it was more bland fast food style.

I didn't have a reservation, but there were only a handful of people ahead of me, making the wait completely unreasonable. Once seated at the bar, things only got worse. The bartender and several employees came across as if they didn't want to be there. Customer service was practically nonexistent. I ordered chicken wings and they were so disappointing that I didn't even eat a single wing. What made it even more frustrating was that the bartender never once asked how my food was or whether everything was satisfactory. Instead, he repeatedly tried to upsell me on other items and drinks. A restaurant can survive mediocre food if the service is exceptional, but when both are poor, there's no reason to come back. Empty tables, long waits, indifferent staff, and terrible food made this one of the worst dining experiences I've had!

To me that is suitable to split amongst 8 people. The hash was delicious. Tiny roasted veg topped with your style of eggs. I chose sunny side and it was a perfect pour right into the dish. Well, hate to be frank, but our Souffle Pancake was just very disappointing. While the pancake was nice and fluffy, the toppings and presentation wasn't even close to being as good as they used to be. I felt this was new management, with a whole, new style of doing desserts maybe? In any case, we did think the pancake tasted good...but it was just lacking in the creamy topping, as only the top layer had this creamy base. The lower 2 pancakes had no cream on it...and tasted quite bland. Even the strawberry sauce was minimal...so minimal, I went up to ask for more. Also, the decorative toppings, including the strawberry, were just BLAHHH. If you come here expecting the Strawberry Souffle Pancake of the past, you'll be disappointed. So nope...just not pretty enough for Instagramming. Made me wonder if the rest of the desserts have gone down as well?? For drinks, my husband had Cappuccino, and I had this Oohlong Tea.
