    I tried to reach out to this company again to deal with a leak…read more Got some response but their phones were down at the time and they could only communicate online. Wasn't able to confirm a date and time as they must've been busy. The owner remembered an issue that I had last June, and what he had suggested probably would've prevented this request and this updated review from even happening that I am making presently. None of the others I reached out to had the foresight that AAA Chimney Experts had. AAA is all about quality, prevention, and minimal aggravation for the consumer. They may or may not always have a good schedule for you- it's hit or miss as it seems that way with most businesses in the construction field. Price from prior was reasonable and I would've probably gone with this company this time around, but my request was somewhat more timely than before.

    I booked this guy for a simple chimney sweep. While booking the appt he didn't seem like he wanted…read moreto book the appt and said things like "I might be able to do it in about two weeks..." Once the appointment was booked there wasn't much confidence that he would keep the appointment. Because of this, I kept calling around and found someone who could do it sooner and they had a better price, so I went with them. When I called him back to cancel (with over 10 days until our appointment) he got mad and asked why I was canceling, and then proceeded to say, "you know what I'm not going to fight for this [appointment], if this guy wants to cancel then fine." And then he hung up on me. Obviously a real professional. I would suggest you look elsewhere. UPDATE: in reply to the comment below; I was not mad about availability, two weeks out was reasonable. The issue I had was the uncertainty they had that they could "probably get out to me in two weeks." "Probably" doesn't help anybody. So even though we had a date on the books, it seemed very uncertain. This is why I kept looking for other options. I called to cancel with plenty of time to give them a heads up, but the response I got was rude, and yes, they hung up on me. If they were in the field and could not talk then they could 1) not answer and take a message, or 2) let me know that they were currently occupied. Instead they asked why I was cancelling and as I was trying to answer them they interrupted me and rudely said "I'm not going to fight for this, if this guy wants to cancel then fine" and then hung up on me. Rude from beginning to end. If they didn't want to do the sweep job they should have said so, that would have been fine. But to reluctantly take the job and then treat a booked customer like that is ridiculous. It's correct I never received service from them, nor would I want to now. Their work may be top notch, but I didn't have a decent interaction with them during any of the calls. They're rude and they obviously don't see how they treat the people they speak with.
