This is a fine IHOP. It's situated near a hotel. A very nice hostess greeted us, sat us, took our order, and possibly cooked everything as well. As far as I could tell, there was only one person working that night. It's a shame to see places so understaffed, but props for that hard-working woman to hang in there. food was good. It has been a long time since I have been there. I would say at least five years, maybe more) If I remember correctly it was a shell of its formal self. Service seemed rushed and the food was meh at best. the one that was reasonably close to us ( It was still a bit of a hike though) was not really worth the money we had paid. Probably will not be a patron of theirs anymore. This is sad of course, because a while ago their establishment was known for pretty good to great food and service. Pretty sure we will not be frequenting their establishments anymore. More care when preparing the food and maybe better ingredients could in fact go a long way towards solving most of these problems. I don't know what happened at ihop this morning... but it was not it. We ordered through door dash. My husbands sirloin tip with eggs was super wet in the bottom. He felt sick with the steak later on. Mine was the steak omelette with toast & butter. The butter was not given... and let me finish this with saying there was a black hair on top of the omelette. The omelette was mushy, no taste at all. I took about two bites to taste it and done. No thank you. Will not be ordering or eating here again. read more

IHOPPY hour is great (whole entrees for $6 and smaller ones for $3.50 from 2pm-10pm on weekdays)! I took full advantage of it and ate way more than my fill with leftovers for home for less than $10. I got the burger with onion rings and a stack of candied bacon pancakes. Both were tasty. Our server was really nice but had a couple missteps. He accidentally forgot one of our orders and touched my onion rings when he handed me the plate but he was 100% trying his best. I think he was new because the manager was following him the whole time. He got the rest of our food right though! We came in at about 6pm and the place was empty. Lots of seating inside. It filled up around 8pm though. The atmosphere was alright. The ceiling was leaking on my friend the whole time. Our food didn't take too long to come out and they brought it all out at once (except the food they forgot). Temperature and taste were good. Overall, okay experience. please, please, please!!!!!! do not order the bananas foster pancakes for delivery!!!!! they have a nasty attitude when you request enough sauce to cover the pancakes. they give you four regular style pancakes and less than 2oz of sauce. i called and ask if i could pay for more sauce and was immediately told " that is the way our sauce is portioned out " i asked to pay for extra and was given an attitude and when i got my order finally i had just one extra sauce that was less than original 2oz container that came with the meal. its irritating because it's like first of all i dont care if 2oz is the standard, thats hardly enough to enjoy on one pancake... let alone 4!!!! never ever order that for delivery i promise you will be furious. save yourself time and get it to dine in only. and if you think asking a manager will help you, wrong they get on the phone and pretend that what you're asking for is so reasonable and no big deal (because it isn't) and you get the order and you're still isn't there. read more

I'm disappointed that the place isn't that old, but someone needs to manage the place and whip it back into shape. 90% of the ketchup bottles on the tables were empty And the floors were covered with dropped food. The blinds looked like someone smeared butter on them. And the window sills were filthy. Please clean the place up so it can stay open! read more

Placed an online order came to pick up order about 7 staff members past never asked us standing a the pickup counter and never asked could they help us. Then finally after about ten minutes a waitress came and asked was someone helping us. Although I really appreciate her coming from the back to assist us there need to be better customers service. 7 staff members should not have past us before we were acknowledged this is poor service terrible. I've been to an embarrassingly high amount of ihops around the country as it's my favorite comfort food. This iHop is easily the worst I've ever been to. Terrible service, waiting 15 minutes to be seated when there's servers talking, on their phones, and hanging out, having to ask several times for refills, all while the place wasn't busy. The place itself is filthy. I watched a server drop silverware onto the ground then place it onto a table for the next customer to come in and use. The floors were very dirty as well as the tables and don't get me started with the bathrooms. The food itself itself was cold and not worth the wait. Visit this location today, for a quick bite- Order the Hotcakes with chicken- The bring 1 hotcake with 4 chicken strips( suppose to be 3 hotcakes with meal. Also ordered the 5 chicken strips with fries- Received 4 chicken strips and a 6 small French fries. Clean location, waiter pretty cook. Waited for a table, was told 30 minutes we left after an hour and 30 minutes. There were many other people waiting for tables and no one was seated While we were there. It's a damn shame when a chain decides that GrubHub and call in orders take priority over people who are actually there. I have been trying to give IHOP and this poorly managed location on Pauline Drive chances, they just seem to perform even more poorly then they had the last time I was there. If I could rate them in negative numbers, it would be about a -27. It probably doesn't matter to them because they don't seem to give a damn about customer service. read more

My mother and sister and I went to this restaurant around 1 pm. 2 of us wanted to try the turkey dinner. The turkey was real, not a roll or lunch meat. The stuffing was mushy and bland. The green beans were fresh, not from a can, good consistency. Could have used a little seasoning. The mashed potatoes tasted like the ones made from a box of potato flakes. Small serving. Berry sauce was watery and about a tablespoon. My Moms side salad was lettuce and a few diced canned tomatoes. No onion, no croutons, and only 2 dressing to choose from. Worst part is the gravy was like colored water. Coffee good. No dinner rolls offered. My sister enjoyed her beef tips, eggs and pancakes. Server was nice. They were mopping the floors close to us. I've eaten here a lot. Usually it's pretty good. When I ordered carryout, both times they forgot items. When I dine in I've had great service and less than great service. The food is always great. Sometimes it just takes a little long to get to you and the servers seem lost. Considering it is an IHOP, it's pretty clean in there. That country fried steak and eggs keeps me coming back. It took 15 minutes before my wife got up and asked a server why we weren't being helped, which is especially annoying as another couple was seated and helped right away (after we waited the 15 minutes). we asked for silverware that never came so we had to take some from another table. Our food came out 30 minutes later (20 minutes after the previously mentioned Group mind you) and was cold. on top of that they forgot part of the order (from a grand total of 5 items). an excuse was provided by the manager that I believe was a total lie. at the end of the meal we were offered no discount, and they charged us for MORE than was asked for. Since this is the only Ihop in the area, I have been here about 4 times. What can I say, I'm a slow learner. The good: the pancakes are fluffy and I like the syrup variety as much as I did when I was a kid. The bad: So much...... Dirty entryway, sticky tables, dirty utensils, slow, seriously, so slow. Plan on being there over an hour and getting cold food every time. The servers are very apologetic but never improve so are they really sorry? You have to go searching for help when you need something. I always fall for the endless pancakes promotion but since it takes 20 minutes to get a pancake refill, it's not worth it at all. My favorite memory of all my visits: I asked our server what kind of soup they had. He looked me in the eye and said "I have absolutely no idea" then he just stood there. After an awkward silence, he named a soup that didn't even exist on the menu. I thought maybe someone just wandered in off the street and was pretending to be a server but I've seen him there again so I guess they pay him. read more

Service is ok. Hash browns had an odd taste and odor, like someone peed into the fryer. What you order vs pic of food is totally different. The pancakes look like they would come out normal size in the pic but what you get are silver dollar pancakes. I ordered the make your own French toast breakfast with over medium eggs and sausage and the brioche banana fosters French toast. My eggs were the farthest thing from over medium. My whites were RAW. I REPEAT RAW AND STILL CLEAR. My yolks were barely warm. I honestly don't even know how they did it. I also waited 45 minutes for raw eggs. Food is usually not cooked to par and due to the amount of time it takes to get it one do want want to send it back. Staff don't smile don't look friendly everyone looks like their mad to be there.
