I came to this place about a year ago and had a great experience. Decided to come back and service was great as always. What weirded me out was that 4 tacos a clam chowder and a shrimp cocktail was 75 bucks. 2 of the tacos were 14.00 each that's crazy. The taste of the food for the price is just not there. I might return but definitely not worth the price.

The location has its own parking lot and has AC inside. They take card and cash as well. Stopped in because it was recommended and it did not disappoint due to the flavor as opposed to the quantity lol. They started us off with a small shooter glass of pozole de camarón which was good but not enough for me to order a whole plate. We ordered the chicharrón de pulpo and it was delicious. Tried the cóctel vuelve a la vida and it was ok but the portion was on the smaller side. Tried the tostada Ahi Tuna and it was fresh. Tried the taco soft shell crab and that was good and crunchy. And the main one I wanted to try was the Pulpo Zarandeado which was good. Can't complain, they had plenty of salsas and hot sauces. The restaurant is nice and modern. They had a second floor outdoor patio as well. Restrooms were clean but just one stall per bathroom. Overall lunch was great and I would come back in the future.

This was our first visit to this location of La Corriente Cevicheria + Nais since we have in the past always gone to the location in Centro. The restaurant is located within a plaza that hosts other businesses including another busy restaurant so the parking lot, while convenient, can be filled quickly and parking difficult to find. The restaurant itself is good sized with two floors and the afternoon we visited they were busy but had ample staff on hand to take care of the diners. Today for lunch I ordered the Camarones Gratinados Al Chipotle which comes in a bread bowl (kind of a shrimp chowder). It was scrumptious - the chipotle was amazing and the shrimp was large, fresh and tasty. I think I've found a new favorite dish. We also ordered the Filete de Pescado "Sayulitas". It was a filet of fish wrapped in plantain and served with house salsa and jasmine rice. The fish was also fresh and tasty although I preferred the chipotle shrimp. Drinks were refreshing and I recommend giving the Cucumber Martini a try. We will absolutely be back in the future and may make this one our regular stop because it's located in a somewhat nicer area than Centro.

Delicious spot for seafood. It's in one of the nicer suburb areas in TJ. Definitely worth trying if you're staying for a few days.

Ordered a little of everything .

This place is soooo good ! Everything on the menu is worth a try. I love the aguachiles, clam chowder shrimp, octopus. Their salsas are delicious! The drinks are

This place is my fav restaurant in TJ! We shared the pulpo y papas and it was by far the best pulpo I've ever had. It's cooked perfectly, very meaty, not chewy at all!! The rice underneath was also absolutely amazing - not sure what made it so different but it was some of the best rice I've ever had (and I'm asian!!!). We also ordered the cucumber water which was shockingly delicious (not your average). Our waiter, Ysidro was super attentive and very helpful! He did a great job despite my broken Spanish!! The overall vibe is really chic compared to other places in TJ and the pricing is decent (still less than US). After this meal I literally couldn't stop smiling. I can't wait to eat this exact meal again and again. It's RIDICULOUSLY good.

Fantastic ceviche and fish. Great selection of hot sauce. Amazing service. Incredible prices. === FOOD === 5/5 Wow. The ceviche tostada was amazing. The ceviche was fresh and perfectly seasoned with lemon and salt. The octopus tacos were fantastic. The octopus was perfectly cooked and had great texture. Free tostadas and breads are served with lots of delicious hot sauces. The selection and variety of sauces is impressive, ranging from mild to habanero. The sauces are a great addition to any entree and added lots of delicious flavor to the ceviche tostada and octopus taco. The melon water tasted sweet, refreshing, healthy, and tropical. === SERVICE === 5/5 Fantastic service. Waiters are all very well dressed with clean and professional uniforms. Servers are friendly, courteous, and fast. There are always servers watching to make sure your drinks are filled or if you need anything. Service makes you feel like you're at a high-end place. They treat you like royalty. === INTERIOR === 5/5 Dining areas upstairs and downstairs. Everything is very clean and modern. Outdoor seating available on the second floor. Decorations inside give the restaurant an up-scale and elegant feel. Inside was loud, busy, and packed with people during lunch time on a weekday. Great place for date, work lunch/dinner, or to bring family.

This place is AMAZING!!! My mouth waters everytime i think about the red snapper tostada. The service was GREAT. The waiter took the time to explain everything to us and answer all of our questions and gave great recommendations. We ordered the aguachiles, red snapper tostada, marlin tacos in molcajete, soft crab shell taco, oysters rockfeller and clams. I also had the pepino martini. Everything was SO GOOD! The flavors are unmatched. Can't wait to go back

This is my favorite restaurant in TJ. I love coming here and getting seafood. I have tried their PAI PAI oysters, which I loved because they are smaller ones and they came with a delicious vinegar/onion mix. I also tried the "Kalifornia" taco, the crab taco, and marlin tacos and no complaints about any of them. They all had their own unique flavors and were done just right. Their clam chowder is also delightful; packed with a lot of flavors and spices. I recommend you try this place when you cross the border. Perfecto!

    Patio - beautiful deck!

I can't tell how much you'll love this place! This food is simply fantastic! The fish was fresh and tasted amazing. The service is top-notch and formal, the drinks were tasty and cold too! Normally you can smoke on the patio (I don't, but it is an option) so smokers are welcome here. I decor is modern and sophisticated, sporting an elegant dining area on the top floor. I enjoy coming here every time!

    Pulpo

Really, really good and fresh. The pulpo was seared just right. Would do it again and again.

The restaurant is a large space with both indoor and outdoor seating, and the atmosphere is really cute and inviting. The service was excellent. Our waiter was attentive and checked on us throughout the meal. He even had a portable charger available for my phone, which was very convenient. What we ordered: *Aguachile Reina: This was delicious and had a little kick to it. If you're sensitive to spice, this might not be the best choice, but for those who enjoy a little spice, it's a great option. *Rock Shrimp: Absolutely phenomenal. This was probably one of my favorites of the night. The flavors were amazing, and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. *Tuna Tartare: Another delicious dish. The portion size was generous, and they bring out chips to enjoy with it. We also enjoyed tequila on the rocks. They have a large liquor and cocktail menu. The food came out in less than 10 minutes, and everything tasted fresh. This is definitely a spot I'd recommend checking out when you're in the area. It's conveniently located just across the border, making it an easy stop for great food, good service, and a fun atmosphere.

They never made me feel rushed and were incredibly kind the entire time. The hamachi tostada was absolutely delicious, definitely the highlight of my meal. The shrimp taco was good, but it didn't stand out quite as much as the tostada. Even with a bit of a language barrier, every server and staff member was so friendly, patient, and welcoming. The service really made the experience. I'd definitely come back the next time I'm in Tijuana.

The magnet to…read moreget here, was that I recently discovered they were the only restaurant that was advertising Puerto Nuevo lobster. So I got there on my first evening, and that's what I ordered. It took about 40 minutes to get to the table, but once it arrived, it was beautifully presented cooked optimally. The portion seemed a little smaller than I expected (came in only one 600 gm size). The lobster that was split in half sat on a moist bed of Spanish rice, came with refried beans and freshly grilled vegetables. See my pictures. The freshly made thin tortillas were superb, but one had to be careful or they would dry soon. After you finish, they give you an apperetiv, in a small cylindrical crystal glass. Basically, think of it like Kahlúa with milk, vanilla and ice. It was fantastic. The chips and salsas that preluded the main order were also superb. It is rarely and not always, that I go back to the same restaurant when I'm on a short trip. On top of that the next day? Yes, here it had to be the exception. So this second time, I was here to try the fish soup (exceptional) and the grilled loin of red snapper. I've heard of a pork loin, a beef loin, but this was a first. The entree is a large portion. A thick, succulent, colorful, well charred and grilled portion of seafood, with firm texture and spicy taste. Service here was high class, on both occasions. After a full day of serious self-care (doctor appointments, errands, and elite-level snack…read moreshopping), we arrived at El Puerto in Tijuana in the exact condition one should: hungry and slightly dramatic. First things first--the aguas frescas understood the assignment. Guava and cucumber were icy, fresh, and basically a reset button for the soul. My niece wanted something a little stronger - enter the fresa-kiwi mojito, which was refreshing enough to make her forget she had responsibilities earlier that day. The food? A seafood symposium: * My niece went with the filet al chipotle--tender, flavorful, and clearly the overachiever at the table. * My sister chose the tostada de pulpo, which was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and proof that octopus can, in fact, be a love language. * I handled a dozen oysters like a professional (and by professional, I mean zero regrets). * And my friend--who couldn't chew--casually asked if they could make breakfast... and they did. Enter: huevos rancheros, served without judgment and with full hospitality points. El Puerto is the kind of place where everyone gets exactly what they need--even if it's oysters, octopus, or breakfast at lunch. Great drinks, great food, and staff that actually listens. We came in tired, we left happy, hydrated, and slightly obsessed. Would absolutely return--preferably after more "self-care."
