We came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary and were warmly greeted upon arrival. Champagne…read morewas served as soon as we were seated, and we were also treated to a complimentary baba ghanoush, which was excellent. We started with the bone marrow appetizer, and it was truly outstanding -- incredibly balanced, rich without being overwhelming, and so good we couldn't stop talking about it. We ordered the steak and eggs. The crunchy brioche, earthy mushroom purée, and beautifully sliced steak came together perfectly, and the saltiness of the caviar tied everything together in a really thoughtful way. The picanha was another standout! incredibly tender and full of flavor. We paired it with the broccolini and wagyu fat potatoes, both of which were absolutely delicious. To finish, we shared the ube cheesecake empanada. We were a bit hesitant at first, but it turned out to be the perfect ending to an already fantastic meal. The cocktails throughout the night were also excellent. We enjoyed the restaurant so much that we brought friends back later the same week. That visit was just as impressive -- we ordered the tomahawk steak, garden salad, bone marrow (again!), steak and eggs, truffle fries, broccolini, carrots, and tried all of the desserts. Once again, everything was delicious across the board. The only area for improvement would be the service. Everyone was kind and attentive, but at times too quick to clear plates and not proactive enough with the next course. At a restaurant of this caliber, I'd expect the dessert menu to be offered immediately after plates are cleared, rather than needing to track down a server. Overall, the food is exceptional, and we'll absolutely be back.

Mashed potatoes was delicious, I am happy that I've ordered. Picanha did not taste picanha at all, but it was ok. Fries, nothing special. Burger was less than okay, first bite I thought it was tasty, but second and third was too greasy for me. Drinks were different and delicious. Rum punch and ananas. Wow!!!

We came with the family during the first half of the day and had a wonderful experience. The restaurant specializes in Uzbek and Russian cuisine and is located in a beautiful spot by the lake. There is plenty of parking, and one of the highlights is the outdoor terrace overlooking the water. The view is peaceful and makes for a very relaxing meal. I also loved the entrance design. There's a large decorative mirror surrounded by flowers, and the restaurant's logo is reflected in it. It's a thoughtful detail that immediately creates a welcoming atmosphere and makes a great photo spot. The restaurant was clean, the staff was polite, and service was fast. Our food arrived surprisingly quickly. I ordered a cappuccino, two khachapuri, and accidentally ordered Kharcho soup when I actually meant to order Solyanka. Thankfully, the Kharcho turned out to be delicious, so no regrets! My husband ordered a steak, while the kids were happy with chicken nuggets and fries from the kids' menu. For dessert, I finally got to try the Pavlova that I had seen on their Instagram page, and it did not disappoint. I've also heard that they host live entertainment and performances on weekends, which makes me want to come back and experience the restaurant in the evening. Overall, we left very satisfied and had a lovely family lunch. Thank you, Aida, for welcoming us so warmly. This review is a little overdue, but the visit was memorable and definitely worth sharing.

Although interesting for a Russian menu- which I have not had in years. The ambiance is super luxurious, like a nightclub. There is a long bar area with multiple colored lights. Our table for 6 had chairs & a couch with pillows. Like a Lounge. On the right side of the bar was a DJ spinning music. There is an outdoor patio on the lake as well. I did get up & dance for a bit- but there wasn't much room for the dance floor. I would consider going back for lunch when it's quiet & order off their menu. I did get the shrimp kabob & hubby got lamb kabob. Both very good. Obviously, too full for dessert.

Teatro has gone through many changes over the years and although the service remains excellent, my latest food experience was disappointing. We tried the smoked Caesar salad which comes in a glass bowl complete with vapors. It was an interesting effect, but I'm not sure it really added that much to the flavor of the salad, dramatic as it was. The smoke was so pungent, however, that it was a bit distracting later on long after that course had cleared. I tried the porcetta which seemed really interesting, but the serving I had was so encased in fat that there was actually very little of the pork that was edible. It was tasty, but it left a gooey, fatty mess on my plate and was really not that appetizing. Finally, we had the chocolate cookie sandwich for dessert. Also underwhelming. I think it's laudable that the restaurant tries new items, but this trio was not up to snuff. I preferred the previous Italian oriented theme from last season. Here's to hoping Teatro will innovate some more and come up with some better combinations.

I started with the smoked Caesar salad, and WOW. The presentation alone deserves its own round of applause. There is a nice presentation when it's brought to the table, and the flavor matches the drama, crisp, fresh, and perfectly dressed without being heavy. Easily one of the best Caesars I've had in Miami. My entree was the grilled octopus, and it was cooked perfectly. Tender (no rubbery chew!), beautifully charred, and paired with flavors that complemented it instead of overpowering it. You can tell the kitchen cares about balance and technique. The ambiance inside Teatro feels elegant and warm, exactly what you want before a show. And the service? Fantastic. The staff was attentive without rushing us, If you want a pre-show dinner that actually feels special, Teatro at the Arsht Center is the move. Incredible food, beautiful presentation, and an overall experience that sets the tone for the night. Highly recommend!

Tip: pastas are small. Almost half portions. We ordered a few and split them family style (ordered 3 for 6 people and had to order more). Beef Wellington - - while I thought it was weird to order, SO glad we did. It was so tender and cooked perfect. They also cut it for you so you don't need to worry about it! Ambiance is amazing but you NEED reservations. Also need to make sure you are either on time or if you are at the bar next door, you check in if you are running behind.

The menu consists of well known dishes but there are no surprises - everything is cooked well and tasty but not memorable. The best dish is the Ceasar's salad which is prepared table side, using raw eggs (!) and is a must-order simply for the show. Everything seemed to order it. The crab cakes were very good - crispy crust and big chunks of crab with a spicy mayo on the side - worth it. Lumache Alla Vodka was also good, with the pasta cooked just right and a nice spicy kick to the sauce. The almonds on the European Sea Bass made the fish - toasted and slightly caramelized paired with a very good sea bass. Get it if you are in the mood. The oysters Rockefeller are simply ok but not worth reordering. The chocolate layer cake was also very good but not extraordinary and typically of any good pastry shop's version. Finally the service is what you would expect of a Michelin Star, which was precise and well executed although our waiter has a pretty bland personality compared to the guy serving the table next to us.

Miami has so many restaurants and bars but lacks of more wine bar offerings…read more As a wine enthusiast myself, I'm always down to try new wine places. Ruka Winewood has been on my radar for a while and I recently found out they have happy hours between 6-9pm, so what a better opportunity to give it a try. For a Wednesday night, they had a fair number of customers. I sampled their happy hour red blend pour. It was mid body, somewhat complex but low on tannins which allowed for easy and smooth drinking. The fruit content was moderate. It was the perfect wine for an early night, to sip and hang out with friends. I pretty much enjoyed the two glasses I had. Service was not the best to be honest. During the 1 hour I was there, no one checked on me. No one asked me if I wanted more wine, water or another pizza, etc. I was hopping to have their charcuterie board paired with wine, but they had no charcuterie. I asked for the pizza options and hey only had one out of the 3 options on the menu, only the cheese pizza. The pizza is not the best looking pizza, but it tasted delicious. The cheese was sort of smokey, that was delish. I would have that pizza again. Summarizing, I'm coming back pretty soon for their red wine, at $5/glass, you can't beat that up, specially when it is such high quality. I hope they have the charcuterie next time.
