Restless Coffee Co saved our Galentine's Day! My gal pals and I had an evening full of activities but due to a conflict, we had to change our plans. Immediately, a friend recommended the new Restless Coffee Co because of their late hours, beautiful ambience, and of course...their coffee and rolled ice cream! Check out how they make it! We had a superb time! While it was a busy Valentine's Day evening with a line out the door, we were able to quickly aquire a large group table for us, a table large enough for us to knit, paint, and have a great time of fellowship! The service was good - staff were kind and inviting. However, the trash was overflowing and should have been monitored periodically with such a busy day. I was excited to give this place a try but was disappointed. Placed an online order for coffees and a BLT sandwich but had to leave with my coffees and had to ask for a refund for my sandwich. Order was placed 12:34, estimated to be ready by 12:45, I arrive at 12:50 and asked for a refund at 1:05. I understand it's not a fast food joint but if you're not able to meet the time your own system gave me, I would have appreciated some communication and customer care and service. Instead, I had to ask someone to check on my order at which point I was told it was just getting started so I chose to ask for a refund instead of wait even longer. It seemed that they had 3-4 people up front and only one in the kitchen so the drinks came out fast while the food was on the slower side. If you have time to stay and linger, it shouldn't be an issue. But I'd be mindful if you're trying to get in and out. read more

This place makes good coffee. I come here a lot and often try their specials! The ambiance of the cafe is relaxing and aesthetically pleasing. There are some things that I believe they can improve on- 1. Customer service: Baristas often don't greet customers when entering, which isn't necessarily something that offends me, but may be distasteful to other customers who notice. 2. Time management: Over my many visits to this cafe I have noticed, regardless of how busy they are, that my coffee takes a WHILE to be made. Sometimes even 10+ minutes! Baristas often get distracted, either talking to each other or other customers that they know, and it significantly slows down the time it takes them to make the drinks. The problem is NOT the side conversations- it's that the conversations interfere with their work. 3. Their drink specials are great! However, I wish they were more clear about what the specials are. For example, I could put together what the Reese's Cup cold brew was, but the Luke Skywalker latte and Darth Vader cold brew don't have any description underneath them on their menu, so I had to ask the barista to explain them. I understand that the specials are described on their online ordering website, but they should be accessible elsewhere. They weren't even described on their social media pages. read more

This place has spoiled all other avocado toast's for me. They have the best I've ever had. Slices of avocado not just mushed and the bread they use is rosemary. I sometimes go out of my way to go get this. It's so big it's breakfast and lunch for me. read more

Came to have breakfast with my daughter. Very nice inside! Somewhat small for how many people visit at a time. They had 3 ladies working and they were Working hard and so friendly! The place is very clean and welcoming. The bathrooms are very clean and pretty. I had the avocado toast, which for $11 was worth it. Everything was fresh and clean. The bread had a buttery taste. My daughter wanted a chocolate muffin which she ate it all lol and we ordered sugar toast. Which was yummy ! I ordered a mint chocolate matcha which we both enjoyed ! This is a very nice little stop for coffee or to hang out and chat over some coffee. We have gotten lattes and iced coffee from here and it is always better than Starbucks, cheaper too! The food is also very good, my go to is the southwest breakfast sandwich with the unique flavors. The service is always great and depending how busy they are depends on the speed. read more

Atmosphere was awesome! I loved all the plants and cool design on the wall. Staff was very welcoming and nice to talk to. They have a large menu to choose from. With all different coffees, refreshers, and food items to choose from. I got the southwestern breakfast sandwich with an iced latte. Everything was delicious. I love this cafe so much! Not only do they make the best matcha ever (imo) but the staff here is so pleasant. I'm not sure if they're super attentive and know my order + name because they care about their customers or if it's because I go so often Lol but either way I'm so happy every time I walk through their doors. This is a stand-alone building, apart from a unique shopping plaza. Plenty of parking. They have a few tables outside, which is nice. Inside was clean and simple. The menu was varied. I enjoyed a London Fog and açaí bowl (açaí base and you pick what else you want). Service was friendly and prompt. read more

Good food, good vibes! This coffee shop/cafe is nicely decorated, has lots of seating, and great food and drinks! I ordered the Southwestern Breakfast Sandwich and an Iced Lavender Matcha Latte. The sandwich was so good, great balance of flavors with amazing bread (crispy on outside and soft on the inside). The lavender matcha latte was good as well, I would prefer a slightly stronger matcha flavor, but overall it was good. Service was great as well! read more

A friend said she'd had a wonderful salad here and wanted to go back do we met for lunch at this new coffee shop in York. The place is inviting and clean. We sawed someone eating a beautiful dish and asked what it was. It was so lovely that we both ended up getting the Açaí bowl which had frozen açaí puree ( it is like sherbet) topped with granola and any or all of these: blueberries, strawberries, bananas, coconut, chia seeds and a honey drizzle. Looks beautiful, tastes even better! I ordered a decaf coffee but wasn't happy with it. It tasted burned. I knew adding cream or milk wouldn't fix that so they made a latte for me- the gal said it was made with espresso rather than the decaf coffee and it was delish! There are several sandwich selections for breakfast and lunch and a few salad selections as well. The gal with the açaí bowl told us which items she'd had and how good they were. Looking forward to my next visit to this cafe. The menu has lots of things I'm looking forward to trying! Service was good, people are nice! Pleasant addition to York. read more

Very poor service for a simple cup of coffee. What really irked was the apparent indifference of the staff to a line 4 people waiting to be served, one a mother with a babe in her arms. It seemed to be more important that they laughed and talked among themselves than to address their customers. I love going here. I think it's amazing coffee and they have great food. The prices are local coffee house prices and the staff is wonderful. The only thing that is a pain point is the ordering process I think it's just a little too slow and could use some improvement. Maybe a designated person only on the register? I understand that might be hard, but maybe have that done at high times of traffic like in the morning. I wanted to stop by and support you guys and I only had about 25 minutes and I just could not wait 15 minutes order for coffee let alone wait another 10 for it to be done contemplated order ahead while waiting in line but didn't want to over burden the staff. read more

Unfathomably vibey coffee shop in York, PA. Utterly scrumptious cortados and cappuccinos. The cinnamon bun cappuccino will transport you to a time before the hippies took over this great country of ours, and the marshmallow cortado tastes as though it ought to be on the list of schedule 1 drugs. The grilled cheese tastes very similar to cheese that has been grilled. My cousin is visiting from Florida, and we decided to go here for coffee and convo. Plenty of parking. We were greeted by 3 lovely ladies as we entered. I liked the decor and place is neat and clean. Polite staff. They explained different drinks (lots to choose from and create). We decided on vanilla shaken expresso, one with pumpkin spice cold foam and one with vanilla cold foam over ice. Delicious. We sat in the coach area, relaxed and caught up. Definitely want to go back and enjoy a meal and try a different . read more

First time eating here. Went for brunch/lunch time eats and coffee. Got the eggnog, shaken espresso and a chicken. Chipotle melt. Both were delicious and I would happily go back to this place. They have seating for roughly max 25 people and a small coffee bar area that seats 3-4 people if you want to sit and enjoy your coffee. Staff were friendly and smiling the entire time. Fantastic new coffee shop...bright, calm and clean atmosphere. I have tried the Southwest breakfast sandwich, Chocolate Macaroon Latte and the Smore's latte. My little one enjoyed a fruit smoothie. I have been to Restless three times and each time the food has been great but the service has been extremely poor. The first time I was ignored for about five minutes as I waited to purchase a gift card. The staff were in the corner chatting and when I made eye contact with one of the baristas she walked right past me and told her colleagues she was going on a break. The rest continued to talk in the corner so I finally just walked away without the gift card. The next time I ordered two drinks. One was made quickly. The other was dropped by a barista but then never remade. I went back to ask about the second drink about 15 minutes after we had ordered and they said they forgot to re-make it. However, rather than make it next, they continued to make other drinks for about 10 minutes. At that point it had been 25 minutes since we had received the first drink and we were ready to go. There were no apologies and they seemed annoyed that they had to re-make a drink that they dropped and we never received. A month later I went in and the staff were equally rude. One barista looked at me and walked way without offering to take my order. The next barista took my order but seemed annoyed. The staff members appeared to be high school or college aged kids so I know they are learning professionalism but having this happen three times makes me think that the staff need to be reminded that each customer, regardless of background, needs to be treated with kindness and respect. read more
