I would've never seen this restaurant unless our friends invited us, because it's not in the typical Miami restaurant areas. Loved the Spanish decor and homey feel, with it's crooks and crannies. The service was excellent and the food delicious. We had the gazpacho soup which was flavorful and creamy. The zucchini chips were also very good. We had such an amazing experience here. Everything we ordered was honestly delicious. We started with the croquetas (jamón, goat cheese, and fish) and they were all perfect -- crispy outside, super creamy inside. Even the little breads they bring out were so good. The seafood paella was one of the best we've ever had -- full of flavor and loaded with seafood. We also got the ribeye, which was cooked perfectly and came with these incredible grilled veggies that we couldn't stop eating. The chorizo, the morcilla, the apps... literally nothing disappointed. Also: do yourself a favor and get the white sangria. So good. Huge shout-out to Chef Humberto because you can tell he puts so much care into everything. And our servers Jorge and Cesar were amazing -- super attentive, friendly, and made the whole night even better. We're already talking about coming back. I have been wanting to try this spot because of good recommendations from foodie friends a while ago... total disappointment! First a bunch of plates were "sold out".. at 1 pm on a Sunday? You just opened! No bacallao except their most expensive "in salt".. next I wanted one of my all time favorites, rabbit.. not ready yet! Ordered morcilla de Burgos ( a specialty with rice inside) No rice just plain morcilla with red peppers, finally ordered the octopus (1 tentacle) $38 when it was listed as an appetizer at $18... it was served last and cold.. my wife ordered Fabada and. instead of the Asturian large Faba beans they were plain white beans with no morcilla and dubious ham.. bogus! The best dish was my wife's Garbanzos..and decent croquettes. This place has NO AUTHENTICITY! And lots of hocus pocus.. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY! I don't mind paying when food authentic and good but even the waiter didn't care much when I told him octopus was cold.. If you love authentic food from Spain.. stay far from this farce! read more

My boyfriend and I have been eyeballing this place for a few months. We decided to give it a shot on a weeknight and were pleasantly surprised. Inside it's divided by a center hallway that splits the restaurant in half. It makes the restaurant feel cozy, not tight. We believe the food was reasonably priced. The restaurant was seafood heavy, which we were not expecting. We ordered three different dishes with ibérico ham. Croquetas, an ibérico ham and manchego cheese charcuterie, and a broken egg dish. The broken egg dish consists of three over-easy eggs over potatoes and with ibérico ham. Overall, the food was delightful, the service was excellent, and I would recommend it to others to try it. Definitely one of the top 3 Spanish restaurants in Miami! We only had three starters - croquetas, tabla de jamón ibérico y manchego, and the octopus (pulpo a la plancha) and everything was exquisite! The jamón just melts in your mouth, the pulpo was perfectly done, and the croquetas were 100% legit. Server was very attentive and gave good recommendations. Finally a Spanish restaurant with real traditional and great quality food. Wow! I felt as if I was in Spain. We were a party of 7 and every single one of us had nothing but amazing complements. The service is A+, but the food was simply amazing. Highly recommend the seafood paella, gambas al ajillo, croquetas de jamón, eggplant chips, among other amazing and fantastic dishes like Lubina a la sal, silky and delicate. A small place, with a very muted appearance from the street. So much so that our Uber driver passed it by the first time. Our group of 8 took up about half the seats in the main dining room. We were greeted immediately and offered the wine list for selection. With the advice of the owner we made a selection of red and a white as well. Then we made our way through the tapas menu. Everything that came out was delicious, with an impressive spectrum of flavors. After our first round, we made some more selections for repeats. Again, everything was amazing. For dessert we chose 4 of the offerings and again passed them around the table. There wasn't a single dish that didn't hold its own. Highly recommend, and absolutely take the advice of the server. It was our fault for not looking at the bill at the time but it cannot be that one goes out to a restaurant that is supposed to be good but the lack of seriousness and honesty ends up being the lowest there can be in a restaurant, it cannot be that They steal it like that from one and if anyone has a doubt, I have the invoice and they were so stupid that the bottles of wine they gave us were not even the ones we really drank!! The staff ability to hold reservations and their treatment to repeated customers who pay cash (and tip well!) leaves much to be desired. Today, 4/23/2021, I called the restaurant at 11:50 am and reserved a specific table for 6:00 pm of the same day. They confirmed the reservation for said table. Upon arriving at the restaurant at 6:00 pm, the table I reserved 5 hours and 10 minutes earlier was occupied. One staff, as opposed to be apologetic for the situation, nonchalantly shook in his hand in direction to another table and told us to sit there, adding that he could not ask the other people who were occupying the table I reserved several hours earlier to change tables. This showed poor customer service skills and sensitivity to the customer. Their excuse was that the individuals occupying the table I had reserved had been there since 11ish am that morning. This is an invalid reason or excuse that seems to show either or both of the following: (1) Staff cannot be trusted to hold your reservations, even when you make a reservation five hours earlier and the reservation is confirmed by them. They are not trustworthy. (2) Staff does not treat all customers equally and gives preferential treatment to certain clients. It is worth noting in the past I have not been able to sit in the table of my preference because either the table was already reserved, or it was occupied. I have understood this and sat in a different table. However, when you reserved a table 5 hours and 10 minutes earlier and the staff does not respect your reservation but makes you respect others, you are not being treated equally. Do not come here. There is no guarantee they will hold your reservation or treat you equally to other customers. read more
