We went here for lobster instead of making the hour drive to Puerto Nuevo. We were very disappointed. The lobster was well cooked, but had no seasoning whatsoever. We even had to ask for a side of melted butter. The service was OK. Our waitress kept disappearing, so we had to keep calling upon someone else to help us. The quality of the food has declined considerably. We used to enjoy this restaurant. During this visit, we ordered fish chicharrón, a shrimp cocktail, an octopus taco, and a shrimp taco. The chicharrón was dry and very dark as if it were cooked in old oil. The cocktail was bland and needed a lot of added condiments. There were also several shrimp shells in the cocktail. The shrimp taco was very salty and the breading doubled the shrimp size. The octopus taco lacked seasoning and was also bland. It was overfilled with cabbage. I'm glad we came because it affirmed that Tito's is a way better choice for Mariscos in Tijuana. read more

I love the Pescado Zarandeado is best! All the seafood seems to be fresh. They have a variety of seafood plates and tacos.

My grandma loves coming here to buy all the things to make aguachiles or camarones and pescado frito! I went with her this last time and wow I was impressed of everything! There's plenty or parking and very nice people helping you out with your car. The place itself is huge and even though there's all Seafood the smell isn't that bad. The employees there are very sweet attentive and helpful! One person asks you right away if you need help and help you all the way to the end! This specific time we bought shrimp and 25 pescados to grill and all the condiments! Surprisly even the prices are amazing! Grandma ended up paying a little less than 80 Dollars for everything! I came to this restaurant with my dad for the first time about two weeks ago, and generally never having had a bad experience at a seafood restaurant and a love of Mexican cuisine, I came with the mindset that this place was going to absolutely rock. I found this place when searching for a seafood restaurant in Tijuana on Google Maps or Yelp. My dad ordered fish tacos and ceviche, and I ordered 7 Mares when I saw a picture of it in the menu and knew that I was going to love it. It was basically a tomato soup with fish, crab legs, mussels, clams, shrimp and octopus. Who does not love that? When I smelled my soup and took a bite of the seafood, I instantly said 5 Yelp stars in my mind. It was quite honestly the best seafood soup I ever had. The ceviche that my dad shared with me was top-notch, as I expected after having had ceviche plenty of times before. The ceviche had plenty of diced shrimp with really fresh avocado slices. We were even given a small bag of tostadas. The restaurant was pretty spacious, and there were plenty of tables. We came on a Wednesday, so it was not that crowded, but I imagine that the restaurant would have been packed if it were the weekend. Our server was courteous and kind and brought us our food really quickly. I would definitely want to come back here if I visit Tijuana again. read more

I dont give out 5 stars often but this place continues to deliver!! If your in TJ and want fresh mariscos without the tourist price you have to check this spot out, they literally have there own fish market next door!! Side note. They have the best fried fish I have ever had and it's less then $7 with rice and salad. read more

I haven't tried the food at the restaurant, only because we are always short on time and usually go load up on mariscos when we are about to cross back to US. Fresh and very very good prices! This was our 3 rd time going here I got smart about it and brought my own big cooler. Ask for ice there, they give it to you for free and also cilantro to help with odor. Great place! read more

This restaurant has very fresh seafood because it is also a "pescaderia" a place where you buy all types of seafood. I am very impressed in how much the place has developed. I used to come here when it was a hole in the wall. Now they have expanded the restaurant and the MENU. They are quite popular. This is Mexican TJ, so to get here you will drive through not a so posh scenery and different smells (the whole block sells seafood). The restaurant itself is very clean and excellent customer service. The menus are in Spanish. The seafood is so yummy and fresh. I always order the aguachile, raw shrimp cooked in lime and green chilli (option red chilli too). Don't order this if you don't like spice. My dad ordered the rompecatre (bed braker haha) a mixture of cooked octopus, shrimp, clams and oysters in aguachile sauce. YUM! We usually get pescado sarandeado too (a whole fish kind of grilled...highly recommended). Don't order the fried/breaded calamari, it was a disappointment unfortunately. This place is pretty good. They offer a variety of seafood dishes for a good price. I haven't tried a lot of their food, but their rice and beans were unique. The beans had a strong tasting cheese (in a good way) and their rice had an interesting flavor that pairs well with fish. They also have a fish market connected to the restaurant that is pretty cool. If you are passing through Tijuana be sure to check them out. read more

I found that they have great prices for shrimp, Oysters, Red Snappers and Octopus. They don't carry Tuna but they have a hell of a lot of everything else. Not everything is cheap, but I would say over 75% of what they had was sold at a bargain price. Try out the restaurant that's also part of the fish market next door. Octopus Ceviche was awesome. I'm definitely coming back. To those who are driving in using a GPS: print out a map and mark where the store is. The address alone will not help, as there are multiple Calle Sexta / Calle 6 in Tijuana. read more
