Red snapper tostada and a cielo rojo drink
    Wendy A.

I love this place! You know the food is going to be good when the chips and salsa, they give you while you wait your food, is delicious!! I love to come here on a Friday after work, get a tostada, a beer and a basket of chips! I've been coming here for years, beats me why I never reviewed it. They have two other locations in the city, but for me this one and the one in downtown are more convenient, but both with the same amazing service and flavors! The waiting stuff is so so helpful and nice!! Always a great experience with yummy food! The drinks are also delicious, hello Mezcal!!

This was a nice little place with excellent food. If you life seafood and ceviches, this is your place. Everything was fresh. They brought us out a little cup of hot soup to start (free), along with assorted salsa dips and chips. They also brought 4 different hot sauce bottles. Service is quick, nice waiters. Delicious!

After a 4th visit, this Pulpo (octopus) dish is worth the drive!

The best seafood restaurant in TJ. Service was friendly warm and the food was out of this world delicious! We tried their house famous Red Snapper and Ahi Tuna Tostada. Along with their famous Grilled Pulpo Dish. This stuff will change your life!

This was one of my best lunch meals ever. We ordered the red snapper tostada and that was delicious one of my favorite tacos ever and then we followed that with the California Taco which is shrimp and Chile but the chili is not hot and spicy it's just flavorful with enough Heat and then we ordered the octopus and it was fried and in bite sizes and it was a perfect ending to a trio of tacos combination. We ended the meal with flan and that was delicious with a shot of mango drink. I also ordered a cucumber drink which was very refreshing. I would love to come back here and experience their food. If you're reading this post and thinking of trying this restaurant I suggest that you go ahead and do it. You would not be disappointed.

If you want to try some of the best ceviche you will ever have you got to come to this spot in Tijuana. They have two different locations and tried their centro location. Their best seller is their red snapper ceviche tostada and oh my I found out after the first bite I took out of that red snapper tostada why it's their number one best seller off their extensive menu. The way the red snapper ceviche is made keeps you craving for some more. One or two red snappers tostadas won't be enough they will becoming addicting and craving for some more of them. I also tried their grilled pulpo which is as very delicious as well!!!

The prices listed on their menu are much less than what they will charge you on your bill. Very deceptive business practice.

The restaurant is a large space with both indoor and outdoor seating, and the atmosphere is really cute and inviting. The service was excellent. Our waiter was attentive and checked on us throughout the meal. He even had a portable charger available for my phone, which was very convenient. What we ordered: *Aguachile Reina: This was delicious and had a little kick to it. If you're sensitive to spice, this might not be the best choice, but for those who enjoy a little spice, it's a great option. *Rock Shrimp: Absolutely phenomenal. This was probably one of my favorites of the night. The flavors were amazing, and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. *Tuna Tartare: Another delicious dish. The portion size was generous, and they bring out chips to enjoy with it. We also enjoyed tequila on the rocks. They have a large liquor and cocktail menu. The food came out in less than 10 minutes, and everything tasted fresh. This is definitely a spot I'd recommend checking out when you're in the area. It's conveniently located just across the border, making it an easy stop for great food, good service, and a fun atmosphere.

They never made me feel rushed and were incredibly kind the entire time. The hamachi tostada was absolutely delicious, definitely the highlight of my meal. The shrimp taco was good, but it didn't stand out quite as much as the tostada. Even with a bit of a language barrier, every server and staff member was so friendly, patient, and welcoming. The service really made the experience. I'd definitely come back the next time I'm in Tijuana.

Villa Marina, has been on my Tijuana radar and I finally was able to make it happen. The magnet to…read moreget here, was that I recently discovered they were the only restaurant that was advertising Puerto Nuevo lobster. So I got there on my first evening, and that's what I ordered. It took about 40 minutes to get to the table, but once it arrived, it was beautifully presented cooked optimally. The portion seemed a little smaller than I expected (came in only one 600 gm size). The lobster that was split in half sat on a moist bed of Spanish rice, came with refried beans and freshly grilled vegetables. See my pictures. The freshly made thin tortillas were superb, but one had to be careful or they would dry soon. After you finish, they give you an apperetiv, in a small cylindrical crystal glass. Basically, think of it like Kahlúa with milk, vanilla and ice. It was fantastic. The chips and salsas that preluded the main order were also superb. It is rarely and not always, that I go back to the same restaurant when I'm on a short trip. On top of that the next day? Yes, here it had to be the exception. So this second time, I was here to try the fish soup (exceptional) and the grilled loin of red snapper. I've heard of a pork loin, a beef loin, but this was a first. The entree is a large portion. A thick, succulent, colorful, well charred and grilled portion of seafood, with firm texture and spicy taste. Service here was high class, on both occasions. Two exceptional and hard to forget dining visits, in Tijuana. Wow.
